You mentioned one of my favorite movies Copland! If anyone has not watched this one yet, Ken knows what he is talking about. I agree that this is one of Stallone's and Liotta's best movies. Stallone took a back seat in the starring role but he stole the movie.

Only had 7 of the same as my list haha! I could obviously write a bunch of why not this or that but I know it’s a hard list to come up with. The 100th best movie from the 1990’s is still probably an excellent movie!

My List. I feel like the 90s was the era of guilty pleasures so I did not hold back. These truly are my favorites and movies I (no joke) have seen at least 20 times each, with some reaching closer to 50, and my tops going even higher. 1. The Craft 2. Empire Records 3. Cool World 4. The Santa Claus. What About Bob. The Mask. James And The Giant Peach. Gordy. Once Upon A Forest. Beauty And The Beast The Enchanted Christmas. Mrs Doubtfire. Toy Story. Man Of The House. George Of The Jungle. The Jungle Book 1994. City Slickers 2 Legend Of Curly's Gold. Good Burger. There are so many movies the 90s that I can go on and on about. @@midlevelmedia Absolutely. So is Copland for that matter and so appreciate his performance there, for sure. With Rocky V though, and all the nuances Stallone had to nail to get the brain damage down, from the dialogue to the body movements to the randomly darting eyes when he got agitated... I can watch the movie and just get lost in the work he put into the role specifically here.
The top 4 are tied: 1. Braveheart 2. Dolores Claiborne 3. Forrest Gump 4. Magnolia 5. Goodfellas 6. Terminator 2: Judgment Day 7. JFK 8. Pleasantville 9. Toy Story 2 10. Toy Story 11. Aladdin 12. Tarzan (1999) 23. Bringing Out the Dead 24. Prince of Egypt 25. Awakenings
It's hard to make a list of favorite movies and it's the 90's. it was a time for cinema. There aren't that many great movies out these days. nostalgia would also play the first violin here. I would definitely make different movies than yours based on me. I love family movies, which often don't make it to the list of favorite movies, and I watch them most often like home, free willy, encino man, back to future 3. my favorite comic book movies are teenage mutant ninja turtles, the return of batman, blade, the crow . favorite action movies cliffhanger, die hard 2,3, lethal weapon 3, speed, rock, true lies, mission impossible, leon, con air, broken arrow, last boy scout, science fiction action Terminator 2, Universal Soldier, Demolition Man, . s-f horror alien3, Predator 2, screamers. lot of horror movies candyman, childs play 2, new Nightmare, mouth of madness, scream, the faculty, from dusk till dawn, dracula, thriller silence of the lambs, basic instinct, seven, kalifornia, fight club, my two favourite war movies saving private ryan and the thin red line. the disaster movies titanic and twister would have to be on it. a lot of crime movies like pulp fiction, Jackie Brown, heat, king of ny or ,,the maker,, Yes I know nobody knows that movie.
Same as your Independence Day placing being ruined by the newest movie. Your number 1 may have been knocked down if you did watch the 4K transfer. I honestly do not mind it. Anyways here is my 25 that didn't make your list. But mine is in alphabetical order just so I can complete it easier: 1) Armageddon 2) Boyz in the Hood 3) Casino 4) Child's Play 2 5) Dances with Wolves 6) Days of Thunder 7) Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas 8) Fight Club (didin't make your list because of rule #1) 9) Goodfellas 10) Kindergarten Cop 11) Lionheart 12) Misery 13) My Girl 14) Pretty Woman 15) Problem Child 16) Romy and Michele's High School Reunioun 17) Space Jam 18) The Crow 19) The Fifth Element 20) The Mask 21) The Matrix 22) The Shawshank Redemption 23) The Wedding Singer 24) Thelma and Loiuse 25) There's Something About Mary
I'll give you Copland over Casino, but Goodfellas...not sure. If remember, Stallone gained a bunch of weight to be the sheriff. After watching Tulsa King, the man can act..not to mention First Blood and Rocky.
Faculty and Independence Day above Bubba Ho-Tep? Faculty above Reservoir Dogs? Really? I get it, I guess you didn't want more than one Tarantino movie and you went with Pulp Fiction.
Cop and a half and Bubba Ho-Tep are better than The Faculty and Candyman. The first Candyman isn't very good imo. Better than Scream? New Nightmare? The Good Son? Serpent and the Rainbow? Nah. I get it though. Making ranking lists is f'n hard. So much depends on mood, what you saw first, etc.
Ken, Think I need to take away your horror credentials. Where is Misery, Tremors, The Sixth Sense, Scream, Scream 2, Candyman, Army of Darkness, Jacob's Ladder, Sleepy Hollow, People under the stairs, Frighteners, Interview with the Vampire, Child's Play 2, Exorcist 3?
@@midlevelmedia I find the movie relatable cause Edward felt like an outcast and I can relate to that also another favorite Tim Burton movie I liked is Beetlejuice

As far as 90s go, Die Hard with a Vengeance > Speed, and I do like Speed a lot.
Backdraft!!!
Muriel's Wedding, the best 90's movie no one has seen.
I was a Blown Away fan more than Speed, but Speed was great too
Still need to get to that one
Did you not know, this is not a good transfer, if im wrong who did the transfer of this movie T2
Same as your Independence Day placing being ruined by the newest movie. Your number 1 may have been knocked down if you did watch the 4K transfer. I honestly do not mind it. Anyways here is my 25 that didn't make your list. But mine is in alphabetical order just so I can complete it easier:
1) Armageddon
2) Boyz in the Hood
3) Casino
4) Child's Play 2
5) Dances with Wolves
6) Days of Thunder
7) Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

25) There's Something About Mary
Son In Law didn’t make the list???
I'll give you Copland over Casino, but Goodfellas...not sure. If remember, Stallone gained a bunch of weight to be the sheriff. After watching Tulsa King, the man can act..not to mention First Blood and Rocky.
No doubt. Love Stallone!
Love the list, but no 95 Friday the movie jumpstarted everybody career, 91 Boyz n the hood was nominated for best picture should have been mentioned
Carlitos way. Eye's wide shut. Terminator 2.
Before watching this...Just wondering where Cop and a Half falls. Should be Top 3, but bet it's not.
Candyman was number 16 I think? Lol
Home alone
I kicked myself for missing that one. And Toy Story. Smh
Don't forget Edward Scissors Hands
Never been a big scissorhands fan.
@@midlevelmedia I find the movie relatable cause Edward felt like an outcast and I can relate to that also another favorite Tim Burton movie I liked is Beetlejuice
