The title track of the album, this is one of his best songs. This, along with tracks 3, 9, and 10, are my favorite tracks of the CD. Like the name says, it's a really great mix of electronic and rock/metal. Starts out at a quick and light pace with electronic and then pounds away with heavier metal sounds.

Mnyes, aware of that, simply that some of the parts remind that track ... and now listening to it again, it reminds a few others as well. Possible that I used the incorrect wording, English after all is not this Ones native language.
Correction, the song that plays during that particular mission/sequence would be 'Got a Present for Ya'.

intro was not really my thing. but after 1:10 i got to dig it :)
One trick I like to do is to imagine the parts that I don't like all that much is the theme of an enemy and the parts that I do like is the theme of the player character. It adds a layer of baddassery to the soundtrack if they are audibly fighting like some artistic trick.
This can be heard in one of Red Alert 3's soundtrack where Frank Klepacki mixes the rock theme of the Sovjets and the electronic theme of the empire for a mission where the Sovjets invades the Empire.
Another fitting Soviet theme in Mental Omega 3.0.

I feel like playing TS future perfect for some reason
At around 1:11 and 2:39, there's a weird sound I hear when the drums go, is that like the guitar making that sound or is there like a separate instrument making that sound? You can hear it after the guitar stops and the drum makes contact with the symbol, or whatever that piece is on the drum set.
That's just the vibration/echo from the palm-muted strings on a guitar. It has that disctinctive, clangy sound to it when done a certain way.
