I recently received one for Rav4, and I noticed a heating problem. When I try to eject the card, even after driving for a few minutes, it's very hot.
Have you had any issues with it functioning? Any electronic device will generate heat, especially a camera. I've noticed mine get warm, but haven't had it turn off or overheat.
Have you tried the rear camera as well with license plate?
The rear FitcamX camera is actually mounted inside the car! Which is nice because it won't get dirty. I haven't tried it, just watched a couple videos about it. Based on how much I like the front camera, I wouldn't hesitate buying one.
