Love my 2023 BRZ auto worth the extra money
I wish the reviewers would back off from the hype that the only way to buy a car like the BRZ is with a manual.
I bought a BRZ with a manual and agree that it is a more enjoyable drive. I feel more connected to the car and feel like I am driving it and not a passenger in it. I will be using my BRZ for everything except taking it into work with both rush hour and city driving due to the manual. I have a second car with an automatic that I will drive on the currently two days per week that I need to go into the office.
If I had purchased the manual, I would enjoy driving a sports car 7 days a week. While it would not be as engaging on the days when I don't go into the office, it would be far more engaging than the back-up car on the days that I do. If I went into the office 5 days a week, the BRZ with a manual would have been the wrong car for me. at 2 days a week, it probably is the right decision.
An automatic in a BRZ makes it a different driving experience that, while less engaging, is preferable for city commutes and those who can't drive a manual for some reason.
Own a sapphire. 4000mi. 6 months in. Added Invidia N2 exhaust, black duckbill spoiler, changed the wheel to LED carbon fiber/pref. leather, added LED door sills, dashcam, wireless CarPlay dongle, likewise shift knob, red start/stop & red e-brake button, door scuff protectors, and wrapped some carbon fiber next to door sill and seatbelt return. Might do suspension when I can better afford to. Want Underglow but seems silly with stock wheels and height.

I bet it looks like a proper ricer now. LOL. You turned a beautiful new sapphire blue BRZ into a ricer. And you brag about it on youtube. If you put underglow on it, it will be the nail in the coffin for that car.
@@Mav86asian None of those mods are ricer my guy. The underglow, yes, which is just a maybe cuz it's a cheap mod, but I taste jealousy in your tone. Considering it's the easiest mod car everyone will personalize, this is basic shit; go troll elsewhere.

@@Mav86asian I will when they get cheaper as they don't make a huge change. Priority is some wheels and tires. Getting the 5 trim pieces is over 2k rn. I was going to get the STi lip but didn't like the size, I think the GR one looks better. Even so, I want the vent fog lights more than the trim pieces but that is also $600+. I would rather pay off the car early than dump too much $ on it atm, just doing cheap mods at the moment, I plan to keep it.

Je savais pas que vs faites des vidéos en anglais? J’ai acheté ce véhicule même couleur mais model de bas en décembre 2021. J ADORE ma BRZ 2022…. Model de base , les bancs sont plus beau que chez Toyota…. En passant j’ai le même gabarit que vs et c’est sans problème…je capotes et frotte toujours mon char…ma blonde me dit que je serais prêt à le mettre ds ma chambre… j’ai 55 ans et je serai toujours un p’tit garçon
