@@ThePistonPittry going to your local photography retailer and just test them. They're about the same. Sony AF is still slightly ahead of Nikon. The Z6 series is used by a lot of wedding photographers so it's more than enough for anyone.
Nice setup! I also have the Z6III and Zf, super combo. Zf is my daily carry and the Z6III (with the battery grip) is my workhorse for events / portraits.
Waited and waited for the small Z6iii and now i won’t be upgrading for years to come..focus issues are my main concern on my previous nikon’s Z6/6ii/7ii,,my Z6iii/Z7ii combo will be with me for years to come, studio/static my Z7ii takes care of those, events, travel, moving subjects the Z6iii is my go to..oh and the video features are nice addition too..
I used the Z6ii sometimes adapting my GM lenses but I’m thinking to get the z6iii since the AF is already updated. I agree with you about the A7iv. Nikon evf and screens are very good.
“Why would anyone switch away from Sony?” - because a camera is more than a computer with a sensor *for a lot of people. Nikon has incredible lens selection with better weather sealing than Sony, a MUCH better mount for adapting other glass due to the much shorter flange distance, a much more comfortable grip (outside the Zf) than the Sony, the UI is less cluttered. There’s a lot of reasons. If Sony works for you though, great! Also, look at what the Z8 offers vs the A1 mk 2. The Z8 offers 90-95% of the features for like, half the price lol.
The Megadap adapter is constantly hunting for focus in video mode, making it difficult to achieve smooth and consistent autofocus. This issue likely requires a firmware update from the manufacturer to improve performance and compatibility.
the weird thing is that its performed pretty well with the ZF with all lenses ive tried on video. the only one that hunts for me is 20mm but im going to try to make a dedicated video on that adapter.
@ Also can I know whats better for video Sony a7iv or the z6iii from AF and video quality in low light and overheating in 4k 50fps I do weddings and need to get 3 cameras
@@ramonsahi5802 as far as I know, they are pretty comparable. The Nikon Z6III has more robust codexs so they have a leg up there. I don't have much experience with the Z6III yet but the sony has never overheated on me. Close a few times but never shut off.
now i owning the nikon z5, and this z6iii its my dreaming camera, maybe i buy it in next 10 year later wkwkwk,, having top LCD make it look pro, and i hope you make video review when doing wedding or event using this bad boy z6iii,,,
Hi, how are things with flicker and noise ? Is this a problem if you shoot in a n log? I don't know which camera to choose, Sony a7iv or Nikon z6iii !? please advise
Nikon is next up, they are king of ergonomics. I've had 5 canon bodies, all fun cameras...then went to sony a7iv... i absolutely hate the sony i disiked everything inside out and hated how the body felt in the hand as u said

Switched from A7IV and A7CII to the Nikon Z8, Z6iii, and Zf and I'm never looking back. Nikon on the rise right now!

I think the Z6III is a great upgrade from the Z6II, the autofocus is really good!

@ I have the 20mm as well. I have tried the 135mm and it looks better not like the 20mm... Im using the Megadap etz21 pro

Yes just like I'm replacing Sony and Fuji with my Nikon Z50 ii. And once my Panasonic is sold I will get Nikon z6iii to replace my Lumix S5ii
