Just recently got a Moducase and this video proved to be invaluable in helping me understand the installation a lot quick than I would have deciphering the instructions for myself. Thanks for this video! 🙏
This video helped me sooo much! Before watching this, I tried assembling a moducase and it took almost 2 hours. With your instructions it only took 30 minutes!
Thank-you for this! Just ordered my Sixth110 x 4 as well. I know I'll probably have wait almost a year for it but this video will help once it comes in.
I love a clean detolf set up like you had but man moducases really amp up everything! Love my 4 165s and looking forward to order 4 more in the future!
I didn’t get the legs, just the feet that come with it. They are flush plastic pieces that just plug into the bottom so the case doesn’t scratch the floor.
Your video was a lot of help, and much better than the linked one on the moducase site. I also had the issue of not using the inserts on my first build, as it wasn’t mentioned in that video. Do you know anything about installing the spotlights?
These are not the droids your looking for, these are not the droids we're looking for. But I think this is the display case I've been looking for. I have a diecast Tomy Star Trek Enterprise from the old original TV series, and it's big and oddly shaped for most of display cases I've found. But this is just the right size and it lights up so I can turn the lights off and light the ship, or when the ship isn't lit up I can light the case; solid versatility. It's great to finally find something that looks like a fit, something that looks great, and at around $250 is something I can afford. Tomy is already working on a second ship so I'll stack them for display as the come along. FINALLY a real solution, and I love the magnetic front glass too, it makes it easy to get in and out of the case.
Thank you for this vid. How easy is it to change lighting systems? Like if I buy it with LED stripes but later on want to change it to spot lights, do you have to reassemble many parts of the cases to get the lights and cable in? Probably yes...
Mine don’t need to as I’m in the basement. They are very sturdy. However if you are on a different floor or in a location that has earthquakes you def could
@@thejediknightswatch dude I feel you man! My cases are longer and more of a pain to put together and it definitely takes a toll on you after the build lol
Great video! Can't wait to watch it again when my cases finally arrive. Just curious how long did it take to arrive from when you got your shipping notification?
Very helpful. I’m going to be coming back to this video when mine finally arrive. It’s been a full year wait already so hopefully soon. Could you just tell me what you think of the baseboard quality? It’s thickness or the strength of it. Does it feel like it could bow in overtime? I added that upgrade that the site says makes it able to hold up to 66lbs. But a little nervous if I go a little over that.
Nice video. What its the shelf base made of? The thick one? How many kg do you think it could hold? I plan on putting a 1/1 half-body resin statue of Gogeta from ArmyAnt Studio, which might weigh 35 kg. I'm talking to Moducase now, and they will put a reinforcement bar in the middle, but I'm still unsure about whether the flat panel will just snap and ruin the statue
Thanks for watching. The board is made of wood and I’m guessing it is a half inch think. I believe it is rated for 30lbs but you can get support bar added to increase the weight. They have all the dimensions and ratings on their site for all their cases. Www.moduspace.sg
Thank you for the video. Decided to upgrade from detolf to moducase. Due to the height of the ceiling in my room, I can’t fit 4 df120, has to do 4 sixth110. But I am thinking about getting 3 sixth series and 1 df120 . Do you think it will work if I put the df as the bottom base level? Really want to put the tumbler and bat pod in the same case
In the case of Jazz Inc 1/6 Batmobile, how much weight is the base of that Modular’s rated to take? I’m referring to when u stack the 2nd or 3rd case from the bottom. Any issues with base sagging?
Hello! Great video. Really helpful. After 14 months of waiting, I finally got my three Sixth 110 cases. My order was for all black interior, but my back & top panels have one side black and the other white (unlike yours in the video). I followed your steps really close, but that leaves the white side of the back panel towards the inside of the display which I do not like since I wanted all black interior (even the stickers labeling the panels are out sight, so that panels are set properly. Have you heard anything about these panels being a different color on each side? Keep up the great work. Thank you. Ricky
@@thejediknightswatch Yes, thank you!! I reached out to them last night. It is just odd that the boards I got are half white & half black. Hope to hear from them soon. Thank you again! Keep up the great work. Ricky
I was also surprised by the black/white issue, then checked closely on sideshow listing (where I got one), and it’s is correct. The whole goes on the outside, where you’re unlikely to notice it).
I’ve made newer videos on the DF120 and sixth55 cases, but I haven’t purchased anymore sixth series cases so I haven’t been able to do any updated assembly videos unfortinately!

Your welcome! Glad I decided to make the video as it seems a few people will use it!
The wait is the hardest part, but you’ll love them!
Can’t wait to get mine. I’ll be reverting back to this video to build mine since it would be my first one.
It’s a bit intimidating at first but then gets easy! Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much! I’m building my first two Moducases this weekend.

Detolfs def look nice but this really utilizes space better. I’ll probably order more in the future for my 1/4, but dreading the wait lol
How do the legs affect viewing the bottom case? Couldn't find where you show them in your other videos either. Thank you!
I didn’t get the legs, just the feet that come with it. They are flush plastic pieces that just plug into the bottom so the case doesn’t scratch the floor.
Mine will be coming within the next few weeks. Fantastic walkthrough and looking forward to doing the same
Thanks! Congrats on surviving the long wait! Lol

It would be pretty easy to swap out. You would just fasten to the ceiling and run the cord out the back.
Looks great. I was wondering if they needed to be screwed into the wall so they don't topple over?

Hi! I really like your vlog about Sixth 110. I was wondering can Sideshow's JABBA THE HUTT AND THRONE DELUXE figure fit in Sixth 110 display case?
I’m not sure of the Jabba dimensions but if you know them you can go to www.moduspace.sg as they have all inner and outer dimensions of their cases.

You said something about mounting it early in your video. Is there a mount included?
You can anchor them to the wall if you choose.
Awesome Video!
Working on building 9 right now :( Ummm where is the video to show you how to connect them?
Should be linked in the description!

Thanks for the video. After waiting almost 18 months for mine to come in they forgot all the lighting. :(
Ah what a bummer!! I’ve had the lights forgotten about as well. I wish it would be packaged together.
Thinking about getting one of these, what size riser do you recommend? i heard the 4" ones are too tall
The Moducase risers will work but work better for the DF. You can youse 2 inch acrylic risers on Amazon!
would wall mounting these to save space a good idea?
I’m not sure they are meant to be wall mounted. I could be wrong. You for sure would need to go into the studs.
@@thejediknightswatch I was thinking to use those Heavy duty T metal tv anchors on the wall lol gotta rethink.
Do you think the Sixth series would work well for displaying full size Star Wars helmets on stands? I currently have them in Detolfs.
Not exactly sure since I don’t have any stands. I’m guessing yes other than the Vader helmet but can be 100% sure.
