The charisma and boldness at Porsche is simply palpable....first of all thrusting this model at an unsuspecting clientele almost decade ago, holding them hostage with an exhilarating fugly duckling with a fat backside, then churning out a scintillating greatest luxury sport sedan in the world in Panamera II after an unbelievably successful Panamera I. Gotta love the Porsche adventure...
No mentioning, but you can run 31 miles on the battery alone. I researched and found EPA combined: 25 mpg (battery depleted) and EPA combined: 55 MPGe (battery charged)
I don't mind paying $100000 for a Porsche; I own a 2015 Porsche Cayenne S e-Hybrid. However, anything more than that is difficult to justify. The Porsche Panamera Turbo S e-Hybrid is--obviously---a great car, but I cannot possibly see how it could be worth $185000 (by the time you specify the options).
This is exactly what the new Stinger needs. A plug in hybrid sport model with 30-50 miles of range. Fantastically efficient and yet still sporty. I love this Panamera but it's so expensive which is why I'd get the Stinger instead.
Pablo Herasme yes the panamera is way more powerful, luxurious, and expensive but they’re both the same body style and I think both look equally sporty and stylish
If you like the Stinger, so be it. I think you'll enjoy it...but to bring that up on a Panamera review, is like mentioning that you like Oscar Meyer hot dogs, on a video reviewing a $50 prime steak.
As the saying goes - If you have to ask, you can't afford it. - Nice cars. Porsche has always been pricey but the prices for many of their models have gotten ridiculous.
Ahmad Qasem More like "expensive," to me! I don't see why anyone would chose this car over one like a Mercedes Benz S63 S AMG, which offers quicker/better acceleration and is more luxurious, unless that individual is just a diehard Porsche fan. Even a BMW 760Li is a better choice for that kind of money, in my opinion.
The question remains...will Porsche make a 2 door Panamera (ala 928)? The dilemma will be how good can they be allowed to make it, without overshadowing the 911?
That's kind of false. Every level of panamera has a Sports Turismo, executive and hybrid version to each one go specc one on Porsche and see what I'm talking about
The base model is 85k? Okay that's not too bad... What if I wanna option up to the top model? Add $100k. Oh um... No thanks. I bet it would be cheaper to just buy the base model and buy aftermarket parts to turn it into a top model lol
How do you force Tureeeesmo out of Turismo? It is just plain painful listening to this kind of tortured pronunciation in some kind of attempt at a European accent

What an amazing car
love my Panamera GTS... might trade it in for the S E-Hybrid tho.... great vid!!
Did I miss the MPG estimates/test results? Granted this is a sports hybrid, it’s still a hybrid and MPG is an important factor.
Macheww I'm pretty sure MPG is not even in the priority 100 list for a 200K car.

Mice car nice video A glimpse of Porrsche future
Time for Porsche to make a 2-door Panamera and call it the 928.

Transpower try upwards of 215k
I just picked one up and it MSRP at $222k, saw another online at $229k, Second fastest porsche next to the 918

Doesn't really matter to me, Stinger is still really fast and is a third of the price.
Not even in the same class
You can't compare the 2 cars they're totally different leagues. A guy who buys a Porsche doesn't even know that Kia is a car brand

"the Sport Turismo starts at a much more reasonable $97,250" um......
Excellent video though

I'll have a turbo hybrid wagon? Thanks!
I thought a shooting break was a two-door station wagon.
I like the Retro-style music-less review!

You might want to check out what top model 911s are doing. I doubt seriously this porker would be a serious threat.
Eks calybur : good point...the GT2 RS would be still unbeatable by even a uber-boosted Panamera coupe.

Expensive
How many of your subscribers make the income to afford these cars?
the number of subscribers is probably greater than the number of your brain cells.
9600GTMAN I can afford 1.
I’m getting 1 this July
This show is broadcast on PBS nationally. Average income of PBS watchers is very high.
Nukes Away too bad I don’t fall into that category.

You obviously have no idea about the handle of the 911 and of true luxury when using these phrases and comparisons.
if you know the maintenance rate you must avoid this car.
Although payment instead fence body evaluation obstacle map investor uniform soldier.
Too expensive! An S63 AMG can delivers better acceleration and is more luxurious.
I believe the Tesla is cheaper and quicker
But the Tesla's fully electric. Wait until Porsche to release the Mission E, then we'll these two fight together. :3
glovedcop69
Much, much cheaper and quicker!
It's the handling and braking where the Porsche shines go to you local road course or autocross no comparison there
what a truly ugly piece of shit the panamera is..so ungainly with horrible proportions. i hate it.
