    Wow. Pretty ingenious design! How about taking it to the next level? Ought to get a patent (i.e. variable anchor point combinations -- band lengths and angles --create unique muscle resistance power curves. Esp would like to try your narrow grip bar curls!) After the patent, go to Alibaba and find a factory to produce your setup. I'd be a buyer. Also, while you're dealing with a producer, find one for those bands. Innstar replacement bands are pretty expensive at about $40 a pop for a set of two. Need heavier resistance than its limit of 33lbs (corresponding to gym plate weight standards would be ideal).

      Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it. I can't even get some of the Innstar bands right now, the supply side of the market is obviously hindered. They are a little pricey. but I really like the safety factor with the sleeves. The bands in my videos using the portable platform are a little closer to what you're describing as far as being heavier and more predictable in resistance.They are excellent for back and legs.

    This is amazing! I love seeing people build thing themselves instead of relying on scammers on amazon who use cheap super factories in china and simply import that stuff into our country and slap their stupid logo on it and jack up the price and list it for sale online. This is what we all should be doing thank you for making this video!

    pretty handy set up you have there. good stuff. I am wanting to start to work out with some resistance bands here at home, I am going to try and attempt to build a good workout area. we will see how that comes a long. lol

    Do you think this is more into toning rather than building mass? I mean compared to free weights?

      In my humble opinion...
      How challenged your muscles are on a regular basis, no matter what causes the resistance, will determine how "toned" or, hypertrophied vs. atrophied they are.
      The degree of the muscles' state of development depends on the intensity and frequency of the training overload placed on them.
      Equally important is the quality, quantity and timing of rest and nutrition between bouts.
      Can the above average person build an equally impressive musculature with bands as with free weights?
      If a well designed, intense, consistent training and recovery protocol is employed, I absolutely believe so.
      (Edit: Don't get me wrong, I love and highly encourage the use of free weights, but under present circumstances, I'm 100% happy with the band system that I'm devising and using.)
