Man I just wanna leave a comment to express my gratitude. I just got my Moducase 2200 unit and their instructions are quite confusing, thank you so much for showing how everything is assembled.
Super hint about the zip ties & sticky mounts to keep the cords and connectors hidden at the top. I was going to try gaff tape, but zip ties is far more elegant and will last forever. Thanks for the videos - it sure makes things a lot easier to understand than the PDF instructions.
@@thejediknightswatch Always enjoy you on your own channel, so keep that up, as well and as when you are a guest or mentioned on other channels from time-to-time. I’ve had my silver/white ModuCases (1 set of 4 sixth110, 3 sets of 3-high DF120) paid for and on order for over 16 months. Finally on Monday received notice the UPS labels have been made at their distributions center here in California. So I should have them soon when I can get my sixth-scales, Delorean V1 and new JazzInc 1966 Batmobile out of storage and on display where they belong - at last! Thx again.
Hey man, so I'm waiting on my Sixth 110s to arrive soon and I'm hoping to use my soap reactors on my figures to have the LEDs lit. I'm assuming running the wires for each figure through the same hole where the lighting strip is wired from is viable? How hard is it to get behind the cases once built? Are they very heavy? Unstable? Did you leave a gap behind them? Also, really curious to see what it would be like to paint the back panels of a moduspace with Vanta Black and have 99% absorption of the spill light rather than the current black paint which is pretty reflective.
It’s not too terrible to get behind the cases once they are built unless you already have figures in them. If empty you can slide them out from the wall to get behind and then push them back.
The power supply supports up to 6 case lights? I’m a little confused, I got the 10amp power supply but they only gave me a 3 prong attachment. Is there a 6 prong plug attachment?
Hey, bud! I recall you saying that you were given a few different LED strips than you ordered. I think Warm light instead of Pure white. I’m not sure if you said they were gonna send you the right ones and that you could keep the mistaken ones. If so, I’d be willing to buy them from you if you didn’t need them. I bought a Moducase from Sideshow and all they had was the Spotlights. I’d want my setup to be similar to yours. Either way, thanks for hearing me out.
Hi, I'm finding your Sixth110 how-to vids very helpful thank you. Just bought four from Sideshow to set up side by side and stacked 2 high. The US retailer Sixth 110's for whatever reason only available with four spotlights vs. the lightbars like yours. I think I'd prefer the light bars but before I buy those from ModuCase direct, I am wondering if you think it would be worthwhile if I'm setting up in a fairly light room. The illustration is to have two of the four spots in the back upper corners of the sixth110 facing forward and two in the front upper corners facing back. I am concerned the back ones will shine in eyes depending on viewing angle and this setup may leave a dead spot in the middle of that rectangular case vs. light bars which seem to evenly light it all the was through. I am considering doing four facing backward along the top front edge but the middle two would leave a cable management problem since the sixth110 does not have a middle rail across the top as the it would with two sixth55 joined side by side. Also the Spots are installed with little screws to hold them in place vs. double stick so hard to try it out without leaving screw holes in the ceiling of the assuming I switch to lightbars. Thoughts?
@@thejediknightswatch Thanks, I heard it takes forever getting anything from ModuCase directly. I wonder if I can source similar light bars and power supplies quicker (and possibly cheaper) through Amazon or such vs buying the lightbars from Moducase. Thoughts and would you mind sharing the measurements of how long your light Bars each are and what color warm/cold white?
Did your case come with white backing? Mine came with black on one side, white on the other. Looks horrible unless I stack another one on top and get two sided black boards.

Hey @TheJediKnightsWatch, Im curious how you are plugging these in. Im assuming you had 4 plugs to socket to an outlet. Are the outlets behind the case or to the left or right? If behind, how far out do you need to have the moducases? Thanks

Nice vdo! can i ask you something? I would like to know that how long the wires/cable is (From from psu to led strip) I saw you used the long one which connected to led and run to the plastic rail, did this one came with the box or you need to additionally buy for it? thank you :)
How did you end up powering your lights? I noticed chaining 4 cases together severely weakend the lights as the chain grew. Even chaining two cases together made one case much more dim than the other. So I'll be running each case to its own power supply to fix it. Kinda bummed about that. Otherwise love these cases.
@@thejediknightswatch I do as well. Did you chain multiple sets of lights together? I'm trying to figure out if this is expected behavior of the leds or if mine are defective basically. Using the upgraded power supply the lights lose power the more I connect to the three way split.
@@mand0253 Do you still have this issue? I have 2 chained currently. One is brighter than the other. I have 4 more lights on the way so I’m curious if it’s just better to have an power supply adapter for each case to maximize brightness.

Thanks so much for your ModuCase videos. Regarding the LED strips… In my setup, I’ll have 3 cases horizontally and 4 vertically (making it 12 cases in all). And, then do the same for each of the 4 levels? Thanks,
@@thejediknightswatch I don’t know if this is even possible, but would you happen to know anyone who lives in New York City or its surrounding areas, that wants to make extra money helping putting these cases together?
