I had never heard of TSW until TH-camr Joana Ceddia shared her experience in a video. I find it incredibly negligent that these steroid creams are still prescribed to people with eczema without informing them of the possibility of incredibly painful and debilitating withdrawal. I suffer from chronic recurrent seborrhoeic eczema, but it only affects my scalp and ears when it breaks out. The idea that this eczema could break out all over my skin is almost panic attack inducing. I wish you a lot of strength for this incredibly stressful and painful time and I hope that you can completely conquer TSW very soon!

🥺I used to have TSW from having eczema and psoriasis. I completely understand how you feel and I’m so sorry it hurts so bad. My mom found you and was opening up to me about how much she used to hurt and be so scared because she thought going through TSW would literally kill me. She decided to go holistic when I was 12 after dealing with doctors since I was 2, because she hated how the doctors literally weren’t helping me. I would love to share remedies with you if you’re even looking for any! 😩 above all I just truly pray your mental truly only grows stronger. TSW can make you a shell of who you are but seeing you achieve traveling and being able to eat freely is a blessing. I have really bad food and seasonal allergies (they were worse and More extensive), so I literally didn’t get to eat much and going outside was hell. Whether sweating from running around causing itching, 🙃I was allergic to turf at the time, or just having to stay in because of the season changing and the heat/cold.
Really hope you find what works for you. I feel you deeply and personally. And I’m super proud of you because you’re doing this “alone” as an adult 😭💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

5:32 ME TOO! I would be homeless if it wasn't for my sister covering the rent for 2 YEARS until I got approved for disability. And my aunt for giving us great rent in a time of brutal inflation.
I have said it once, I'll say it 1000 times... I could NOT do this without my family!! The guidance and support of my sisters!!!!!
I don't know how anyone does this alone... going through medical turmoil. If anyone out there IS doing it alone, they need to know they are the strongest-willed people on the earth!! If souls had a bench press competition, they'd be benching 1000 lbs for sure!! 💪

I’ve experienced eczema throughout my life but not to this degree. I too would never wish that upon anyone… I can imagine that was hell for you. I’m glad you have/will experience some level of recovery.
I have used hydrocortisone but thankfullyyyy I was warned about the steroid from the start and used it sparingly (just when desperately needed). The only thing that has truly helped me keep eczema at bay is cutting out most desserts/sugars (not including fruit) and processed snacks. My doctor doesn’t understand the correlation of course. It’s a pattern I’ve noticed with my own body and I wonder if this could help anyone out there.
Love your share and I see your resilience 💪

I hope you see this, I’m going to pray for you. There is a book called The Perricone Prescription. He is a dermatologist who also uses supplements to help you heal.
The book is old, but good. Doctors weren’t even aware that fish oil was beneficial at that time. I went through it taking oral steroids for years and I mess never told of the side effects. It wasn’t until my skin thinned that the doctor took me off. I am so grateful that I have found healing, it started when I was 14 and I struggled with it until I was 30.

i have atopic dermatitis and i was on corticoides since i was a baby, nothing helped, i was getting worse, my skin had infections and i went to so many doctors with wrong diagnosis just making it worse. until i found a good dermatologist, he took the corticoids out, he told me to not apply anything for a week and let my skin heal (it was painful tho) and then gave me three to four different lotions to apply and he found, by a simple blood work that any doctor i went to before could've done, that my eczema was triggered by severe allergies. Back then i wish i had content like this to educate myself and feel like i could still have hope.
I'm 21 years old and 80% of my whole skin is normal, sometimes i get breaks here and there but it doesn't tear, it doesn't hurt, i can move, i can wear clothes, i can finally wear clothes for winter. I hope you heal, sending you all the love ❤

However, my doctor prescribed something that is typically given to soldiers returning from war and then for no more than two weeks at a time. Ik this condition is different but I had really bad eczema growing up and I hope they still sell this shit bc after a few months of using I never had eczema again. It’s neosporain eczema line! It has body wash cream itch cream etc. I just used the lotion and itch cream which was the best! And I used everything even had steroid cream and it just didn’t work for me. It hurts to know ppl struggle with this! And if u get your hands on it plz try it out!!! Bc it changed my life! And I really think it could be if it you!!!

If you got a strong one, they have stages, you prob shouldve been given info on the risks but there also should be protocol for stopping…

I left Africa in 2007 and moved to the UK, few months later I had eczema and my doctor prescribed a topical steroid cream, I could never come off it for even a day my face was unbearable to see or to feel myself too ichy and horrible, I have tried to heal myself natural I couldn't,
Struggled all these years, but to the shocking I started low cab diet and 2 days water fasting weekly for 3 months and OMAD there after, my body cleared and perfectly healed, guys it's a miracle and all took me 4 months to achieve this and I was still using the steroids to continue my daily routine as I could not step outside without it,
I only went on diet to look well, I was not fat or ill and that's the suprise I have got on my birthday Xmas day
Hope you will heal soon as well
Please anyone being trying the withdrawal consider to change your diet and fast fast fast good luck my community ❤️

Not everybody gets TSW. It is still unknown why only some people develop TSW, however, it is a known condition that gets taught in medical school by now. Sadly, there's not many studies done, research into TSW is still in its infancy :(

@@fuchsfarben it just seems like an autoimmune reaction. Thank you Jada for sharing your story so publicly. You are setting a wonderful example for young people showing that a person can overcome life-altering hard times and while in the midst of it become a stronger person filled with gratitude and the desire to help others. Bravo young lady you are beautiful inside and out, I know your parents must be so very proud of you!
I am a caregiver to a gentleman going through TSW. The suffering is absolutely heart breaking! Doctors didn't understand that it was TSW and prescribed five days of oral prednisone three different times. After the 3rd time of the 5 day dose of prednisone the rash spread to more than 75% of his body. I am so thankful to all the gracious caring people like you who have humbled themselves to share their very personal stories helping others suffering with TSW. I have been documenting everything and I can see that a flare up occurs after eating any processed foods with dyes and preservative especially sulfites, also gluten, peanuts, bananas, too much citrus and tomatoes. If a flare up is coming on take activated charcoal drinking plenty of water all day to flush your system of toxins. I have found that ghee with tumeric in it can stop the itch in less than five minutes. It is like a miracle!! The brand is 4th & Heart with tumeric you can get it on Amazon. This brand is a more creamy consistency, but you can use any brand. Appy as much as necessary, but at least 2x's a day. I read that since it comes from a mammal and we are mammals it is better for our skin. Ghee contains the good omega 3 oil so cook with it too. Went cold turkey beginning of 11/22 and he is healing so much more guickly than the stories I have seen on TH-cam. As long as he eats clean unprocessed food and moisturizes daily with ghee, showering only every other day, he hasn't had a flare up. Praise God for the answer to my prayers!!
