That move at 6:49 is so fucking bullshit dude, have you ever found out how to deal with it? Sometimes Isshin does two wind slashes, sometimes he does the first only and does an instant ichimonji, and the attack is delayed so i always miss the deflect. That one fucking move screws me up so much, I can probably do this fight hitless if it weren't for that bullshit.
Are you playing with prosthetics and items, if so you can just umbrella the combo, although if ur using yashariku with it too then you most likely wont even be seeing the combo cause it makes the fight so damn much faster. If you arent using anything of the above them what I can tell you about this combo is that it has no specific thing to know when its coming but some things are certain, he always does it when he is trying to hit you with his spear from above and it follows into his typical combo. Another thing I've noticed is that it also happens only some time after he's done the cursed sweep combo and the area denial cursed combo, bascically he will never do it early into the fight. Also he has another variant of this combo which is also featured in the video but he only does 1 ichimonji and 1 slash into 3-4 bullets
@@doubleutf0121 No yashariku, and I'm only using the purple umbrella for the triple dragon claw attack. And oddly enough, the bullet variation of the attack is pretty easy for me to deflect. Also if I umbrella the combo, when do I start? For the quick (tah tah, wind, ichimonji ichmonji), should I just preemptively umbrella immediately after? Or should I umbrella the tah tah? And for the spear pull, should I preemptively umbrella after every single spear pull, although that looks like a waste of emblems, and I do use fire vent on him. The only other way I can think of to deal with this attack, is to preemptively deflect "tah tah + 1 wind slash", then react to the second wind slash or ichimonji, but that's cutting it ridiculously close because the wind slash is so fast. I also already dash out of the spear pull as much as possible, but there's one attack where he does spear hit + spear pull, and it has wind VFX on the spear hit so you can't dash out of the pull.
