I stayed in Nektulos Forest until Level 8 with my (first and only) Enchanter, starting at Newbie Log and moving northward toward the East Commonlands. Then a group sent me my first invite! Oh boy! I got dragged off to North Ro to one of the Dervish camps (3 spawn, forget what it was called; this was 24 years ago) and the High Elf Paladin told me to "pull" the closest mob. So I did, and the other 2 came with it, and promptly wiped all of us. Pally wasn't impressed, especially since he had to run back all the way from Felwithe. Turns out they were expecting me to Lull the other 2 first. Was a nice introduction to playing an Enchanter for me. Things went a lot more smoothly after that. Go figure. 🤷♂️
I've always loved G-Fay, even though it's not a great leveling zone for newbies. That North Ro I never did get use to it. Seem a lot of people leveling there though.
Lots of people like NRO, but in part 2 of this series you'll see that some of the other zones are better for leveling up when if comes to camps and mob density.
@@doctornachoz8099Done NRO on basically every TLP till about 6 then GUK to 50. God I hate GUK at this point. 48-50 is longer than 6-48. So glad we will have Seb/Chardok in the early 40s this time.
Maybe im behind in times but uhhh.. How is it you're able to see mobs flagged on the map and their movements???? *NEVERMIND* You mentioned it later as HappyMap and its only available on test server @ 3:15
Just as an FYI, I've been hearing from Live people that because the Tower is in play on Teek, GFay MAY be full of level 80 skeleton roamers. So uh, it might actually be one of the worst starting zones if that is the case. These skeletons are part of one of the Anniversary quests.
The only problem with that zombie camp is that you get level 15 mummies and rare 16 mummies. My necro can kill reds as long as they`re within 4 levels but you will get resists with poison bolt. I buy the 4 - hour clarity and 4 - hour sow till my shaman hits level 9. I was able milk 14 levels in North Ro.
Hey Doc, thank for the videos. I am coming back after a 20 year break and will be giving Teek a go. Your videos put the bug in my ear. Do you know if there are any discord servers for this TLP server?
I have more on the way. This is just part 1. Might have to upload more than one per day to get them out before launch day. I also want to do the low level dungeons if I have time.
@@doctornachoz8099 yes for example it took me 1hour to gain a lvl. And I have no idea how to loot stuff. But man it’s fun to have trouble like this on a game
I had high hopes when I decided to join the Teek Everquest server, but unfortunately, it has been a huge letdown. The most glaring issue is the extremely low population. It feels like I’m interacting with the same few players repeatedly, and it’s hard not to wonder if they’re all server admins just trying to keep the illusion of activity alive. The lack of communication among players is staggering. You’d expect an MMORPG to be a vibrant community full of interactions and camaraderie, but here it’s like talking to a wall. Conversations are almost nonexistent, and when they do happen, they’re rarely about the game itself-mostly just discussions about money and transactions. This focus on profit over community is disheartening and makes the entire experience feel soulless. Everquest itself is a legendary game that deserves to thrive, but the way it’s being managed on this server is contributing to its decline. It feels like the magic of Everquest is being sucked dry by a lack of genuine passion from those running the show. Instead of fostering a community and engaging players, it feels like the focus is solely on making a quick buck. If you’re looking for a true Everquest experience, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. The Teek server simply doesn’t capture the spirit of what made the game great. It’s a dying game, and the people managing it are doing a disservice to its legacy. Save your time and find a server where the community thrives, because here, it’s anything but alive.
Looking forward to Teek, we played together back in the Thornblade days.

Nice story and thank you for sharing the wonderful memories!
Thank you! From an old newbie 😊

Dr. Nachoz!
Appreciate and enjoy your content!
👍👍
Much appreciated!
Ayy, just the video I was looking for!
more to come!
Oooo, the Marsingers! Their gem quests ate up SO much of my Classic life. 😂

Yes, happy map :)
He is running Mq2
I immediately went to comments to find out what map this is when I saw the mobs.
I took a few screenshots to go back and study. 😉

More excitement and thrills for newbies. Those elves never got to experience Blackburrow, but now they get the Tower and level 80 skells :)
Quick question. Restarted and entered and I have to fight my way out of jail? How do I get back to original start zones?

Oh wow. We used to use Ward undead at level 6 and then heat blood at 10. It seemed like heat blood was never resisted.
@@doctornachoz8099 Heat Blood isn't till level 10 so 1 to 9 is poison bolt and your level 4 Clinging Darkness.

I think there's the official Everquest/darkpaw discord.
which map are you using? I like how it shows the mobs ok nvm just heard you say haha
Field of bone? Kunark is starting on this tlp

Is it possible to use the original skin models?
I think you can. I kinda like them more, so I'll see if i can change it.
Is HappyMap against TOS? Or is it kosher?
Oh my bad, it's only available on the test server.
It's not available on the TLP server and wont load.
New player playing for the first time ever on a shaman troll, on teek server. Do you know where i can find a guide for everything ?
I have a few spell guides, but you'll need more than one tutorial or guide.

If you're the leader of the group, you can right click the items you want to loot when the advanced loot window shows up. Are you in a group or solo?
Try this video for how to loot: th-cam.com/video/s8cRg9oPMew/w-d-xo.html
@@doctornachoz8099 I’m playing in a group and solo but when I say « how to loot » I mean how to loot stuff because I am naked since the beginning
How are you seeing all the mobs on your map?

Yep, mostly bots and the same players from every TLP.

THIS GAME IS HARD!
