    I've done the same thing with the exact same model dryer, but I can hear squeaking from the belt. Double checked the belt path and seems to be in the same spot and made sure the grooves are the right way around, is there anything else I should check? Drum spins fine as well, no burning smell.

      It may not be the belt, but could be the drum rubbing on the frame/case. Check to see if the felt liner is still in place. It could also be the rear bearing (rear main nut at rear of drum). Dry spraying some lubricant or putting some oil on that (not WD40 - which is not lube!).

      @@pescado99 I rewatched your video a couple times and noticed that my pulley wasn't spinning as well as yours so I pulled it out and had a look and turns out it was damaged as well. Now I've replaced that and all working well!
