Unfortunately successive governments have least interest to preserve the monuments and develop tourism. They should learn marketing techniques from Tamilnadu. Karnataka has more places of historical interest than any other state.

Last year when I visited this fort, I saw huge storage room kind of underground structures and it dint had direct access, I was thinking why those were built and what they were storing in that. As you explained in this video, if this fort was used for Iron ore smelting, I hope these were used for storing Iron ore, is that correct?
