Great video, but a couple things to note here:
- Likely SINCE this video was made there have been changes to these packages. For instance, the Night Edition no longer includes wireless charging.
- It was mentioned the Limited has cooled back seats - true, but that is an option as well - not on the base limited model.
- I had a Rebel with air suspension and DO NOT recommend it. In less than 3 years it needed replaced. This is why I went with a Laramie this time because you CANNOT get a Limited WITHOUT the air suspension.
- I went with the multifunction tailgate because it makes loading/unloading easier since you don't have to reach over the tailgate every time - plus makes the step infinitely more useful.
- As far as color choice... I like the contrast of white with night edition.

I have a 2021 Laramie Night Edition in Flame Red. I don't have the Advanced Safety, air suspension, or sunroof but I've got everything else. Best truck I've ever owned.

Yeah I think lower trim optioned up is the better deal...usually 5k bump for next trim and still you have to pay xtra for things..I just don't see value of high trims and they have most profit on them as well....maybe not good for resale idk....
Just bought the granite night edition big horn, love it. It looks and feels amazing. Funny thing is I always get looks because I’m so young buying an expensive truck😂but seriously this truck is amazing

I love the contrast of the blacked out details along with my favorite color, silver! And I’m a Laramie kinda guy anyways lol. I wouldn’t pay any extra for the new tailgates, Ram’s or GM’s.

I love Ram’s granite color. Even with the chrome package it’s just a good looking color, in my opinion.

Good review. Which color looks better with the night package? Granite or silver? As far as most ordered, they both look pretty good.
Also I agree the limited has more standard options, but I really prefer the Laramie wheels. I’m surprised you cannot get those on the limited.
Also considering limited or Laramie, the limited is 500 to 600 pounds heavier, which I think affects performance. Would you agree? Also does that multifunction tailgate add weight? And how much.
And for the Laramie GT, do you really get that much more with the different intake and exhaust? Looks like it’s just for sound, I assume you would have better performance with an aftermarket intake and exhaust like a borla.

Great Video! I agree $1,000 for the tailgate is steep. It already comes with a tailgate so $1,000 option to split the tailgate sounds like a lot. I do believe if you have a devider in the cab that keeps everyday items loser to the back of the truck, than the split doors is a great option, but IMO not at $1,000...$500 maybe.

Bought my ‘21 Laramie about 6 weeks ago!!! I still can’t understand why Ram suffocates the hemi!!! First thing I did was add a Borla Atak exhaust. Just got my lift and tires installed and now its PERFECT😁😁😁😁

I agree that going for a higher trim is usually the best way to save money on options but RAM restricts the way you can get your truck so sometimes you have no other way.
Example: I wanted a Limited quadcab with a 6'4 bed and air suspension and night edition package... doesn't exist, highest trim available with that cab/bed config is the Laramie.
Also on the Laramie you get the forged 22" wheels which I like but you don't get those wheels even as option on the Limited.
But here's my biggest gripe or doubt... can you even get a 6'4 bed with Rambox on a 1500? I haven't seen one on a 2021 and it doesn't seem like they offer it on their website truck builder.

Lol my Longhorn has every single option other than air suspension (because I didnt want it) and without that goofy looking tail gate. And the window sticker was around $68,799 , so less than this Laramie. Thats crazy, I personally like the front end with the better headlights alot more on the Longhorn and Limited's over the LED lights available on the BigHorn and Laramie's. Also not a big fan of the night edition with the blacked out grill. I think the chrome grill with color matched bumpers is perfect!
Multi function tailgate is the shit, im wondering if you have never owned a pickup truck if you dont get how thats useful

So when the truck lowers at 40mph does it come back up again when slowing or stopping automatically? I’m like you I would like the option to turn that auto off and have truck height where I choose to have it throughout the drive.
No it stays in aero once it lowers
Not true the truck will raise its self back to normal once speeds decrease for a certain amount of time
@@garretttate3076 I just bought a 2500 and talked to my dealer. On my truck when lowered the ride definitely softens when lowered but like you said my dealer claims it will adjust accordingly. As far as the switch it’s either all the way up or all the way down and your only talking an inch of movement at the back. I was under the false impression that the whole truck lowered to make entry easier but that’s not the case at all

@@JB_WhoWork yea they need to get back to the reason why most people went to Ram in the first place...value for the money spent in a way to compete for market share with other brands. They are gaining, yet they are losing at the same time because there is going to be a foregone opportunity every time with prices like that.

Is it a nice truck ? Yes. Is it worth 70k. Not a chance. But people are paying it so they’re charging.
The price is justified as this truck has more options than luxury cars but not worth it for towing 👍🏾
Most of these trucks are already set up to add extra features....it cost them very little to add them....25k in options shouldn't even be possible.....that alone shows how much they skimp.....50k trucks still have halogen lights, lol....
