First comment? Awesome love your videos brother, your W123 series videos have helped me breathe new life in my 300D Cleaning the fuel system and other adjustments you've shown made mine run like a totally different car. Much love, keep up the awesome work.
i dont have any experience with the v8 system but i was thinking that you could use some rubber hose to extend the rotor so that you can still use it to press the disk down like on the other models, not sure if it would work. love your work btw.
ill be waiting for that on for my W109 300 SEL. Have you the same kit for W116 280SE m110 d jetronic that the previous owner cannibalized the ignition distributor?
Good afternoon, I have a question where can I buy this kit that you putting on the ignition for my Mercedes Benz 1973 450 SE V8, I will appreciate your help. Thank you.
@Mercedssource please help me! I locked my 89' benz 300se with my key, all 4 doors locked, well the problem is the back doors will not unlock now & when I was locking the car the back doors locked and the plastic piece you pull on to manually unlock the door from the inside flew off when they were locking (confused why this happened never seen this happen on any car before but whatever) it happened on both back doors during the locking process..... Now I have nothing to pull on to unlock the doors manually from the inside. Now, is There an emergency way to open them like there is for the gas door and sunroof? PLEASE HELP ME. I'm desperate no shops can help me in this small town
There could be multiple problems with your door lock system. It is very hard to troubleshoot it unless you understand the principles of operation. I have a training video on my website that explains it all. Here is the link: mercedessource.com/store/1981-1991-w126-chassis-sedan-vacuum-door-lock-troubleshooting-and-repair-demand-video-manual
"Long time no see", but now you have me hooked again.

Good luck Kent!
Also a check and adjusting the points for the electronic injection can make a really big diffrence on those old engines.

Old mercs are lovely
Could you use a cotter pin in front of the disk? Seems if you do a small hole with a small cotter pin, it would hold.
Interesting puzzle.
Pipe clamp ? And maybe some kind of rubber washer below it ?

I am the only one that offers this kit for the V8, and the electronic unit is currently not available from the manufacturer. No ETA in sight. Sorry
If you figure it out, would certainly be nice for my W116 350SE with its M116.028 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
is there a registry for 1971 350 sl European cars?

@@Mercedessource thanks
Does this also work on the 6.3 litre?
That distributor is totally different. Would require different engineering to work.
Uau, um verdadeiro desafio.
Eu amo desafios
👍
😎
Would be nice to find a foolproof working solution!
