Oh I am so sorry. My daughter had a long board accident when she was 31. It resulted in a vertebral artery dissection and a stroke. She is lucky to be alive but has been left with issues. I truly hope you regain the use of your legs. It's crazy how after such a life threatening incident how we can truly appreciate the smallest beautiful things. Don't give up! Just keep working at it. She did improve for 3 years. 💕☺️
My anxiety levels have been high recently and the TV is nothing but doom and gloom and fake .. Watching such craftsmanship and the natural beauty of opal is just so therapeutic to me lately... Watching you work is a real adventure and the way you film it all is almost like doing it yourself... Big respect 🙏 from a wet damp Devon in England 🇬🇧 👏 🙌.
I literally just commented on a video of yours saying that I wished you would do a heart shape. My daughter is an October baby and so opal is her birth stone and my favorite stone as well. I wish we could purchase this from you! It’s perfect!!
You can I believe....He has a website, and I think the link is attached to his videos... I might beat you to it though lol 😂...my boy is October as well 😂. Good health to you and your family, from England.
I'm from South Carolina U.S.A . I just wanted to thank you for an amazing experience over the years your incredible skills of cutting gems from nothing has been an incredible experience for me .The world isn't a good place to experience for youths these days and I would like to thank you for allowing us a small piece of your life as a master opal cutter I'll watch your content as long as I can see . Truly therapeutic in so many ways TY !!!!!!!!!!
I really like all that gray webbing. Something very mystical and rare about it. That heart could have so many different spiritual meanings depending on the holder. Beautiful job, Justin! 🤗 So lovely to see Saxon again. 👋👋
I watched a TH-cam video about him. An amazing man. I can't believe they cut off his disability pension. Do they think his leg has started growing back? SMFH. I'm glad he got through the hurricanes ok, and I'm praying for everyone affected by the hurricanes that have hit in the past two weeks.
You did a heart with an opal that had a lot of red. You had sliced the opal. The two pieces ended up a rectangle and a heart. You put them together, and it was I-Heart.
Great heart shape, and the slight dome to the back looks good but seems a bit thick. The webbing is interesting and creates the appearance of leaded glass. Beautiful as always!
My son will be SO JEALOUS of the Yellowfin Tuna's Saxon caught! He is always going fishing, but he's too young to go deep-sea fishing just yet ( he's 15). The heart turned out really well. I think the webbing makes it more unique - well all opals are unique in their own way, this just gives it a little bonus. Can't wait to see what's happening up in Lightning Ridge. Have fun guys!! 💖😘🇭🇲
Ireland here again....l woke up to watch the live and ran out of phone credit! No wifi, so l had to wait till morning to connect to wifi at my Bank and get topped up again, to watch the recording! 😂😂 🇮🇪💚
Beautiful heart, Justin. That one was not what I expected color wise. But it turned out quite nice. That would make a fab centerpiece in a wide cuff bracelet! ❤
I just done a no no! I purchased a pair of triplet earrings from an Australian Opal dealer for my wife. Highly rated dealer. And they are nice they say their from lighting ridge. Not as pretty as the one's you do but had to start somewhere. Lol love you're show watch every day.
Having done cutting contests before at Opalholics Anonymous it is time consuming and takes the dedication and generosity of a person and all participants to take the selection issue of best out of it. Nice rock.
Missed the livestream but enjoyed the creation. The webbing and color combination reminds me of a Mosaic, small pieces of glass or stones set in a medium. You have talked about the various names given to different patterns but I don't remember you calling anything "Mosiac". Perhaps this is the first example of a new pattern classification. At the very least, giving it a name would seem to justify an increased valuation.
I liked the heart shape and it was nicely formed. I thought the back was a bit thick, however. It would be amazing set as the cover of a heart-shaped locket it’s so big! But if it was used that way, it would need to lose a lot of the poch on the back….would be incredible though as a locket!
To make a heart more symmetrical it helps to draw a center line first so that curves and straight lines match. Also, being right or left hand dominate tends to make shapes asymmetrical.
@@dherman0001 My husband's family owned homes in Banner Elk. We were just in Boone & Banner Elk in August. To think of the loss of life and the complete devastation is truly sickening. All we can do is pray.
Normally i hate heart shaped stones. I still do. In this case though i think it would be immensely funny to mount the heart and the triangle as a brooch with the triangle being cupido's arrow. It would be 'cute'
did you forget about the heart you poliched about a year ago , the 2 stones I and Heart. Question : what % of the stones you cut ,go directly to your jewellers for finished merchandise ??
I srvived the stroke Sunday. No use of my legs working but my eyes still do!❤ loves all I have seen.
Praying for a speedy recovery !

Blessings for healing and recovery!
Glad that you're ok, and praying for a speedy recovery. 🙏🏼💖🇭🇲

Well said. 👏👏
The artist puts his "heart" in this one.
The left side of the heart is always bigger than the right side.....

Good health to you and your family, from England.
From Florida just went through the second worst hurricane I think I've been through
The heart shape was very fitting for that opal and it kinda reminds me of my heart with a chip included lol 💕
Looks like a healed broken heart now because of the webbing. Nice symbolic piece and good shape for this particular opal.
The webbing is pretty, and the shape is pleasing. I think it turned out better then i thought it would. 🇨🇦
That looks like a very unique pattern. In the heart from the heart to the heart ❤️
So nice to see Saxon in more of your videos.
That heart would make a stunning brooch. Slicing that tip off was the right choice.
I think that heart was a great choice personally.
Great work!

Almost has a cathedral pattern vibe
Great cutting that was a tough one with the webbing but turned up beautiful in the end
I really like all that gray webbing. Something very mystical and rare about it. That heart could have so many different spiritual meanings depending on the holder.
Beautiful job, Justin! 🤗
So lovely to see Saxon again. 👋👋
Watching from Hope, B.C., Canada. Love to watch such beauty revealed. Keep up the great viewing!
You mentioned Lt. Dan, he wouldnt leave his boat, its all he has. He's very😊 lucky! It could have been so much worse for him in a storm like that!!!
The nice thing about your videos is that we get to share in the experience. I think your boys' fishing channel would do very good.
You did a heart with an opal that had a lot of red. You had sliced the opal. The two pieces ended up a rectangle and a heart. You put them together, and it was I-Heart.
I remember that one.
I like the webbing, it looks like terrazzo
Right!!? I think it's cool! 😎
OMG! I was thinking the exact same thing. 🤗
Great heart shape, and the slight dome to the back looks good but seems a bit thick. The webbing is interesting and creates the appearance of leaded glass. Beautiful as always!
Thanks for sharing and thanks for hearing that we LOVE the good old ways! Keep it up!!

Lovely mosaic pattern with the webbing.

We all have a budget and there is a fitting piece for everyone. Just know triplets are worth around $10 each.
So, would that heart be considered something akin to a honeycomb opal?
Do so enjoy seeing you and your son at the wheel together
Dito, that and I enjoy all the stories, too. What an amazing catch off tuna, Saxon! 👏♥️ Greetings 👋💎👍 to you all at BOD from me in Skåne, Sweden 🇸🇪😀!
Amazing 👏 ❤ opal happy days
St. Louis, Missouri. I thoroughly enjoy your channel!

Looks like an old style concrete tile mosaic picnic table. I like it. I would have gone with boomerang making two stones.
Nice fish!
Yellow fin tuna are great fighting fish and awesome eating, cheers

heart great solution, very nice
We are waiting to pass judgement 🤩
The "broken heart opal". Very unique.
In one sense, this piece reminds me of marble that sparkles.
I love the heart.. its very pretty

Very nice sirs!
Every heart is different so its great
I like the heart shape.

Loved the heart
Hallo from Denmark
Like the seam you cut a few weeks ago, looked great from the side but then bombed as you faced it. Still cool though!
It must be disappointing when you have a stone that shows promise only to reveal that horrible webbing nice job making the heart 💙💚
did you forget about the heart you poliched about a year ago , the 2 stones I and Heart. Question : what % of the stones you cut ,go directly to your jewellers for finished merchandise ??
from Vancouver, BC Canada
I love the grey web heart
What wheel grit are you starting with? Love your videos. Beautiful work and finish.
Beautiful
canadia, again...wondering about microlaser beam halving colour zones, doubling finishable tableau?
I think once you fo more 600 grit that heart is going be nicer!!! I agree with your chouce
