I see all these tips and tricks for customers to fix their Wyze cameras, but the fact is the Wyze camera problems are not fixable by the customer. Wyze cameras just suck.
My cameras work but only stay connected when it is plugged into a power source when the cameras aren’t connected they go offline and won’t connected any help would be appreciated.
for me it doesn't matter the distance from the router. i have some wyze cam v3's that are 75 ft away (outside the house!) from router and they're stable connection. i have some that are 15ft away from router and they're disconnecting.
Got 3 brand new ones same issues troubleshooting and all. All power outlets work fine. Heck, I power a tv on em everynow and then but still same issue. Brand new router as well. Dealt thinking I may be backed or something.
Just got cam pan v3, and it goes off in the middle of the night. Also got cam v3, it does not lose connection. I guess you better mount them where you can easily cut power every day. Which is not ideal. at all.
So in other words, run around resetting, re-installing, repowering, etc., your cameras, over, and over, and over, and over. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON WYZE CAMERAS! You've been warned!
My Wyze cameras stopped working well once they did that app update. It just doesn’t work the way the old one did. I’m fazing out of them and going to blink. It’s a shame too they were AWSOME before
My wyze came v3 kept videoing motion dection but no motion dected. I have a roommate who got some gadgets. He was shining it on my camera. I put it outside my door. Because i do not trust him. Can u tell me why it kept saying motion dected double time.
Haven’t even had these cameras two weeks and it’s already showing off-line the fact that I cannot put them back online Simply through the app sucks. These cameras are truly a waste of money.
A camera shouldn't go offline and then needed to do all these steps to fix it. A camera should be made to be put aside and working constantly. A camera that makes you feel unsafe failed at its usability. I will buy another brand cameras.

Never buy Wyze cam again. All 3 cameras needed to be unplugged and plug again and again daily to reconnect. Such a bs camera!
This is useless. I am gone for a week and only 1 camera went offline. I know my internet is not the issue. How do I fix this while away from home?

This POS cam every night at the same time goes offline from 10pm to approx 5 6 or 7am EVERY night how and why is that possible?
