Yes, that is actually right. I live in Poland & i am a highschool student rn. Our government is unironically speculating about making online classes in winter (we have totally messed up as a country about green energy transformation and our entire market is running on coal - which prizes are so goddamn high) because 1 ton of coal is literally like 3x my grandmas monthly retirement. I am not joking, they are doing literal LOTTERIES where the main price is coal in some cities.
For context, we have far-right, highly conservative and corrupted government. A bunch of old idiots with milions of dollars are just shrugging an saying "Oh well just turn of your heating, it is healthier than sitting in warm room". It is literal quote. In Warsaw (capital city) older people anxiously ask you if you have some money, because they can't afford their meds or food. Not homeless people, not drug addicts or alcoholics. But i'm pretty sure they are actually close homelesness. People who mostly worked their entire life. Food prices are going higher and higher. Same with inflation (17,2% in september. In august it was 15,5%, in january - about 7%?).
Screw the fascists, capitalism, governments, literally every fucked aspect of this world

Our economy is a rollercoster, our inflation might hit a 100% by the end of the year, our currency is a joke and we are so worthless financially that our debts are as valuable as Sri Lanka
But at least our leaders, as moronic as cowardly as we see them, at least understood that we should get cheap gas, we should endure this winter and make sure that the factories, the small farms and all the small business don't close because the real economy is a lot more important that some finances.
Of course that in the end this mostly helped big business to steal the working class with us paying our food as much as the europeans because our oligarchs are ghouls...

Honestly it is more like an useful tool which they are taking out to distract society from severe corruption scandals, new laws, crisis etc. They won the elections because of that, but it's not really the reason. They were always potentially dangerous, but when liberals lost the elections in 2015 they got the power into their hands. And now they are stealing public money while we are literally facing severe crisis and it's effects

Only conservatives believe that addiction is an innate characteristic or an volunteer choice. That's why most of them hate the entire field of psychology or they will only cherry pick obsoleted theories that have been rejected long ago to claim that they have scientific fact to back their claims. Now most of Ukrainian weapons are destroyed, all they have is NATO weapons and NATO mercenaries including ALQuaida mercs. About 100k Ukrainian soldiers are now dead, around 400k wounded. Russia just mobilized 300k soldiers plus 70k voluntaries. they will start their offensive when ground freezes in Ukraine. NOW would be a great time for peace talks. If NATO and Ukraine want to hold on fighting, there's no way to win without using nukes. and then there will be no more mankind.
