Great Video! I have the Grass Flap on my mowers! Grass Flap does an excellent job at mulching and also it cuts down on clean up time. I spoke with David at the GIE about 3 years ago, He is a great guy with an excellent product to sell!
I also want an FW-15. Would a mulch kit work better? Or will the grass flap closed mulch grass just as good. I like the opening of side discharging for thicker grass. I don’t want to leave a trail of grass clippings in nicer grass

I plan on getting one of these as well. Originally came across the trimmer trap and couldn’t stand the design, esp the long bar that travels to the chute to the handle bars. This extra $100 for the grass flap looks worth it. Will it work with bagger systems like the accelerator bagger or the rack em grass catchers? Awesome videos as usual dan!

@@DansVlog I have a Chute blocker allready but there is those job you hit that is so long that you just want to open up the chute and run it over later to mulch it up.

Hey Dan nice video. I had seen many videos about the grass flap cable getting broken. Did you check that before buying it? I want to buy it too but quite frankly I'm not so sure about it because of that cable and they said the cable is kind of expensive for just a cable. I hope that doesn't happen to you.
Hey dan my gravely pro zt has the high lift blades but when i cut grass it does not mulch like i want it to, it leaves thw long grass that has bewn cut on grass and i have to mow over it to mulch it more .. any suggestions?
You’re welcome. You should be able to get little nuggets of information from those three or four videos that you might be able to make a decision for your situation
The ones that were best for the mulch plate! The wavy blades . That’s why I did all those tests so now I have the best combination with the chute blocker in the down position and I will only open it when I need to let clippings fly

the grass flap flips over far enough to allow a grass catcher to fit up with out removing anything on most mowers.

52's create a lot of debris... it would be very beneficial to have a chute blocker (especially one that can open-close). A good investment

The cable will last a very long time if it is lubricates and not kinked.
I had mine for 7 yrs before it broke and I cut 30 yards a week.
