    cool vid!
    couple of things for ya:
"Derby" is actually pronnounced "Darby". don't ask me why, it just is.
there arent any controls for doors in the cab because the guard operates them. There is actually a functioning panel in game, i think its next to the passenger doors at the end. you have to open the panel cover before you can access the buttons.
the red signal that you were mildly confused was red (since you were a bit late) is whats called "approached controlled". This means the signals will display danger aspects to slow the driver down due to the slow turnout speed at the junction. The driver MUST respect these danger signals as if they are normal signals i.e. they must be able to stop at the red signal. However, there is a couple of sensors / track circuits that pick up the train is close to the signal and doing a slow enough speed. ONLY IF the train is doing ALL OF THE FOLLOWING: slow enough speed, close enough to the signal, track ahead is clear: only then will the signal step up to green.
i think someone already mentioned aws, you should give it a try. its "automatic warning system"; those yellow bars on the track before the signals and some speed board warnings are called magnets. when you travel over them, they make a buzzer sound off in the cab that you must acknowledge by pressing a button within a certain time frame (i think its somewhere between 2-5 seconds, not sure exactly how long you have to press it). For green signals, in the older british trains they made a bell sound. i think that the bell is in the hst. on newer trains like the 158, it makes a ping noise. you dont have to react to these. the point of the system is to let drivers know that a signal is coming up.
and finally, the 158 has a hillstart feature! you can apply traction while the brakes are in the first step.
The whole area around this route is really cool, as you can see on the route map you saw. there is certainly a lot of potential for add ons here :)

It’s crazy watching this because it’s my local station. No-one gets robbed in that tunnel by the way at the station 😂. I think it’s disabled and service access because there is/was a shop on one of the platforms. Really tempted to buy this because the attention to detail is unreal

Also the AWS and TPWS and SDS are either up on the fuse box behind the seat or those other key holes on the opposite side of the driver cab and those activate dead man switch warnings and let you know when a yellow signal is coming up in advance

I’m sorry but I have a few complaints with this video. 1: You did not activate the AWS ( Not really a problem but very noticeable for people who expect to hear the AWS chime or warning) 2: you brake when approaching Long Eaton while the throttle is still at notch 7 (Full power)

No problem thanks for the feedback. I dont run these trains very often and this was my first try at it

Personally quite happy the aws wasn't active. Never use safety systems. Personal choice. .

I need to play lottery and buy same gear you got dude. Looks great this new route. I use a curved 27” inch monitor and I am loving it. I feel inmersion increases ( internal camera ). Thoughts on curved monitors on tsw3? and great video dude.

Hey Blu, great video. I have a question for you. Do you think the sand patch grade dlc for tsw3 is worth buying?

It depends on what sort of trains you like, it’s quite slow and about 1.45hrs from one end to the other but it has good scenery :)

I love this game but I just can't really play it on PS4 the lack of pedestrians, layers and other general bugginess is to much for me to handle so thank you for posting what I cant play until I can afford a ps5

How there people. It's been a while since I've wanted to buy train sim world 3 but uh my graphics card is GT740, which is a little lower than the minimum GTX750. Considering that I've got 16 gb of ram and an I5, Do you think the game will run well enough?
