Great video 👍 soak the engine in “mystery fluid” and see if it unlocks , and you get it running . It would be good video to watch 😀 . If the engine is going to be scraped would be good to see it taken apart to see what’s wrecked inside . Your videos are always new and interesting . Thank you
Let’s get it running and painted up! Can’t wait to see the transition! It will definitely make someone a nice little loader, Keep up the great videos Clint, love them!
I suspect you would also like to see this machine brought back to life for reasons other than profit. Old machinery, motorcycles, cars, pickups coming back to life has a special satisfaction not everyone understands. This looks like a multi-part project that would be great to watch. If you eventually make a happy dollar, all the better! 🚜
Hi from uk guys 👋👍 clint, kevin and dad got this loaded without a problem and hope dads liability up to date as 6:15 liability claim 🕵😂😂 cant believe you guys got us again 😂 great stuff tho guys 👌 cant wait to see outcome of her and I love the sound of your service truck and trailer haulers engine brake 👍 thanks for your time guys be safe and see you soon👍👋
Thanks Clint I love the video can't wait to take on this project with you your videos there's never a dull moment. I'm a retired Excavating contractor my favorite machine is that for 10 rubber-tired backhoe I always considered mine like a Swiss Army knife there is nothing cannot do it might take longer and it might not be the easiest way . but you can count on getting it done. Skilled operator of a TLB are thing of the past, your dad made it look so easy. I retired in 2017 and I very much enjoy your and DP videos it's like working again which I enjoyed very much thanks all )-[@#=]
Clint, love your videos. Lots of variety from working on the auction equipment, building a camper, rebuilding Dirt Perfect's trailer and now resurrecting a "it ran when it was parked 10 years ago track loader". I know you guys will get it going. This one almost was a "will it start" video lol.
Trailer looks BRAND NEW ! Agree with "innertubemac" about mystery fluid. Personally just used two quarts Marvel Mystery Oil soaking motorcycle fuel tank on 1981 Honda 750K . It's been sitting unused for past eleven years. Fuel that I pumped out of the tank was green !!!! Talk about OLD & PUTRID. Marvel Mystery Oil = GREAT STUFF. JimInCincy
Thank you for trying to save her. Meany a old times with the 450-C JD. By my home growing up, the sewer main line guys always had a 450 JD with the backhoe on back. NO hoepack's They would use them on backfill. They had the Backhoe on rear, just not use it. Lots of jobs around my home they used crawler Loader's for backfill. And running Pea gravel. I did lots of mainline sewers through easement. No road built yet. So to muddy for wheel loader use. The Front Loader that was the Fastest for running those long runs for Pea gravel was the old CASE 850-B we had. That Loader with the power track ( high forward on one lever low back on other lever) the job supervisor liked the speed of Case track loaders. We had International's 125s no CATS, the company RENTED lots of machine from CASE.
Hopefully that engine lockup is simply fluid in the cylinder and nothing bent. You guys work great as a team - "not your first rodeo". Looks like fun for all us watchers. Thanks for sharing!
Nice video, Clint. can't wait to see her fire up and loading dirt. i wish i came across a track loader like that in my area. that would be nice, great video guy's.
Excellent video, but you be nice to your daddy!!! I think of my father everyday, and would give anything and everything for one more chance to tell him how much I appreciate everything he did for us!!! Take care Mr C&C!!!
She be a little jem you have there ( money pit) jem same thing lol ..can't wait to see this old girl run again ..Great work as always guys .. Peace n love from Cumbria UK 🇬🇧 ❤
My homeboy Larry has had a 450C for years. Without any warning one of the connecting rods tried to escape through the engine block. He bought another one for the engine and ended up fixing up the second one instead. They’re very versatile and easy to transport. If you get this one running and put serviceable undercarriage on it you should have no trouble selling it - especially with the 4 in 1 bucket. Keep us posted. 👍
Cosmetically it looks nice! Not as nice as my 1984 450D with a 6 way but nice! LOL I bet when you get done with it ,it will look a lot better than mine! Nice job!
I'm the type of guy who likes to work on old stuff and get see if it will run. The things I work on are a lot smaller and cheaper. Hope you can get it running and, if not, you always can part it out. Always enjoy your videos.
Excellent video Clint!! Two thoughts, I like the idea of getting the engine running and maybe some other minor repairs before selling "as is". Seems like it would be a good project machine for someone who has the skills and time to put the finishing touches on it. My second thought would be to have a local school take it on as a repair/restore project. Could help some choose a career in mechanics or other related field. Please keep the videos coming!!
Another project you can never get enough of them :P I have alot of project to and its good to have a few. Think i saw another video on the channel but think it was a 445G
Stuck motor is a key challenge but more than once clever guys have got such rigs running. Until that is resolved seems like its just a pile of yellow iron. Love to see it run!
Another demonstration of the C&C precision team at work! at the 14:08 time stamp, Kevin dropped a 10' chain in the grass. With the hectic pace, I wondered if he picked it up before you left? He probably did but I wondered. Thanks Clinton for another fun video.
I agree with another post that maybe you should try some Marvel Mystery Oil and put into each cylinder and let sit for a couple of days. I helped a friend a few years ago load the exact model of loader and its engine was locked up tighter than a kid who ate a jar of peanut butter. It took a few hits with the starter and the engine eventually broke loose and started. It has been running ever since. There is something definitely good about mystery oil since I have seen people do some wacky things over the years with it to get engines running again. It’s worth a try and may save a lot of time, labor and expense of parts.
It ran when I parked it there, famous words of a BS story LOL. Sometimes there truthful though I haven't watched the video yet but I'm sure you're going to tell us as you're really good with that stuff Clint. Your damn good mechanic and so love you Dad and just how he is he reminds me a lot of my grandfather
Nice looking old John Deere 455E. I would like to see you fix it up and get it running again. I understand can't put more into it than it's worth. Make somebody a nice machine around the farm.
Great video Clint. Everybody likes them old equipment ,they don’t build like they used too. When you put your magic touch on going to look like new. I enjoy watching your videos they very educational on heavy equipment
We tried to load my insley Shovel with a backhoe and didn't have enough to do it so luckily there was a wheel loader. the Lima 34 crane took 3 months to get good enough to load itself and it was still pretty sketchy. Bucyrus erie loaded self super easy. its fun bringing this old stuff back to life. looking forward to the engine work . I got a 15b Dragline with a stuck cat diesel in it. pony motor runs great but the diesel side got water in it.
The first company I worked for had that machine it was 1986 I think . It was a nice little machine . I don't remember if it had the same bucket or not .
I found this totally interesting. I have an old 450B with a 4 in 1 and a hoe. I did sleeves and bearings etc on it. It needs right side steering clutch adjustment/repair.
Would love to see a part 2 getting that machine running. 👍
Great job boys! Especially good ol Dad! LOL
I like that gooseneck trailer that they have.
Great video 👍 soak the engine in “mystery fluid” and see if it unlocks , and you get it running . It would be good video to watch 😀 . If the engine is going to be scraped would be good to see it taken apart to see what’s wrecked inside . Your videos are always new and interesting . Thank you
Yep for sure
Let's get this old girl running again! I'm excited to watch the video of her revival!
Nice video, Clint. I would love to see you guys bring her back to life. You can't beat the old iron !!
For sure
Let’s get it running and painted up! Can’t wait to see the transition! It will definitely make someone a nice little loader, Keep up the great videos Clint, love them!
Really glad I found your channel. Looking forward to your team fixing this one. Thanks

You're dad's one hell of an operator
Looking forward to seeing how you are going to unlock that engine.
Kevin @5:42 "It's a lot like Deliverance here."
I got the same vibe. If you hear a banjo, RUN!
Nice how you kicked those rocks off the trailer. Windshield breakers, good job. That backhoes is a beast
Thanks
You guys are a pleasure to watch, really bring a smile to my face.
Thanks
I really like this channel, Clint’s a class act, a great family man, humble, no bad language, thank you for your videos, going to buy me a hoodie.
Much appreciated

To add .... C&C Trailer ---- Out of business lol
I admire that trailer used to haul the loader. First class for sure.
Your Dad is still a worker--no fooling around when a job needs to be done. Right on time! with the backhoe load..
From what the video shows, your Dad is wide open!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Always

Got to get it running, the old machines are the best.

time will tell
C&C will get it running and have it looking purty.
It would be cool to see this restored , it always interesting to see the process but then I'm not the one paying for it. thanks for the video
Looking forward to a "will it start" episode in the future!
You need to call "The Tractor Man " in Douglasville Ga for parts on that 455E. I got a complete brand new transmission for it.
I'm the type of guy who likes to work on old stuff and get see if it will run. The things I work on are a lot smaller and cheaper. Hope you can get it running and, if not, you always can part it out. Always enjoy your videos.

Yes pull the injectors looks like the exhaust pipe could of been uncoverered water in one cylinder hydro locked
A very efficient operation for you Ole Southern Indiana Boys!!!!!~ LOL
I love to see a video with repairs, paint and getting the 455E ready to sell.
Love the old equipment vids. The quest to start, the recovery, the rebuild, and when it starts.. success!!
Thanks
Stuck motor is a key challenge but more than once clever guys have got such rigs running. Until that is resolved seems like its just a pile of yellow iron. Love to see it run!
I'm just happy to see I'm not the only one in the country who still has lever-type boomers.
Lol

We got it I believe
Yeah, I didn’t see anyone get it…either
Looks worth pursuing and if it makes sense to fix it. Can always use a project if the shop is slow.
o ya get er runnin shes a oldie goldie
I like that you chained it to the hard points & not the tracks! Excellent
Good luck on fixing the loader
I agree with another post that maybe you should try some Marvel Mystery Oil and put into each cylinder and let sit for a couple of days.
