- A woman found guilty of throwing her Chipotle order at an employee was sentenced to jail. She was also given the chance to work off part of the sentence by working at a fast food restaurant.

This should be the sentence for anyone who does crap like this. I'm telling you that if you have never worked with the public, you have zero idea how hard it is.

I used to work at a local retail store .I was throught out my school years. I still do think about these warriors whenever i walks in to a gas station or a restaurant . Its pathetic how they are being treated. No wonder these workers have a bad day almost every day.
Exactly! I work in a busy retail store, have for the last 7 years and we never shutdown during the lockdowns either! It's amazing how bad I get treated some days. I had a lady walk up to me last week, hadn't even had any interaction with her yet, say to me, your in a bad mood today. I wasn't but she put me in a bad mood. I wanted to say to her you try doing my job for a day and see how well you do. People are nasty, rude, impatient on a daily basis! It's really hard some days putting up with the garbage from customers.
I worked in the food industry for years when I was a kid. It’s not hard. The people are a pain, but the work isn’t hard.

The job are minimal skill level, but the ecustomers are a pain in the ass. My 1st job was in a food service, but that was nearly 40 years ago and people where more tamed and behaved.Nowadays we have no respect, disorder and mayhem.

I worked in what I consider a professional setting but people threw things , spit, threatened me verbally physically I asked to go to a doctor thru workers comp and my manger said come'on is it really that serious ?

Paying her will do nothing .. she should work under her for 6 months for 40 hrs a week minimum . A good manager will make her 8 hours equals to 40 hrs a day ... I would definitely do that !!

This was obviously the criminal trial. The victim, Russell, has every right to sue that self-entitled ho in civil court for as much $$ as she can convince the court to give her... which the ho likely won't pay cause she can file for bankruptcy and save a bundle. BUT, trashing her credit by doing that could be very satisfying for the victim.

What's sad is Rosemary Haynes is 39 YEARS OLD, and acts like a child.
This is crazy. My daughter worked at McDonald's last year just because the drive thru was slow a customer got her food, threw the drink at my daughter and parked in front came in and started fighting my daughter. What's funny was when I got there her co workers told me my daughter beat the woman up. The police were there. They watched the video got her license plate and next thing I know the police came to me and said we got her. Y'all my daughter was only 15 when that happened. This is getting to be the new normal.
Hell chipotle had my order wrong the other day. I didn't act like that.
This happened to me when I was 15 at McDonald's. I was waiting by that hot grease with them fries frying. She was a grown grown lady too.
I had a man throw his hotel room keys in my face when I was 18 because the keys weren't opening his door. I almost jumped the counter. People are so entitled and rude

I don't live in Ohio, but I want to send this judge a thank-you card. We need more judges like him, who are fed up with this society of adult crybabies who can't regulate their emotions and act like civilized human beings. Go on, keep giving your kids participation trophies, and what you get is a woman like this.
I applaud the verdict as well. In fact, I would like to see everyone convicted have to do community service to PAY off their jail stays. FYI- I really dont care one way or the other about participayion trophies but disagree they make prople ctiminals or create any culture where it is ok to mistreat anyone. I have met wonderfully respectful children who have grown into excellent and productive citizens via youth sports. I am a strong advocate for team sports which, trophy or not, teaches discipline, teamwork and having to interact properly even when calls dont go your way on the field or court. I would bet you that women didnt spend any time in any team sport. She will learn teamwork at the fast food place (and not even get a trophy.) 😂😉
Hell no there are laws I place for crimes like this. 20 hours a week is a easy get off. Should’ve been jail no other option

I have no respect or empathy for this female. Throw the book at her. I work in customer service and people are AWFUL. They throw tantrums daily. I had a woman take our tips and run out because we wouldn't do a return yesterday. It's becoming so normal, I just don't have any respect anymore.
Having her work at the same restaurant is a lawsuit waiting to happen

I had a customer throw their food at me when I worked at Chipotle, even after I had been so nice to her. Manager watched and did nothing.

That judge is biased! Has he ever let a criminal work at a facility that will teach them a lesson without putting them in jail. That's messed up! Her ass should be locked up. She can learn her lesson in jail like the rest of the people he locked up for life. That's straight BS!
Jail does not teach anything but more negative shit. She would do her time and be out in a few months throwing food at someone else. The judges solution works out better for everyone. Less tax payer money, teaches her empathy so maybe she won't do something as reckless again, and free labor for the restaurant. Trust me if she does anything wrong during her service she WILL be sent back to jail.
The reporter stated that She will still have to serve 30 days in jail after the work assignment.

The important thing is the victim is also pleased with this sentence.
The jail is suspended so if acts up could still spend time plus potential new charges.
This is a win for everyone (on its cover) with assailant getting a lesson, less jail time, pay. Victim having the aggressor penalized to their satisfaction. Fast food place getting worker for a bit (many need workers). Tax payers not paying nearly as much. Citizens having more open jail for what more want off the street for some time.

She should work in the kitchen in jail and serve on the line where she can really feel the abuse from people. So is that what she teaches her children to get a resolution. Judge still did a good thing our tax dollars do not need to just be feeding her she needs to learn a lesson.

I’m so sorry for the employee to have experienced such humiliation. Me personally (depending on my SOM), I likely was going after that lady by jumping over the counter to snap her back into reality.
Sometimes people just don’t know what type of day you’re having or going through to face a situation like this unexpectedly could have gone way left and way wrong. She could have had the crap beaten out of her. That employee was very submissive in letting that situation go. At least that’s how the clip ended.
Surely an apology and some financial aid towards victim should be included.
