I understand that feeling. A very well written animated origin story. The good thing is Jinx as a fictional character is what you want her to be. She can be that bubbly girl from earlier cinematics or she can be beaten girl from the TV show. And the fact you want to give her a hug says something good about you. The good thing is that that character is a fictional one, but she is so well written that we feel she is real.
When you play tabletop role playing games, you can take a Battletech tabletop game about giant robot combat and mix it with Conan the barbarian tabletop game and create your own adventure. You can make Conan to be whatever you want to be, and you can make him a pilot of a giant robot. In role playing you can create your own house rules.
Normally RPG games have their own lore, but you can change it when playing at home. In the same fashion, in a multiplayer online game, you can change Jinx to be what you want her to be. You can imagine she is that cheerful bubbly girl next door who has a group of friends from alternate universes.
The TV show must have been influenced by the European origin of the animation. Europe not so long ago had a devastating war, and that shows in the initial bridge scene. Europe also had moments of extreme filthy poverty and that shows up in how Zaun is presented. And it had Marie Antoinette luxury which seems to have been attacked by Jinx Fishbones in episode 9. If you see anime, you see some similar past influences. The original Godzilla was a symbol of nuclear radioactivity, hunting down and killing those who it crosses paths with, like a monster terminator. Radiation generates strong feelings among Japanese as it is part of Japan's past. And from radioactive monsters they moved to giant anime mecha. So Jinx history as portrayed shows more the background cultural influence of those who wrote the story.
I am just happy you want to give her a hug, as you are capable of loving people. The good news is that she is a fictional character, so the suffering had dramatic purposes, like a modern theatrical play in a French theater.

I was lucky enough to start playing LoL, when Jinx was free to play. She was the first champion I've bought. I am emotionally attached to her. Always my favourite! :)

Yeah the creative direction / design, lore and marketing team at League are a bunch of geniuses that should be basically given a swimming pool of money every year for how they have progressed the brand. I have never played this game in my life but have been following the visual releases on youtube for years and was obviously knocked the f out by Arcane. . This is not normal. No one else has succeeded like this regardless of whether they had more money or not.

League already had lore before arcane, and not just piltover and Zaun but also Ionia, Noxus, demacia, targon, shurima, freljord, etc.

hi this is me from the present, i don't know why yall cared too much about this comment but let me assure you that this is me from 6 years ago, and i am very well aware about the rune tera's lore ever since. Especially Vi and Jinx (but mostly Jinx) because i main them. I already know that Vi is Jinx's "crazy sister" because i was so obsessed by them that i found threads after threads of lore on the internet. I never bothered to come back to this comment because its stupid lmaoo. Someone said that i probably feel stupid now knowing that Arcane is out on netflix (and pretty much confirmed everything) and i don't, but probably my 6 years ago self will be.

***** I would upgrade attack speed alongside AD and critical chance. However, she doesn't need AS until later on as increases AS by default, allowing for better items for damage, critical chance and movement speed.
Not sure how that's bad, with ad, crit and attack speed, I can 3 shot all champs not stacking armour, and if I am up against a tank, my last item I buy is last whisper as the 35% armour pen is good enough to take them down pretty quickly, just keep your distance as you have little to no escapability

Christ almighty she is so overly powerful in this series proving lethal at both long and close ranges. The way she spin kicks an ariel opponent she had just dodged before face mashing him with her machine gun in the Misty Hexcore Firelights Battle scene ep 6 was some next level s***. She is ingenious and deadly far beyond the original imaginings of her character by the producers of lOl.

i still remember when Jinx first came out on LoL i stopped playing that time because of work and other commitment but after watching Arcane (MASTERPIECE) I started playing LoL again, LoL wild rift this time

Here's one thing I feel they should have mentioned. Jinx was actually my first champion, and I still do not have Flash so I opt for Heal as a summoner spell. It lets Jinx stay in fight for longer and help her get kills she otherwise wouldn't earn. Additionally with how low her base health is, Heal actually recovers a good 30-35% of her health.
Wrong... At least imo... Flash helps her kite, chase, escape. She would be able to flash-kill a champion then utilize her passive to escape any sticky situation. Or just flash out of a battle... Heal wouldn't do much for Jinx considering Heal doesn't give much health on its own
MobsterPigs Compared to Jinx's health bar it does, a little over 1/4 of it. And even then, I stated that I don't have Flash yet (Literally just hit 12 yesterday. I level slow, mkay?) I literally never remember when I have flare and, to be fair, any kill you can chase down with Flash can be chased down by her Super Mega Death Rocket.
ljaquos I play League a lot. I own Jinx. Im lvl 30... But none of that matters does it... Your lvl 12. You do not own flash. So you wouldn't know if heal is better than flash
I just got Flash. I now run Flash and Heal. Lol. I dun give a shit Cuz it let's her eat a tower shot. It suits my play style better
ljaquos Barrier is usually better. The "artificial health"(the shield) you get from it is more that heal, it has shorter cooldown and doesn't give half the amount when ignited(still kinda countered by ignite though). I suggest you try it instead of heal. :)
Note: This is my first time doing anything like this! This is not a serious idea, just something i thought people may enjoy :D
Jinx ult rework idea: ( Not saying it needs one but this would be a cool idea ^.^ )
Her ult will be affected by what mode her q is on, mini gun or rocket launcher.
So for Pow-Pow (the mini gun) the ult has a 20 --> 25 --> 30 sec timer and you can shoot out a certain number of bullets at a super fast rate dealing damage per hit. The set amount of ammo would increase with each time you upgrade the ability as well as the time-limit or the attack speed. Range would be about the same or less than the culling (Lucian's ult)
For fish bones (the rocket launcher) the ult would remain the same as her current ult OR she could have a set amount of ammo such as 3 with each one doing less damage than her original ult. Leveling up the ability would increase the rate at which she can fire these missiles/rockets or increase the amount of ammo she could have)
