I would say yes, it is actually much harder, the cursed bullets and the lightning reversal made this a pain. Not to mention this version also removed the buff from mikiri where you would heal a little bit which was also very nice. In this version he can deflect the lightning reversal if you don't do a specific thing, and just Ichimonji you as you are about to fly down. Until I figured out how to deal with it, it was extremely annoying. Not to mention him doing the "rare" follow up constantly after the combo at 11:36, for some reason it's no longer rare and he keeps doing the follow up which I still haven't completely figured out the timing for to perfectly deflect, I've been lucky a few times but most of the time when he does the follow up 2 slashes I get PB'd and die if I am not at full hp. The combo that comes after the 3rd "full combo" which I refer to as the "cancel" combo he does a very similar thing but instead of doing 2 ichimonji's he does only one and then two slashes, that one is much easier to deflect, sadly I couldn't showcase it in this video but perhaps when I do the hardcore version he might do it there. And I think the rest of the combos are easy to deal with.
@@doubleutf0121in the final phase you just need to catch his lightning twice. As for the mikiri healing, you need to defeat Owl on the rooftop to get it back. I agree his curse is annoying but it’s only to scare you even though most attacks are perfectly deflectable like usual. But what i really hate in this version is that Ian removes lightning attack from phase 2, and now the fight gets really long. I’d rather play older versions unless the author discards Isshin’s mortal attacks since he recovers his posture really fast with those
@@QuanNguyen-bk4pn That won't save you from Ichimonji into the face, if you try to reverse his lightning twice normally, also I know how to get the Mikiri buff, I just don't wanna go through the entire game, I am pretty lazy not to mention playing through the NG gives you way more hp aswell. Also I forgot to mention that he removed the lightning from 2nd phase which you mentioned just now, that makes the fight super long yeah.
Dude I still can’t deflect the variations of that combo at 11:17, where Isshin sometimes cancels the 2nd wind slash, and does two instantmonjis instead... lucky he doesn’t do that very much in the Inner version lol. Any chance you’re able to deflect the variations yet
Yeah, but theres a pattern for it, to know when its coming, also I do parry it, even in this video it's somewhere he even did the follow up 2 slashes. The pattern is basically when he does the spear slam into 1-2 slashes you have to count, the 2nd time he's gonna be doing spear slam into 1-2 slashes and then a slash from left side, 3rd time around he's gonna be doing the combo you are talking about. He has patterns for all of the combos actually. Another guy posted this regarding the patterns on my old video, idk why the comment doesnt appear, credits goes to him for letting me know about the patterns.

Idk, but for now this is the hardest LMTSR boss by far, surpassing father which was the previous hardest boss in earlier patches.
