Man I'm having a hard time with this one. First off, the gun is like $485 at most places when it's in stock. Secondly, every upgrade that you listed is an upgrade we all do on our 19s and 17s anyways. Red dots and flashlights being expensive is not a con when you're buying a gun specifically to put a red dot and flashlight on it. The reason you buy the MOS version is because you plan on dumping money into it. If it doesn't shoot well, fair enough. It probably shoots the same as the non MOS 43 and 43X (not sure if you hate those guns too). Talon grips are like $15 if the grip is that terrible, and if your gonna spend the money on a stipple job, its probably cause you were planning on it anyways. I'm just failing to see how this gun is any different than any other Glock as far as it's flaws.
Yep! Agree. Saying a whole lot of nothing like most TH-camrs. People just don't have critical thinking (or listening) skills. You can get Talon or Fox grips for $15, A powerful mini Olight w/laser for $110 and TruGlow night sights for $60 (which are excellent sights!) I have all of these on my Glock. You can get great quality products at pretty cheap prices. Some people just want to spend a lot of money on certain brands because others do. And you can get Sig or Shield mini red dots for $199-$299 that work just fine, which I also have. People need to stop being so weak-minded and easily persuaded by TH-camrs or anyone else and start using more critical thinking.
exactly, and really you dont HAVE to stiple it. put some talon grips on it for a few bucks. last video ill watch from this dude.

Apparently the Romeo Zero is among the optics that fit without an adapter plate. It has a nice profile. As usual with Glocks, mounting screws are an issue. If they're too long, they'll interfere with the slide's operation.
This guy reminds me of the guy that comes to by your car but then kicks tires for 20 minutes telling you all the things he’s gonna have to do to it to make it drivable. Plus he comes off as really whiny, just my opinion of course
Let the butthurt flown through you. One day you'll realize that Glock isn't always perfect and it takes large chunks of cash to make a stock Glock as good as some other stock offerings out there (CZ, HK, etc)
@@dilldowschwagginz2674 Ummm...there's plenty of people who work stock glocks just fine. Some people just don't deal with the ergonomics well and they should stick to other manufacturers. But my G19 Gen 5 is stock and I have taken to to competitions and my only complaints are the halfmoon cutouts which can be fixed with a dremel, and I don't have an optic. Other than that I like the trigger even compared to some other very nice guns that I have shot (I started with a P228 and a tricked out 1911 an instructor had at the range I would go to where they rented out guns). I also shot a P320, M&p 2.0, CZ when I was purchasing my G19 and I would say I was marginally more accurate with the CZ and the Sig and that was after not shooting for a couple years prior to gettibg my permit... Long story short is the Glock isn't the problem...if you put in the time to practice youd presentation you will probably do just fine especially at the distances that a self defense situation might happen inside of. The best part is the gun will work. I would like to get my hands on some other pistols but right now I am limited to my P365 and G19. Hopefully I can find something that fits what I am looking for that is also CT compliant soon.

He made some good points, but it took almost 6 minutes before he made the first one. That's how it goes with TH-cam videos, where most of what is said can be extracted into a couple a paragraphs that you could read and absorb in a few minutes. I've seen much worse, where the guy on camera not only didn't write a script -- he didn't even create an outline. That causes going in circles, beating to death insignificant points, going in circles, and meandering off the topic. Compared to that, this guy's not bad. At least he's personable, if you have time to spare.
I have the G43X mos with a Holosun 507k and S15 shield mags and I absolutely love it. I upgraded it with Tyrant Designs steel mag catch, slide stop and slide back plate, then slapped on some talon grips. I paid $450 for the G43X mos. $229 for the 507k. $80 for the mag catch, slide stop and slide back plate. $20 for the grips. $50 for CHPWS base plate. $60 for a Tulster oath holster. Well under a grand out the door for a fantastic carry gun and full package is IMO a great deal. Far from the $2,500 this guy is claiming. The trigger isn’t the best but it definitely isn’t the worst.....I do plan on upgrading it in the near future. This dude is just bitter that he overpaid for a G48 before the mos version dropped
Your dog looks you in the eye while he is pooping because he knows that he is at his most vulnerable point and he’s watching for you to alert him if danger arises.
Line up the sights of your dog, sike him on it about 4 or 5 rounds, when he drops finish him off with a round/dump on the head, while he’s watching you closely, giving you the eye, I love you, feed me, so I can poop some more.
The gun is worthy of your trust but those shield arms S15 magazines are unreliable junk imo. I just run OEM Glock mags in my G43x and I don't feel like I'm at a real disadvantage. You can get baseplate extensions for those mags too.
@@armorers_wrench nice, I have 2 gen 2 shield mags, I have about 500 rounds through each with zero issues. My 43x is my favorite EDC, im saving up to get the slide cut & add a RMRcc. What issues are people been having with the mags?
@@mattconklin4026 how much snappier is it compared to a glock 19 or 45? I'm trying to decide on a firearm and live in a 10+1 region so capacity is not much of an issue but shooting experience is very important to me since I am looking primarily for home defense and a distant second for a very occasional carry.
Man that is a steal. That's cheaper than the standard 43x around me and I can't even find a 43x MOS in stock without paying absurd markups online. I am so envious of you.
The 43x is great. It is far superior for concealing in the waistband, especially if you have to sit down. I can't think of a reason to own anything between a 43x and a 17, anymore. 10 rounds is a lot more than 6 (the 43) and 7 (the SW shield). You can easily carry it with no belt and ulti clips. Im not sure why you think that you need to put an optic, light, and stipple on it. I don' know what you have planned for this gun, lol, it is perfect for its intended use. Having a full grip, when changing mags, makes it worth the upgrade (alone). Maybe you need a 43 if you are a small person, or a 19 with a 30 round mag if you are wearing some tactical pants and plan on running into battle, but then why not a 17? This gun is certainly not a miss, it is just the right tool for a situation that you don't think you will be in.
I agree with the guy that the gun has no grip texture but to say "you have to get it stippled" is so stupid. Just buy a $20 talon grip that unlike a stipple job can be replaced when it wears down--and stipples do wear down.
sig 365 and the xl version have all of those things out the box. The 365 made the 43x obsolete until the sheild arms mags came out. How long will glock people rely on the aftermarket?
Lol, the 43x is certainly not obsolete. Also, The aftermarket is an advantage . You can easily and quickly get anything you want for them, including holsters, blue guns and air-soft replicas, and even STL files-you can print them in your home if you want, along with the mags. So, to answer your question, never; the aftermarket support (and community) is the main selling point, right behind the record of reliability. You can choose to bash whatever guns you want to justify your purchases, but I like to appreciate them all for their intended uses and unique advantages. I hated Glock for a long time, back when I didn’t know much about firearms or how to shoot. Are you going to make me choose between Honda and Toyota, next? Or perhaps between cats and dogs?
@@ryanandrews8224 is that a serious question ? You kind of gave glock a comment without even mentioning it … they have the best aftermarket support and my fav is a 320 m18
I’m about to get mine soon..the reason I chose the 43x over the 48x is because I used to carry a G19 and while I had no problems carrying it, was when I would bend down to grab something or tie my shoe lace or put on my shoes and that extra 0.5” inch would dig into my pelvic bone..I don’t have this issue with the P365 that I currently carry and will be passing it on to my girl when I get this 43x.
Interesting observation, earlier this year I have purchased a Glock 43X with Ameriglo night sights cost $445 before taxes and fees. Then I purchased a Sig P365XL and installed the Holosun HS507K and it changed my mindset about open reflex sights. Fast-forward to the beginning of August of this year and I picked up a Glock 43X MOS for $409 before taxes and fees and installed a Holosun HE507-GR for $277. I also installed a 3.5 connector cost was $24 along with added 3 Shield arms 15 round magazines. I agree with the trigger on stock Glock not being smooth. However the Double Diamond 3.5 connector made the trigger press smoother for a small price of $24. The aforementioned handguns are my off-duty concealed carry weapons, I also carry a Glock 42 since 2014. The Glock is a fine shooter for self defense. The 43X MOS is easy to conceal in beach attire compared to my full size 1911 I use to carry before 2014. I have a co-worker that owns a Staccato C that cost him $2,300 and I have shot it at the range many of times. I am considering buying one because it is a sweet shooting weapon as it should for the price of admission. I will still carry the Glock 43X MOS with the Holosun while off-duty.
43x mos is an amazing gun. Paid 480 for mine. Added a streamlight tlr6, romeo zero red dot and stuck on some grip tape. All and all sub 800 bucks. Really don't know what the issue is here. Edit on the Romeo Zero because fuck that optic. I now run a Holosun 407k, much better option with actual real glass for a lens. So total cost is like 900 bucks now. Still no biggie.
@@RJ-li2xd there's this place called 911 Rapid Response in Annville, PA. They make most of their money off the police and first responder gear they sell, so they choose to make very little money on Glocks. As a matter or fact, Glock doesn't allow them to sell their product for any lower than they sell them. After tax and all I walked out the door having paid 525 dollars for the 43x mos.
@@RJ-li2xd I have 2 Gen2 ones. Haven't had any problems with them. I do need to eventually switch out the magazine release to a metal one. Stock plastic one will eventually wear out on a steel mag.
A. talon grips are $20 and great B. romeo 0 or holosun 407k is $200 C. why would you bother replacing the irons if you buy a red dot? stock are perfectly fine as backups D. you dont need a light on a carry gun but if you feel you do a tlr6 is more than enough and is $120. im not a glock fanboy. just stating facts.
This dude is such a negative Nancy. I paid $475 for my 43x mos and did absolutely nothing to it. The pistol shoots like a dream out to 50 yards and carries very comfortably. No aftermarket sights, no optic and no light. After 10 years of concealed carrying everything from a milspec 1911 to tiny micro guns i discovered that the 43x is perfect EDC for me. Highly recommend
Just got the 43X. Because I wanted a minimalist carry gun (no light, no optic), the other stuff is on my 365X. Took it out to the range this weekend and I am blown away. The grip, size, trigger (yes the trigger is really good for a Glock), and capacity (with the S15 mags), make this the best carry handgun you can CC, in my opinion. I have carried a G26, G19, several revolvers, and the 365XL, which I honestly did not love….. we all know the 19 is the benchmark but can bet a little bit for some situations, the 43X or 43X MOS if you “think you need” all the extras to throw on your gun (please argue about carry pistol lights below), is a Glock 19 with a slightly thinner frame and shorter barrel, same capacity. Ideal.
@@CrimpKeeper you've watched too many negative youtube videos regarding this topic.... the answer to your question is because I bought the magazines and tested the gun with said magazines, all kinds of ammo, including expensive carry ammo. It works fine.

Gotta clean ur gun and mags every range day if you shoot a lot or after 500 rounds for me! I would trust my life with it.
I love my 43x so much I literally just bought the 43x MOS today and ordered an XSC light for it. I’ll be giving my wife my old 43x. I use the shield arms magazines because 15 rounds in the same size magazine is amazing.
I think it's priced well. I paid 499 out the door for my 43x. Also if you're going most and buying a red dot, then why upgrade irons? The sights on it are serviceable as a backup. You'd have to spend all that money on those things for any other glock. I don't understand his argument really.

The sig 365 is kind of shitty. I bought an XL and regretted it immediately (it does have really nice sights though). The P10S is the ultimate carry gun at this point for a full size man.
I went all in on my 43x mos, currently 1300$ invested.I’m talking, shield arm mags, grips, 507k, suppressor sights, appendix holster. I actually sold my 48 to help with expenses. I’ve shot both back to back and there is a slight difference in recoil but for a summer edc it’s perfect. I’ve caught myself sometimes not wanting to carry because of printing and how uncomfortable carrying a bigger weapon can be. The 43x is by far the most comfortable pistol I’ve carried. I have a 48 and like it a lot. But when I tried my 43 slide on it- effectively turning it into a 43X- that slide stays on it most of the time. It draws faster for ME with the shorter slide, and feels noticeably lighter IWB carry. Simple Talon grips fix the grip perfectly for me. I did add a nice trigger and TruGlo sights, Shield Arms mags and catch, but it's a daily carry and shoots great for me. In fact, it's my favorite carry ever. And I just don't feel a need for MOS in a compact carry weapon- which is good because I'd feel pissed if I did...

But you don't have to replace the factory sights on a CZ P-10 or Sig X series (among several others). In order to get your Glock trigger to be anywhere near as nice as the CZ P series, you're going to have to spend a couple hundred more bucks. Is Glock bad? Absolutely not - I'm carrying one right now. But let's not pretend that they have it all figured out.
@@dilldowschwagginz2674 Don't know what your point was in relation to my initial response to this video, especially saying "let's not pretend Glock's got it all figured out." I never bother writing comments but damn... Lets see: 1) its expensive to mod a pistol and optics and lights are expensive (this doesn't mean anything for this model vs. another) 2) new models come out and one wishes one owned that model over their owned model Dude can't based on this video really run a gun as it is. I love the g43x, perfect carry gun especially with 15 rd mags. You know what’s funny? I carried a Glock with the stock sights for years and did competition with that gun. I shot a guy with that gun and the one thing I can tell you is I never saw the sights during that shooting.
You don't aim like you're at the shooting range in a confrontation. It's point n shoot at a close range. A gun is a tool...buy one, get familiar with it and stick with it.
Yea but just because it worked once doesn’t mean I’d risk my life to them. They do not work at night, and the biggest point is that they’re shitty plastic. If you drop you gun when the time comes you can sheer them straight off. If you’re in an actual gunfight with someone else shooting back who isn’t 5 feet away you’re going to want to aim. I was a LEO firearms instructor back in the 70's, 80's and 90's. Mostly carried a Colt 1911, until the county bought us Glocks. I didn't want to switch but had to. Once I switched I was and still am a solid Glock guy. Just picked up a 43x MOS and love it for concealed carry. I chose the Romeo Zero to mount on it. The stock sights co-witness fairly well but could be a touch taller. I did have to shorten the Romeo Zero supplied mounting screws a touch with a small file.
I picked up my 43x mos today and took it to the range. It fired flawlessly and felt great to me. Well, it's a Glock so that's what I expected. All stock for now. Was easy to handle and of course spot on in the accuracy department. I love it! It's going to be my ccw so I wanted something small but not too small. I feel like I made a great choice. Can't really go wrong with a Glock! Reliability is paramount to me and if anyone says otherwise about it, they're lying!
"The gun is bad because if you buy a $600 optic it becomes more expensive." Good thing Glocks are the only pistols that need optics and lights right? Is he saying he can shoot at night with his Gucci 1911 without a flashlight??
The most profound comment in this entire video is that there are better people to listen to. I thought I was listening to a whiny 15 year old. I just wasted 17 minutes of my life that I won't be able to get back. On the bright side, I now know to skip over videos from 1911 syndicate.
I purchased the 48 as a slim alternative for the 19, for my girlfriend. It's a nice firearm. The 43X made no sense to me until Shield came out with the 15 round mag. But once that was out, the 43X became a good option. I'm still not sure it fits into the "micro-compact" category, but you won't find anything smaller that can hold 15+1. I prefer the 365 or 365XL, but have no problem carrying a stock 43X with the Shield mag.
None of these upgrades have to be done. I bought a set of night sights and I am good with that. The G43x MOS shoots great, carry’s great, and feels great. I’ve shot the G48 as well and did not notice a difference. They both shoot better than the Gen1 Shield 9 that I had. That’s been my experience at least.
43x mos with a Holosun 407k and a streamlight tlr-7sub and a holster plus some shield mags is like a grand at most. In fact i Just picked up a 43x mos for $475, a TLR-7 sub for $125, and a Holosun 407K for $175. Add a T1C axis elite holster for 150, some shield arms mags and a shield arms mag release and you’re at around a grand. For a complete setup with a decent optic, decent light, 15 round mags and a top tier concealed carry holster, that’s not too bad.
Glocks are the Honda’s of the gun world. They run for life and have an obscene aftermarket to support every customization you could want. IMO they don’t add much to their design bc so many people want to do their own thing with them. In that sense it is indeed the “perfect” platform. For the record, I also really like the S&W 2.0 4 and 3.6” 😉😎💯🎄
Mine sits in a drawer. Once I switched to carrying appendix a full sized 17 or even 34 with an RMR and light is completely comfortable and concealable.
I ran sig p229, p365, hellcat, kimber Micro9, lc9, and finally when the glock 43x came out hands down best concealed carry out of all of those i have big hands im 6.2. 230lbs and it feels as comfortable as my g17 when shooting since its the gun that I depend on saving me, my family, or any other random act a violance I made sure it handle and shoots just as good as my glock 17. First day I bought it I shot 500 rounds not one jam ftf or any shooting problems I stomped it, threw, shot it and 2 years later still carry it every day while pouring concrete setting forms driving, it goes where I go its a part of my every day items knife, wallet, keys, stack of cash, and now 43x my opinion only problems so far a the cheap sights front one is chewed up rear site is slid to the left I don't use them any ways I run it with hand eye and I hit center mass up to 15 or closer every shot running a gun corse sorry for long comment on your video but if someone is looking for information on this gun you went about it in a way that angerd me
Gun- $580 Holosun 507k- $300 C&H mounting plate- $70 Stock trigger polish- $0 Stippling- $200 That's $1150 to have a perfectly workable and reliable carry gun with an optic which is not bad considering that you could go without the stippling if budget is an issue and then you're under $1000. If you want back up iron sights add another $100 but again not absolutely necessary. You were trying way too hard to inflate your build cost just to make a nonexistent point. It's also still priced competitively against other similar pistols on the market. If you don't like the way it shoots that is a different story and I agree the 48 is the way to go but your whole rant on price was just ridiculous.
Longer barrels easier to conceal? Needing a top of the line light and red dot sight and professional stippling to shoot a sub-compact? Complaining about capacity while reviewing the smallest gun to hold 15 rounds of ammunition? Comparing it's performance to guns in a separate category rather than the likes of a Shield or a PPS? This was good for a laugh though, thanks ^^
That’s about what YTber Talon Sei sold his special 43x though Danger Close Armament for $1599 w/o optic & $1999 w/ Shield RMSc. I agree with someone else here that might as well get an STI/Staccato. But anything now is going to be ridiculous
I have 5k through the 43x and 1k thorough the 48. I honestly can’t tell a difference between the two when it comes to recoil. A good stippled job is absolutely necessary to run the gun to its full potential. And I don’t recommend the shield mags. Mine have been terrible.
I dont understand your argument. You say it's an expensive gun when you add a light and rmr, and then compare it it to your 1911 without a light or rmr

He's saying that, in order to make the G43x MOS a decent carry pistol, you have to spend big bucks. Most other guns in its price class at least come with decent sights, often tritium sights. Compare a small Glock with a P365.

He may also be unaware of cheaper accessories (such as lights) that would fit the G43x MOS's non-standard rail.
I got my 43x mos for $577 put on a $300 sight on it put on a $150 light and got a stippled grip for $85 that’s $1112 a Glock 19 is around $599 depending on where you live and what store you buy from. And guess what chances are you are going to do each one of this upgrades as well. And I’ve never had a problem with my 43x mos never once had slide lock and I’ve put well over 1000 rounds thru it and it’s far more comfortable to carry than my 19 and my canik although my canik tp9 elite sc is my favorite concealed gun my 43x is definitely more comfortable and in my top 5 favorites.
I have a Shield 1.0 with a KKM barrel, TT +2 base plates and night sights. My gun shop laser cut grip to balance it. Hit a chicken sized/shaped silhouette at 100 yards with 147gr ball ammo. If we ever get carry in Hawai’i that’s my carry gun or my P-10C
So many things wrong with this video. For starters, a 43X is not a $2,500 gun. You do not need a $200 stipple job. If you honestly cannot handle a 9mm in that it is excessively snappy and require a mechanical aid, then you need to go and actually train with a pistol. Second, the S15 Shield Arms mags are pure garbage. Forums are full of threads about them causing problems. Probably not the smart choice for carry, but I assume Shield Arms sponsored this video, so there's that. The RMR, while I get the intent, it's just the latest fad all the cool kids on TH-cam are doing. Speaking of which this video was literally so bad it made me scroll up and check if I wasn't back on youtube again, the land and home of the blind leading the blind. And I was.
I got a couple regular 43x’s that shoot pretty good. I bought them after my P365’s started destroying themselves... too bad I really like the 365, but I lost all faith in them. As it stands now I would take a G48MOS any day over the 43XMOS. And I would take the 365 XL over the regular 365.
i agree, p365xl is the one to rule them all, but why the 48 over the 43x? i think the 43x is nicer looking and a smaller package while retaining same size full grip for 15 round mags. felt a 48 at my lgs recently and it felt nice, just trying to see the real world benefit over a 43x
@@anonypersona3189 As I approached 500-600 rounds both my P365’s were showing greatly accelerated internal parts wear, striker/firing pins especially, and then the extractor stopped extracting on both of them. @@brighthought11 The only real advantage the 43X has over the 48 is that conceals better for off body carry. From appendix you’ll never notice a difference. I just bought the 43X $435, and added the holisun 507 $245, and purchased the OT defense stipple kit for $200, and added the TLR7 light $225, a new tyrant trigger for $80, C&H adapter plate $77, and a mag well for $70. I didn’t warp my frame either and it was my stipple job. Disclaimer: I didn’t just open the stipple kit and start stippling. I had taken at least 2 weeks to try every bit in the kit on multiple pieces of plastic that I had in my kit, plus whatever I could find around my shop. I tried making designs, or combining tips to blend in tips over lays etc, just to see what it would be like. So, I recommend watching a lot of video’s first to get some direction, and then practice first. My stipple job came out exactly what I wanted and looks very nice, even when you turn the gun around. So, I did make an investment in this gun, and quite honestly it came to be what I expected. If anyone tells you that you have a good gun and it only costed you $400,…..it’s not that good! Trust me, you will do something to it. If you don’t want to spend the extra money, it’s not a bad gun at all for the money compared to the Hellcat or 365.
Check GTdistributors and keep an eye on it when it becomes available. I ordered a G17 gen 5 from them a while back and they shipped it to my FFL of choice fast.
@@vinh1360 I've been trying to get this gun for almost 6 months. Every single place that has this model online at the $485 price tag sells out in seconds after making them available for purchase. I say this because I've added this gun to my cart so many times only to receive an out of stock at checkout. It sucks. I'm not blue label so that's another reason that makes it even more difficult to get myself one. About 3 months ago I placed a backorder with GT and I'm still waiting... Yesterday I was alerted via email, KY Gun had the G43X MOS back in stock and I was lucky enough to get myself one for the whopping $620 price tag no sales tax and free shipping, ended up costing $90 more than if I'd have purchased at my local GT Distributors after sales taxes. I'm OK with that. Now I'm just counting the days for this gun to finally arrive at my FFL. I already own a 507K with big buttons since early September. Been waiting Glock Store to fulfill my backorder on 3 S15 mags since early September as well... Today I ended up purchasing 2 S15 mags directly from Shield Arms. Customer service tells me they usually fulfill them in 3 to 4 weeks up but it can take up to 60 days. Tough times to buy anything online, from firearms, ammunition to video games and graphic cards. 2020 has been such a shit year.
The aggression is wooooow! I carry the non mos 43x with some night sights. Talon grips so you don’t have to stipple at all. It fits in my outer vest holster. The 48 doesn’t fit, that extra little length digs into my rib. I qualify with the 43x fine. My duty pistol is a Springfield trp. It has a lot of character marks but it’s the ultimate smoke wagon. I carry 79rounds on me. 8 round plus 1 in the gun and 7 10 rounders. Just my opinion sir. You do have a great channel.
I saw one of these for 409 but I have a g42 and kinda happy with that due to the fact that I upgraded everything from sights to the base plate to hold more rounds but the g43x is cool but I’m still not sure
So you're complaining about the cost of putting a red dot and light on it (which anyone who wants those will put them on any platform regardless). Those aren't necessary. As others have pointed out, you can put talon grips on it for very little cost. And please don't compare it to your 48. Completely different pistol.

You know for someone that's looking for an objective review on a firearm I don't think this is the channel for that. I just want somebody to show me how it shoots, the trigger and reset or any malfunctions occuring while testing. I don't want to hear complaints about how the company releases models or things you CAN add to the gun. It's just objectively wrong to suggest a bigger grip doesn't fit for concealed carry because it depends on where you carry. These are things to mention and consider instead of just thinking about yourself in the video but then again this is why you only have 800 comments on a video that's a year old.

Apparently the Romeo Zero is among the optics that fit without an adapter plate. It has a nice profile. As usual with Glocks, mounting screws are an issue. If they're too long, they'll interfere with the slide's operation.

Other than that I like the trigger even compared to some other very nice guns that I have shot (I started with a P228 and a tricked out 1911 an instructor had at the range I would go to where they rented out guns). Long story short is the Glock isn't the problem...if you put in the time to practice youd presentation you will probably do just fine especially at the distances that a self defense situation might happen inside of. The best part is the gun will work.

Tacticool review
Just buy a $20 talon grip that unlike a stipple job can be replaced when it wears down--and stipples do wear down.
they have steel mags flush fit 15 rounds. base plate 20
sig 365 and the xl version have all of those things out the box.

I’m about to get mine soon..the reason I chose the 43x over the 48x is because I used to carry a G19 and while I had no problems carrying it, was when I would bend down to grab something or tie my shoe lace or put on my shoes and that extra 0.5” inch would dig into my pelvic bone..I don’t have this issue with the P365 that I currently carry and will be passing it on to my girl when I get this 43x.

Mines great as well.. I can only have the 10 round mags😭😭

Ideal.

Homie really tried hard to dump on the 43x. LOL
The 43 MOS is an excellent pistol. It's a perfect size and with the 15 round mag it's a winner
Saying this gun is a big miss is like those idiots who said the Ipad was a miss by apple. Gotta love it.
In Alaska paid 550 for a G48 fde new at the store, RMRCC for 540. Love it
nice congrats. im waiting till a 43x/48 mos is available, lgs had a 48 for 550 no mos or night sights, what did rhey pay? 400?

Manufacturers want you to buy everything they make. Their goal is to obsolete what you just bought. Started doing it about 100 years ago. Surprise.
I never bother writing comments but damn... Lets see: 1) its expensive to mod a pistol and optics and lights are expensive (this doesn't mean anything for this model vs. another) 2) new models come out and one wishes one owned that model over their owned model
Dude can't based on this video really run a gun as it is. I love the g43x, perfect carry gun especially with 15 rd mags. I don't have a womanly grip, and think the snap is not existent on this (especially coming from the too small g43). 43x and 48 have the exact same frame... same grip, same "slip and slide". Whatever floats your boat I guess.
Everyone wants to be tacticool instead of practical.
It’s a $70 upgrade, it’s not a big deal
@@americanmade3970 sometimes it is and sometimes it isn’t. Depends on your level of training, I know plenty of people who got to their sights in a gun fight. Also people who didn’t, there’s no hard fast rule. But I do know this, people who are against red dots for the sake of being stubborn and know it all, are people who have never had a red dot on their handgun. I can shoot the dime out of a bullseye at 25 all day with a RMR. I shoot better with it, so I’m going to use it. 10 years from now people are going to look at people talking shit on red dots on pistols the same as people who talk about running irons on rifles

So let me get this straight.... you're reviewing a Glock when you don't even know what the "M" in "MOS" stands for?
Your entitled to your opinion. I have the 43x standard model and I love it! I think it’s a fantastic edc gun. Cheers from Texas.
What? No AC with this car? Oh! It's extra for this, it's extra for that........Stop complaining! Everything in this life is just like that!
I love the way my Glock 43x shoots. Its main purpose is to be concealed!
"The gun is bad because if you buy a $600 optic it becomes more expensive." Good thing Glocks are the only pistols that need optics and lights right? Is he saying he can shoot at night with his Gucci 1911 without a flashlight??
When it came out it was around 450ish. Price when up $100 due to the 2A scare.
The Hellcat holds 15 now with a stock mag. It's 2022.
You can put a 48 slide on the same frame
I watched an interview last week of a man who has gone from Master to grand master in the past 6 months....using a G26 with optics
:)
All I learned from this video is that Jake is not a good marksman
I’ve never heard someone cry so much about a gun, Jesus my guy the wambulance is on the way
I really like my 43X. I think this guy needed a hug that day. Come on little buddy, bring it in.
First day I bought it I shot 500 rounds not one jam ftf or any shooting problems I stomped it, threw, shot it and 2 years later still carry it every day while pouring concrete setting forms driving, it goes where I go its a part of my every day items knife, wallet, keys, stack of cash, and now 43x my opinion only problems so far a the cheap sights front one is chewed up rear site is slid to the left I don't use them any ways I run it with hand eye and I hit center mass up to 15 or closer every shot running a gun corse sorry for long comment on your video but if someone is looking for information on this gun you went about it in a way that angerd me
Gun- $580
Holosun 507k- $300
C&H mounting plate- $70
Stock trigger polish- $0
Stippling- $200
That's $1150 to have a perfectly workable and reliable carry gun with an optic which is not bad considering that you could go without the stippling if budget is an issue and then you're under $1000.
This review is such a joke lol
Don't be so salty that your buddy waited and bought the gun you wanted.
That’s about what YTber Talon Sei sold his special 43x though Danger Close Armament for $1599 w/o optic & $1999 w/ Shield RMSc. I agree with someone else here that might as well get an STI/Staccato. But anything now is going to be ridiculous
2 years later and it's the best selling gun on the market....
Literally the only “reviewer” I’ve seen that doesn’t love the X
Romeo zero and tlr 7 sub w s15 mags + the 43x was less than 800 total
I have 5k through the 43x and 1k thorough the 48. I honestly can’t tell a difference between the two when it comes to recoil. A good stippled job is absolutely necessary to run the gun to its full potential. And I don’t recommend the shield mags. Mine have been terrible.
Hey to each their own
@@1911syndicate of course man. Gotta find what works for you. Just reporting my findings 👊🏻
What’s wrong with your shield mags?

I love when Jakes running hot! Makes my day!
M&P shield 1.0 apex trigger and 2+ mag extension making it 10+1 for the pre panicdemic budget edc win!
M&p shield set the bar years ago. There's been lots of offerings since that are enticing, but none good enough to make me change.
If you think a 43x is "snappy", maybe that's a YOU problem. Maybe work on getting some calluses on those pretty little hands
I love this guy's sarcasm.
What sarcasm?????
How were the 365's self-destructing?
i agree, p365xl is the one to rule them all, but why the 48 over the 43x? i think the 43x is nicer looking and a smaller package while retaining same size full grip for 15 round mags. felt a 48 at my lgs recently and it felt nice, just trying to see the real world benefit over a 43x
@@anonypersona3189 As I approached 500-600 rounds both my P365’s were showing greatly accelerated internal parts wear, striker/firing pins especially, and then the extractor stopped extracting on both of them. Could not get through a magazine without one or two failures. Too bad, really liked the pistol.
In other words my experience is almost identical to the military arms channel.
@@brighthought11 The only real advantage the 43X has over the 48 is that conceals better for off body carry. From appendix you’ll never notice a difference. The longer sight radius and reduced recoil of the 48 are the two biggest advantages. That said... my EDC is a 43X, my wife also. I sold my old model G 48 in anticipation of getting a G 48 MOS, and now they are as scarce as hens teeth.

@@vinh1360 I've been trying to get this gun for almost 6 months. Every single place that has this model online at the $485 price tag sells out in seconds after making them available for purchase.
