Brian's review is detailed and relative to real life. You comment on not needing to warm up during winter is just what I need to know. Will trade in my Cayenne Gts when a new Cayenne comes out. Thank you.
2:42 that's gotta be the best looking, most intuitive navigation visualization I've ever seen! I especially like the truly immersive experience those squares that almost completely blend into the white background bring. And the classic ant battle texture at the top of the screen, it has a true retro feel to it. It reminds me of a mix of old TV and C64 graphics. I absolutely love it and I've never seen anything like this. For once there's also true focus only on the information that actually matter, the "> _ _ _ km". I mean wow, just wow! This is revolutionary and only Porsche can do something like this!
Great review. I agree, some controls-buttons should be physical and not touch ones etc like a tablet. It's pretty, for sure, to have touch controls but not functional.
The reviewer mentioned that there was away to have the car “ toasty warm” when you get in it. How do you do this? It is my understanding that this car does not have a remote start capability. I live in Chicago and would love to be able to get into a warm car.
anyone mind answering my questions. whats the difference between hybrid s vs hybrid s e (more hp? and faster) I am looking to get a turbo but was curious about s e
In E-Charge and E-Hold you're not using the electric motor, which means you're basically driving a 2.9 turbocharged V6 Panamera with the inevitable turbo lag, right?
How the fuck is this "basically a 918"? With that logic, you could also say that a Prius is "basically a 918". The 918 is 1000+ lbs lighter, has 450 more hp, 450 more lb-ft, 3 fewer seats, mid engine, N/A, way more expensive and advanced etc. Being a Porsche and being hybrid are the only major things this car shares with the 918.
gmansplit Calm down man, a prius has nothing to be with a panamera, and is not a small thing the fact that is a Porsche and that the technology of the 918 is in this car, it's true it does not make 0-60 in 2.something but it still has a lot of power, the panamera has the same modes as the 918, and some of the interior, thats why I said tickle down, is not at the same level, but it is a taste of the 918, I admit it maybe the words "basically is a 918" didn't fully say what I meant to say
NO! :) :But then I'm the wrong person to ask "Want one of these in your driveway?" I don't see any use for sedans period. Want practicality? Buy a SUV. Want sporty performance? Buy a sports car (e.g. Porsche 911). Hope you get your hands on the 2018 Porsche Targa 4 GTS. Keep the reviews coming! :) What I don't like about current gen Porsches...too many buttons. Not something you want in a Porsche. Need to be able to "find" the button you want w/o looking away from the road .
Anderson C Sedans have a lot more use than a SUV they are usually very practical and they are a more efficient type of car than a SUV, more aerodynamic, lighter, more engaging to drive, easier to park, etc... They can't off road but who does in a SUV? Don't get me wrong there are great SUVs on the market, but that doesn't mean a sedan is useless
David tcg Could you ps tell me why you think sedans are more practical than a SUV? I don't think SUV buyers are thinking "efficiency" or "fuel economy". :) I wouldn't be. Again, for me...if you want "utility" (e.g. carry big box items, antiques, hockey bags, dogs..etc...Land Rover LR4, Benz G Wagon). For spirited driving...buy a sports car (e.g. 911). Their intended use. Sedans, to me are only needed when you know you won't be hauling items that won't fit in the trunk (e.g. less than 2 feet tall). Such as..to be used as a limo..
I like the direction they're going with these. It's a huge improvement in performance and design! Too bad I won't be able to afford one anytime soon.
commuting in electric and having fun on the canyons, and is beautiful this is the car I want !!!
+Carlitox b Me too!!!
the best review on this model i've seen. good job.

Great review bro
Thanks 🙏
great review
any idea how cold weather might affect the performance of the E-Hybrid's electric engine and batteries?

Great video, great car. By the way where is the beatiful road at 11:00
On 7:03 it seems to be a different Porsche, I observed that by the hollow steering wheel. What is it? An 991 GT3 RS?
+Uncle Sam It was a Panamera. There were many different ones there.
It really isn’t
I enjoy my Hybrid Porsche
nice review! I'll buy it this year!!! It's amazing
more power more efficient
+이종진 You'll really like it.

No one answered, sad.

So basically this car is a 918, it is the perfect example of trickle down, if I get to have one, I would probably paint it in acid green

Your wish will be coming true very soon on your GTS Review. Check back in 7 days from now. Thanks!
Will do. Definitely. Keep up the great work!! Hope it's a Targa GTS. :)

Anderson C Lol SUVs are the death of this world
😮 top wagen
2:41...¿¿?¿?¿?¿?¿¿? display error???
What's the fuel economy on electric, on hybrid , on gas?
+Wang Yu 2.9l/100kms is the average.
Another downfall of those « touch » buttons is that you cannot use them with gloves. Pretty useful when it's - 25 °C outside...
M-A. L. Pretty useful when you're inside a heated cabin tho
M-A. L. Who would use a hybrid in a place that's -25C your battery would be fucked 😂
M-A. L. you can preat heat the cabin so no need for gloves
Works with gloves. I have a one.
What's the combined mpg?
2.9l/100kms
Everyday Reviews Wow thanks!
what is HOV lane!!!???
Car Pool. High Occupancy Vehicle Lane
It's strange to see a left-hand drive car driving on the left side of the roadway.
lol talking about saving money on fuel in a high end car that probably costs north of 100k
That interior colour combo is disgusting...
+Mat Nowak Actually looks better in person.
Only all black is good interior color.
tstrrtstrr brown or red is also nice
It's a nice try, but just ditch the smelly old engine and go 100% electric already.
Fuck right off.
