Use to just free roam around the section just to listen to the song lol This music just has that early 2000s tone to it that newer spyro games dont have
Honestly, once you get past the "haha rushed game go glitch" thing, I feel like this game is a manifestation of that weird otherworldly feeling that the PS2 and some of it's games have that I don't know how to describe.
@@tsm_wannabe6871 I also like this Spyro game and I hope it gets a remaster too along with a Hero's Tail and Shadow Legacy and continue on where Original Spyro left off I really like The Shadow Realms and the Sorcerer and Flame and Ember and I like Spyro x Ember too.
This wasn't my first Spyro game and I definitely prefer the original trilogy to this and all the games that came after it, yet I feel more nostalgia for this game than those original 3. There's something about the atmosphere of this music that places me right back into my childhood; 7 year old me running around aimlessly, not knowing what terrible framerates are or this game's rushed development. I think it's the warm ambiance and slight emptiness to this game's environments that really compliment this music; the slightly darker, ominous interlude (at around 1:00) gives the feeling that something bad might happen later in the story, yet it never really does. This theme in particular gives off a dreamy vibe. Having a track like this be one of the first pieces you hear in the game really make me wonder what this game could've been if it wasn't rushed.
This game has a weird place in my heart, as a kid (i think i was like 8 or 9) I enjoyed this game and so did my friend, we would play this for hours, it felt like adventure. But unfortunately now I find the game really boring and the glitches really ruin the game, I lost the same feeling I had when I was a kid. Its makes me sad to say this game is bad but in my opinion it is, I wish I could relive those experience I had as a kid. I will never forget the memories me and my friend had with this game.
i was always too afraid to listen to this song in the game cause for some reason when it hits the sad, slow part my mind thought i was at spyros funeral and i would cry which thinking about it this game was in many ways spyros funeral, rip insomniac spyro
The ukulele part played in a Netflix show “Queer Eyes” and I thought I recognized it from somewhere. I’m surprised I guessed right it’s been years since I heard this.
***** Honestly, I think it's a shame they rushed it. If they had spent more time on it they could have removed more of the bugs that hold the game back so much. Also, only 1 hubworld? Yeah it's so obvious it was rushed.
DavidsonLoops I would love a Hd version of thjs game if they fixed the glitches and added gulp and crush as bosses before ripto( This could easily be possible thanks to current tech).
Tyrik Flood-Feaster It's not technology that's the problem now, it's the rights to Spyro which were sold off almost a decade ago, to developers that have absolutely no idea how much they're defaming the franchise, and I for one, am very discontented with this.
+ᵗᶣᵉᴎᵉᵓᵣᵒᵖᵤᵉᵣᵢ To tell you the truth, I would rather they hadn't released the game at all instead of giving me a broken, unfinished mess of a game. At least if they had opted instead to not rekease the game, I wouldn't feel so damn insulted by he steaming pile of shit they did release.
***** Yeah. I remember liking it a lot. Though it seems most people notice the flaws that I never had noticed... And that's alright with me. Still doesn't ruin it for me. Have you played it as a child too?
Tbh, I actually really liked Enter the Dragonfly while I was younger. Though, there were times when the game would either crash, or I would have to endure waiting through a crazy long loading screen. As well as falling through some platforms. But other than that, I found EtD enjoyable.
@@yeah_dude03 I made two Reddit posts explaining on what I would do to fix the game, aside from the obvious bugs, glitches, and long loading times. Want to see them?
This song is oddly nostalgiac for me, I’ve always had a soft spot for this game, I don’t think it’s anywhere near as good as the OG trilogy or even A Hero’s Tail but I still have nostalgia for it, I’ll even admit I can still have fun with this game, the glitches are mostly annoying but can sometimes be funny.

entertainmentmaster4 +2 This song makes me sad every time because it brings back memories of the good ole days when me and my friend would play it and take turns of taking on those crazy breath gate challenges not to mention this game did pull me through some really hard times
Yes, kinda. These songs were composed by Kenneth Burgomaster and Peter Neff before Stewart Copeland (The original trilogy's composer) stepped in and helped add finishing touches, like percussion and bells.
What happened to equinox and check six since this is all universal's fault like I mean everything if they went bankrupt because of universal's greedy and really tight release schedule to release Spyro Enter the Dragonfly I won't be suprised the game flopped hard 😢
Even when I was younger I was disappointed in this game. I liked how colorful and bright the game was and the music but hated the ugly and sometimes disturbing looking character designs, and the many, many, glitches. Especially the one where Spyro would glide on the ground for a while after exiting a portal. It never lived up to Year of the Dragon.
Such a lazy excuse. The hub world, 4 realms, and one boss idea they did in Spyro 3 was great and I wouldn't have minded if they redid it again. Damn you Insomniac.

I wish this game could be remade for the game it really deserved to be! It deserves to have a second chance. I want the game the devs WANTED to make.
0:37 that is the most spyro sounding music I've heard
part of this tune is in the lsd dream emulator soundtrack. the song is called tv river
wouldn't it be the other way around? lsd came out half a decade before this game
