Thank you for showing easy meals that were healthy and balanced. So many easy meal ideas are just a lot of cheese, noodles, and very little veggies or fresh fruit. These all look delicious.

I grew up in Healdsburg/Santa Rosa and these places you visited are my old stomping grounds! So fun to watch your family and I so appreciate the recipes and meal ideas!
Oh my gosh, it's seriously so gorgeous in that area, it would be so hard to leave haha! Are there any recommendations (restaurants, wineries, things to see) for next time??
@@OurCrowsNest5 it's been so long but I know if you drive Westside Rd (Healdsburg) there are tons of wineries along that road and it's a beautiful drive in the spring/fall! I lived on that road as a kid, such a great area.
I so enjoyed this video and seeing the loving care and interaction between you and your family. The food you fixed looked Delicious and healthy as well. The beautiful areas you visited I'm very familiar with and it actually got me a bit homesick. I grew up in the bay area and have traveled to all if those spots. (Even rafted down the Russian River ending up ing Guernville !) It is so important for your children to experience Mother nature like that and enjoy Mom's good cooked and prepared with love!!! Alicia, you are a wonderful Mother, honey. You really are💟Hopefully you guys can go on another one or two this summer🐦

Totally agree that being in nature just revitalises. I am totally loving the enchiladas and how easy that is, I've never tasted them so I will copy your recipe and try it. I done the same when I helped raised my nephew - mostly brought out own, or prepped our food not eating out. It works better too because you are not hungry if you dont like the choices, and I hate feeling hungry and my nephew loved getting great stuff he knew he likes, but we could buy ice creams and stuff. thanks for the lovely vlog I enjoyed seeing the redwoods as I am in scotland with different kinds of scenery
The enchiladas are super filling, creamy, and delicious, I really hope you like them! And you're so right about prepping food! Oh Scotland! Oh, I bet it's absolutely stunning where you are. Thanks we always take food. One night dads in charge grilling, then we go to Walmart and buy frozen pizzas so mom can get a break to.pre made breakfast, pizza lunch ables homemade, beef sticks cut up with cheese and crackers homemade the fruits and vegetables last longer Grr haven’t quite figured the trick out.

Your welcome! I think we over think vacations. Memories is what’s important. It’s easier , cheaper and nicer to just eat chickens nuggets, hot dogs etc wherever we stay and enjoy real family time with games

How round does red wood trees get. It worrying me that in the future it will bust threw the porch.
