Brinch Yeah but my game refused to give me a dragonfly for that. So I’d do the challenge (by hovering) and get jack all for doing it, this in turn would finish my game off on 99%. Best to just do it the regular way!
Oh, no, Spyro! It looks like the Riptocs have frozen all the Dragon Masters! You're going to have to use your flame breath to melt the ice and find out what happened here.
Glad to see other people in 2020 still enjoy just listening to the old soundtracks of this game, the dead comment section made me think i was the only one lol
@AaronDoesYT people don't hate the game because they want to. Why would a Spyro fan want to hate a Spyro game? People hate it because it's buggy, has awful graphics, poor frame rate, frequent crashes, a single homeworld, barely any character, only about 8 levels (most of which were needlessly large and empty), a single boss, like how many more problems do I need to list? It needs to have over double the content to least be worth the money, and the levels would still be awful unless they were totally redesigned, but now we're talking about adding more content than the base game even has and redesigning the base game. Why not just make a brand new game at that point?
@@MichaelHill-sg8ks I never found a single bug in that game or glitch and it never crashed plus it had perfect fram rate for me so I dont know what your talking about there. To add I thought it was a grate game.
@@itsthenicky1360 You "never found a single bug or glitch and it never crashed plus it had perfect frame rate". I honestly don't know wether you're trolling or misremembering, because if the game was as you described above, then it would be known far and wide as the most well made game ever developed. Literally every game has its own bugs, but EtD has so many game breaking ones that it isn't even funny. Just going into the options menu whilst underwater crashes the game in many versions. @@MichaelHill-sg8ks littraly I never had a problem with this game on my PS2 never had a single issue with it I still have the game to this day and even now after having it for 12 years (it couls of been more or less than that I think I had the game first when I was like 5 but I know I still play it so I know the game verry well) it still works fine. Also this makes me happy to know I was lucky and have a copy of the game with no bugs.
Toys for Bob/Activision missed a major trick by not adding this as DLC. It could've made everyone happy, not a strict Spyro 4 that's super short, but also not leaving it out entirely. It's a small game so would've been perfect for a £20-30 DLC.
it's worth a try, I just recently 100%ed it for the first time since I was a kid and it was pretty fun. Make sure you get the Gamecube version though, it plays so much better then the PS2 version, it runs way smoother and has way faster load times.
For anyone who is wondering what this singing is it’s called Tuvan throat sing it comes from Mongolia and the instrument is not a bongo it is a tabla, bongos are more flat pitch while a tabla has one drum that is high pitch which is the small drum and the big drum has a sound like a weird water sound that sounds flat like when you drop a big rock in a river and it sinks really quick and you hear the sound “gloop”.
Hm coming here finding all sorts of negative comments I kinda liked this game though .. I played it alot, and honestly the glitches added to the experience it felt so nice when swim in air or you managed to clip through the gate into the later areas, we used to record us doing all sorts of stuff like that onto VHS back in the day! - Noia
@StarfyandVaporeon @CrystalFissure I think I want to live in Cloud 9, Dragon Realms or Dragonfly Dojo. The Dojo seems so relaxed! Just like Dragon Realms. Cloud 9 is heaven, with those fluffy clouds and sleeping teddybears.. ♥
@@juniorsir9521 Yeah I really like the atmosphere of the levels they do a really good job in that respect, it's just unfortunate that the game was broken and ran at 2 FPS. Playing it in 60 FPS on Dolphin actually makes for a relatively decent experience but still a fair bit of jank due to glitches
Actually, this isn’t the only game where they’re good In Spyro: Attack of the Rhynocs for the gameboy, there’s a place called “Thieve’s guild” which is essentially a school for young thieves

the fuck!?? best childhood game and is still the best game out there!! Everyone can shove the ps4 and whatever else up their asses!!! nothin beats this!!!!!
If you like the game, then good for you. I don't actually have a PS4 so... I don't really know why you said that to me. As a matter of fact the first three Spyro games are some of my favourite games of all time. Personally, I despise this game though because it virtually killed the Spyro series. It had a terrible framerate that often dropped below 15fps, half of the game was cut leading to a feeling of incompleteness, the characters had no personality for the most part unlike the originals, the controls were floaty, it strained the PS2 just to run it, and it Crashed more frequently than a car driven by a blind man. This game is so broken that the world record speedrun for it is 0:01:07! The game is objectively bad but it's ok to like it.
@@MichaelHill-sg8ks i know i'm in the minority, but i enjoyed it. sure bubble breath's range was way too short to make the dragonflies fun and the npcs felt pretty generic and samey, but how nothing was in the way in the hub world was made charging around and messing about with the different breaths so much fun to mess around with even if you knew there wasn't really anything to do there for the time being. the actual levels might've been nowhere near as good as the ps1 levels, but that hub and the first level made up for a lot of it, i think.

Never knew this had throat singing until I heard it on youtube. Makes it 100 times more amazing!
I hope they remake this game with glitches fixed and the missing content added, then people can stop bashing this game.
People don't want it to be remade that's the problem I think they just want to hate the game but it would've been good if it was finished

I loves this soundtrack :3
If I had to choose anywhere in this game to live, anywhere at all, I'd choose Dragon Realms or this place.

I agree.
Agreed! Enter the Dragonfly is my favorite Spyro! Wish there were more than 8 levels...

Admittedly I'm finding the game itself a bit of a slog atm (just did this level), but I quite like this music, at least. ;D
The one thing they definitely didn't rush was the music.
Funniest stage I played in this game. Everytime I flame an enemy, they would shout a cartoonist sound. 😅
I like the music and this level's aesthetic, just a shame they weren't in a better game.
