Love the Minitaur. I built 'taurus' pedals from a set of old organ pedals and an arduino and midi board. Works great. I really enjoyed your composition here too!
We had an 4.5 earthquake last night here near Berkeley and nothing fell. Since I've been watching this video two things have fallen off my desk. My Minitaur should be here in about 5 days. Hope it doesn't set of the Hayward fault.
it depends of what kind of music you play..... but if you asking my opinion , this product is the best value for money deal in the market , top notch bass quality ,i suggest you to keep it at any cost ..... for sure i will never ever thing to sell it. cheers !!:))
i own a Minitaur. I love the sound but the 3 octave range restriction is something i still can`t get over after having it for 4 years. I never had the nerve to sell it till now. ALways at the last second i was like "but it`s so small and sweet and bassy...." :-) From all my synths the best value for money is by far the Bass Station 2. I wouldn`t ever want to have to choose between the two but if i had to choose only one i would keep the BS2. I hate that it is plastic made but the sound palette you get out of it is phenomenal for the money. Even today. I also love sending the BS2 through the Minitaur filter ... :-) ps your kick is distorting here and there. maybe consider a bit more sidechain ducking. Smooth jam still
hmm interesting opinion . . . to be honest i have never test the bass station 2 , you put me in thoughts to do it. For sure i will upload video with details.... As about the kick, is distorting because i have the moog too "hot" and masks the kick frequencies here and there causing the kick to distort , i didn't focus on mixing , my purpose was to bring the bass in front more than enough... Additionally in techno music the kick use to be a little bit dirty...... cheers.... :))))
Yes by all means test the Bass Station 2. Apart from the plastic enclosure it is an amazing synth and you can find a used one pretty cheap. You won`t believe the value for money it offers. Since you like techno Check the Bass Station 2 Vs Roland Sh 101 video and the demo of the Bass Station 2 by user Perfect Circuit Audio. You will love this synth for techno (but not only for techno of course :-). It has a Noise generator so you can also make really cool drums (and not only) and a very flexible architecture and PWM. Also with a USB power bank you can power it up via USB, plug earphones in and play it outdoors for hours.
@@DimitrisPapmusic my wife died and I have no girlfriend or anyone to tell me not to spend money. And I live in Shanghai. My living expenses are much much less than my salary so I have disposable income. But I am 52 so... I need to save money.
Damn thats sweet :-O Would you share the patch with me so i can try to rebuild it? Even if it should be pretty basic, i really suck at sound design... but still learning :)
Use the Minitaur app, it has many presets and you are able to see the parameters value for each knob there... You have many great examples in the app and it will help you managing preset banks. ;)
Nothing but awesome. I love the chill soundscapes. Reminds me of early 2000s (Robert Miles)
thank you Sebastian , ....we grew up with these tracks you mention ,
This video might have been an inspiration for Stephan Bodzin,

Hey Dimitris. Will i need an audio mixer before the interface to do what youre doing? playing multiple instruments through live simultaneously ?

Hey Frank .... heavy filtered short saw
What kind of person gives this a thumbs down?
Humans do. They are f*cked up by nature haha.
OMG. I spent $2000 on synth stuff LAST month. My bank account needs to breathe.
😄we all have the same concern .... but most of time we don't need that much equipment
