IMO Ford has a real winner in the Ranger, it is a unique vehicle in many ways. Will Ford seize the opportunity by garnishing the Ranger like a well equipped F 150 Lariat? I have a 19 Ranger Lariat that I think Ford should be embarrassed for calling it a Lariat. The options I am about to mention came on well equipped F 150 XLT, that I owned. they are heated steering wheel, memory seat function, power rear slider, and more. For a truck pushing 50 K these should all be part of the package. Come on Ford the Ranger is potentially another Mustang don't let your customer base down.
I'm Ford day in and day out I'm really happy with my new ranger I really wish I would have waited to get the tremor and further more I'd really like to go overseas and get a ranger raptor Ford has knocked it out of the park
My question is can you modify the suspension? Right now I have a XLT sport 4x4. I have Icon 2.5 coilovers with a 3.5 lift and Icon 2.0 shocks and leaf springs in the rear. I also have arb front and rear bumpers with arb side steps. My XLT sport has an open differential not a true rear locking differential. Do you think I can swap my mods over to a tremor ?
What's the point of getting the tremor though if you're going to swap the parts for the locking rear differential I think Ford can just add that instead would be a lot cheaper
You're not accurate about the drivetrain. the Trans is the 10 speed, co developed with GM, shared with the f150 and mustangs, as well as the 2.3L ecoboost used in the Focus RS, Mustang, Explorer, and some lincolns, here in america. It was developed and made here, engine? Ohio....you don't have a clue
Frontier is the exact same underneath. Heavy as hell and slow Af. My neighbor two down from me got the new pro 4x. It is nice I have no issues with Nissan, but I live in Wyoming and at altitude NA engines suck. I had two Tacomas before my Ranger and I am never EVER going back to NA engines. Get whatever you want, but the Nissan is basically reskinned. it is for sure updated, but the part I care about isn't improved.

Ya it's the same truck same bones
I'm sure your Ford dealer can help you make it happen.

The primary change on the Tremor is the lift and shocks. Change that and wheels and tires and you are basically there.

This or 2022 Frontier pro 4x?
Definitely the new Frontier.
