    I am busy translating this video into my mother tongue for my final project at university but I can't hold myself to leaving a comment here. I really can't understand why people are against LGBTQ+ when they are literally just doing no harm to anybody and just living as themselves. How can people freely speak tons of silly opinions while many others in the LGBTQ+ community are suffering and dying? Where is the fair, the conscience? When won't we need to use letters to define people who are just human, too? Sometimes I can't believe that I am living in he 21st century when people are still so conservative like this.

    It’s truly a wonderful school. We are so thankful for it and hope many more adopt the model of trauma informed learning and acceptance.

    I don't know why Democrats are always against Charter Schools, when a Charter School like this, can be a part of your city.

    I wish I could have been able to go to a school like this (and be out much sooner than I was). My childhood would have been so much better if I wasn’t raised in such a far right environment or went to such a conservative (and very wealthy) school.

    The Loki kid has a long and very bright future ahead, working at Starbucks.

    • @amesser6
      @amesser6 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Better a long and bright future at a Starbucks than a life lived hiding who you are. Or worse, a life not lived at all. Suicide rates with children/teens/YA in the lgtbq+ community are higher than "normal" people their age. All they're looking for is a safe place to express themselves and find out where they belong.
      Is that wrong?
      Don't you find it disturbing that Starbucks is the only place they will find that level of acceptance?

    • @growlikethewind5788
      @growlikethewind5788 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@amesser6 As a business owner myself. Yes. That is disturbing. But here's the truth : I can't send Loki out on a serious sales call to sell a 15+ thousand dollar product to a customer. (I'm in the roofing business). If Loki shows up to a customer's house with all that makeup first of all it will be melted off by the time Loki is done with Loki's inspection. Then comes sitting down with the customer typically inside the house at their dining room table to explain the customers issues and proposal for solutions are presented. Do you get me ? Fine if Loki wants to be a Rockstar or and artists but looking that way limits you in modern society and takes away avenues that the person may have never considered. I have some tattoos and two small earrings, I get self expression but if we're being honest i think Loki needs some love from both sides to help Loki see that a rougher than normal future may await due to personal appearance.
