- Today I will walk you through how to get the platinum trophy in Sekiro Shadows Die Twice for the Playstation 4. I will be going through the process of how I got the platinum and added any improvements that could make getting this platinum even easier. This guide is the fastest and most efficient way to get this platinum. Linked below are some helpful websites and guides that will make getting the platinum in this game that much easier.

-- ENDINGS --
Immortal Severance:
1) Break the Iron Code
2) Give Kuro Dragon Tears at end
Purification:
1) Break the Iron Code
2) Eavesdrop on Kuro in his room
3) Talk to Emma and rest
4) Talk to Emma again then go to Old Grave and talk to Emma again
5) Go to the Dilapidated Temple and eavesdrop on Emma
6) Confront Emma and get father’s bell charm
7) Use charm on Buddha Statue
8) Complete Hirata Estate and kill Owl
9) Give Kuro Aromatic Flower and Dragon Tears at end
Return:
1) Break the Iron Code
2) Go to Divine Child and get rice 3 times
3) Get persimmon and give to the Divine Child which she will give you rice
4) Give rice to Kuro and leave and return back and he will give you a rice ball
5) Eat the rice ball and talk to the Divine Child
6) Get the Holy Chapter: Infested and give to the Divine Child
7) Go into the Hall of Illusions
8) Get the Holy Chapter: Dragon’s Return and give to the Divine Child
9) Get the fresh and dried serpent viscera and give to the Divine Child
10) Travel back and return to the Divine Child and eavesdrop
11) Head to Kuro and cut him
12) Return to the Divine Child to get Frozen Tears
13) Give Kuro Frozen Tears and Dragon Tears at end

I platinumed this game last week after bringing it back out after almost 2 years. By far Owl in Hirata estate, and Isshin of Ashina were the worse bosses. I use to fear Genichiro, but after a couple playthroughs, I rocked him in a couple min with slice/parry.
I agree Ishin ashina is annoying fire spam but why do u think owl father is bad? I loved him

@@tylermthegerm7077 I backed up lol, but I actually played through 5x.
At first playthrough it took me over 200 tries to beat isshin after that everything clicked and I became true shinobi. Going platinum now and just finished NG+ and beat that same MF only with 3 tries.
Upgrading all prosthetics tools in one play through? Not enough lapis lazuli.
You can't. You carry lapis trough your next playthrough for the other endings

Done platinum and unlocked all skins. Got bored with assasins creed games picked this one up and the experience was way better considering the size of the game.

By my 3rd playthrough, I dominated Genichiro by just slicing away/parrying, quick dodging, in a couple minutes. He use to be my most feared boss.

oh, so this is where you use the whistle, going back now. I will check the vid afterwards, I need more prosthetics also, I barely use the seeds anyway I use saving points.
I think I won't spoil myself that much with this vid, basically do not fight monke until else is completed, I will just try to find the prosthetics and the seeds, and yeah I try to hit on Emma always so I will have that part achieved soon.
Cheesing anything in this game is robbing yourself of the best combat in any game ever. Bastard hard to learn, but you feel like an anime protagonist when mastered!
I’m not supposed to kill the last two bosses before getting all the prosthetic tools but the last prosthetic tool comes from one of those bosses what do i do?

I can Tell you i just bought recently Sekiro and i love it. I finished my first playtrough in 2 weeks and started directly After that my ng+2 and finished it in 1 day. Today i got the platinum on my ng+4. if you really love this game dont do a backup save. Its like cheating to get the platinum a bit too.
I'm in the exact same boat. I love Dark Souls and Bloodborne but I was never sure I'd like Sekiro. Its now my favourite From Software game and one of my favourite games of all time. I've finished it 4 times and got the platinum. My 3rd and 4th playthrough I did both in a couple of hours

I don't think that backup saves are a cheat. I mean, you still gotta do everything that's required for the endings, you just don't have to play through the exact same game 4 times. I love this game too, btw
Lennon Gammella it is a cheat, beating the game on NG+ makes it harder each time and can you say that the developers who created the trophy list intended for you to use back up saves?
@@hindsight142 No, but it's literally the same game you have to play through 4 times. And it's not like you can skip any requirements for the endings, you still have to beat all the bosses.

For some reason even tho I have beaten the game 9 times and unlocked everything possible, my game will not give me the achievements for beating emma and isshin getting the shura ending and upgrading vitality and posture to max, I'm on Xbox one x and have completed these multiple times and still don't receive the achievements.. does anyone know how to solve this problem?
If I want to plat this game with 4 different run throughs (because it appears I hate myself) and i can choose 3 of the good endings, does the stick from the owl stay in my inventory if I choose the frozen tear ending?

I don’t really look at it as an accomplishment when you literally back up a save and start where it’s not intended to get the platinum the real platinum you need to play through all times
If that’s what you want to do then it’s up to you, thus the disclaimer. At the end of the day no one will know how you do it as long as you have the trophy.

Sekiro is probably my proudest Platinum besides Bloodborne.
I literally pulled out both games not too long ago to try and platinum.
After I got use to Sekiro again, the worst bosses, to me, is Owl in Hirata Estate, and Emma/Isshin of Ashina lol...so good luck man. Lady Butterfly was a extremely difficult boss, until I got the mechanics down. I went to fight her in the extras after I beat ng++ and wooped on her lol

Mibu manor is definitely the best xp farm spot. Run and shuriken all the dogs and then stealth/fight all the nobles and spear guys. Rest. Repeat
ashina outskirts after invasion is my personal favourite, especially on new game ++++. low risk high reward

If I collect all necesary items for all three good endings, and save after the main boss, can I backup the save there? I am not keen to fight Sword Saint 3 times in a row.

You need to eavesdrop Kuro in his room, speak to emma, meet her at the old grave idol, eaves drop her conversation with the sculptor and then confront her. You get a new bell, and pray at the buddha statue to access the 2nd memory.
Did you platinum this game in 2 playthroughs, I'm trying to figure out how and when to save reload for the endings
If you have collected all items for the three endings, you would save right after you've beaten Isshin Ashina. Give Kuro one set of items and then quit and reload the save. Continue to do that until you have all three of the endings.

@@danpats1 i recommend backing it up on a usb flash drive. the auto upload on ps plus might screw you over. go to application saved data managemebt and click saved in system storage. Then put in the usb and choose copy to usb storage device and you should be good. you can back up the file on a computer from the usb just in case.
The only ones I need is the immortal severance ending, and the man without equal, I’ve killed all the bosses but over a few different play throughs, if I do one more and chose the immortal ending, should I get the trophy?

Ok so i killed all the bosses in my first play through but i lose the game save file so then i had to replay from where i had last saved witch was from the owl on the kuro room but i just rushed every main boss except the demon of hatred what am I missing?
I’m very lost cause Ik one of the achievements that I’m missing is a man without equal do you have to kill isshin and Emma in the same save or no cause that is the only reason I could think of as to why I haven’t gotten it yet
When you do the Shura ending you will be forced to fight both Isshin and Emma, it is a 2 part fight.
You need to fight all bosses in one string of playthroughs if that makes sense. So if you were to do the shura ending and fight emma + isshin, then reload and a save and do another ending, it won't count emma + isshin towards the trophy. This is why a minimum of 2 playthroughs is needed

it took 48h to take platinum but i play 4 times from begining to the end, first run was hard and stuck to couple boss fights, but last 2 runs easy, i beat story in under 4h, and take me about 6h to farm exp for last 4 or 5 skills

When you say trophy, what exactly does that mean? I'm on steam and we don't have any trophies. Just achievements, unless I'm missing something.

I did ALL of endings in one plathrough. Beat mini bosses. Beat headlesses. Beat serpent and large carp but for some reason I didn't get the beat all bosses. Ofc I'm doing ng+ for the remaining trophies. Pls help me I'm right outside owl at ashina castle if my progression helps
If you did the Shura ending and then load up the save beforehand it won't count for defeating Emma. You need to do this ending in the NG+ to get all the bosses.
