I just turned 70! I lov makeup and am still young @ heart!!! What do you have for me??? My biggest problem is foundation coverage and my lipstick staying on! You seem to have beautiful products. I'm passing on to my energetic friends. What's your suggestion's??? I think your beautiful. I have horrific stress problem's and I'm going to take better care of me.!!! +Rashed Aljanahi Am I missing something here? We talk about every product used and there is also a strap line for each. For instance at 1.16 a strap line appears saying: Fabulous Eye Prime prepares the eyelids for colour and shade. you know what?.....it isn,t the makeup that makes her look younger,.............it,s SMILING at the end of it, when it is done, that takes the years off her!!!....ladies , remember this !...i know only too well when i,m wandering around the shops and catch sight of myself in a shop window or shop mirror, i am usually horrified to discover that i have been traipsing around and scowling without even being aware that my face was looking either very very cross or very very fed-up!.... better that you walk around with a silly grin on your face for no reason ,than catch sight of yourself looking like your aged mother when you glimpse your own reflection!....... on the plus side, tho,.... this lady does look lovely at the end of the makeover!
Nice everyday look. I think it's even more important that us over 50 gals wear a bit of makeup every day. It's about defining features and brightening your face. Basically you are facing the world with your best you. Gives you a real confidence boost.
The model is wearing eye makeup. The primer isn't being demonstrated honestly unless it's being demonstrated on freshly washed skin without makeup.
she looked the same. I was looking for a younger look. I am 56 and i want to look a LITTLE Younger than i alredy am. Is this possible ????

This is very informative, thank you. I am 62 and am clueless what works for me. Just one thing, this lady looks so unhappy, unsmiling, not joyful! I am American, maybe that's the issue..... God bless you.....
Hi Laura - Jill was quite nervous - you would be surprised how difficult it is to be a model for these videos but she loved her makeup when we had finished filming!
I am Jill, the model. I look a little unhappy at one point as my contact lens popped out and, though I caught it in my hand, I am very short-sighted and was a little perplexed as to what to do, not wanting to interrupt proceedings. However, after I had put it back in, I think you can see I look happier, and very happy with the end result!
Laura Vitt I think the model looked just fine! She was having makeup applied. Can't be all smiling and such when that is going on. I think she did well as a model and looked quite natural.
It really helps us to see what's being done to the eye when they do the close up video... otherwise it's almost impossible for us to see the brush work, especially when the model is looking away from us ...

Older lips tend to thin, so strong colors are not recommended as they make the lips look even thinner. Neutral to lighter colors are good. The borders should be defined but not with a solid line.

Fairly nice job on Jill's makeup. i think she should wear a more natural lip color, as the reddish color is too bright, unnatural, and makes her lips look less full. Also, just a touch less eye shadow, so she doesn't look so made up.
+Nancy Pahl She needed lips lining and filling out with a slightly darker than natural lipliner and a more pink/coral lipstick with a touch of shine. More closer/intense lid liner and brow bone definition too with not so much shadow. Just my opinion.
+Aquaseventytree You are entitled to your opinion but I would disagree. Lip liners look very hard on an older mouth and are unnecessary with a lip primer to seal the edges. We could have added Soft Coral, our paler warm toned Lip Colour, but we decided that the vibrant Foxy Lady Lip Colour looked fantastic with Jill's auburn hair. I also think that the eye treatment we did brought out the lovely colour of Jill's eyes and made them look bigger and prettier. Just my opinion! Triciax

I admit at the beginning of this video I was doubtful of a good result, however, as with the other videos you have made & I've watched you renewed my faith. The mint colour on the inner part of her eyes & then highlight just under brows ....wow. Her eyes lit up in a subtle way. Although I couldn't wear this colour lipstick it would have looked wonderful on my mother's fuller lips. I also like that your models have eyes similar to mine with distance between eye & eyebrow. Thank you.
