The Iso-Bow is very good for Iso-motion exercise.

I just bought a really old Bullworker in a church jumble sale a few weeks ago. I had one in the early 1980s when I was 17/18 and got good results. Have trained with weights since, but at 58 my back and shoulders are acky. I'm enjoying the workouts so far. It makes me feel 18 again until I walk past a mirror. Iso motion is foreign to me, I'm just doing the basics.

For this kind of movement, I use the Isokinator, this is also a Koelbel device, but smaller. Here the angle is much easier to hold. It works with the same principles.

I've not heard of this device before?

I don't think you can get injured in this manner. There is no impact, or jarring, there is only the amount of force you can exert in whatever plane of motion you're capable of moving, Yes the Isokinator greatly emphasizes it, it's came concept as bullworker.

The Isokinator can also be used with static isometric holds. You better not hold your breath. The increase progression is funky. I concentrate on form with a 3/10 rep cycle. The Isokinator video's show all the "approved" exercises. But you can do some serious core work with the Isokinator and two Iso Bow's. Am working on a squat using the Iron Bow, Isokinator and two Iso Bow's.

Bullworker is a great exercise equipment. But it’s gotten expensive recently. Used to be quite a bit more affordable.
You did a great video. Thanks for the shoulder health reminder. It’s too dang easy to throw caution to the wind and end up with an injury.

I own 3 Bullworkers. They are all older, used models as I don't see the point of buying a new one at the prices they're asking.

If something hurts - stop. Train don’t strain. 👍

@3Piller, indeed. Even the handbook does advise that 60% of your strengh is enough to get the job done. So there's no requirement to use more than that unless it's your own intent. Then beware of the risk of injury.
