Hello there everyone, this is Adam from Ensar Oud, Keep in mind that the typical EDT contains about 4-8% actual aromatics and the rest is alcohol. The 30ml bottles you're getting are actually about 1 ml of fragrance, just watered down in a pretty bottle... The oud oil you're getting from Ensar Oud is 100% pure oud, no synthetics, no chemicals, and no alcohol. So one 3 gram bottle is equivalent to about 3 of your EDT's! Not to mention that most designer perfumes are 100% synthetic. The most expensive thing about them is their celebrity endorsements. The ingredients within mainstream frags cost about $2.00. Anyhow, to all those who want to try genuine Artisanal Oud, samples are available for as little as $19, check out the Organic Oud category for incredible every day ouds. Samples are available from the drop-down menu. Thanks to all who take the time to read, and thanks again Steve! ~Adam adam@ensaroud.com www.ensaroud.com

@Andy Roo hi. Ouds are essences of resins from a specific tree. The scents you're referring to are oil essences of flowers or citrus. They're also natural extracts, but they're not ouds. Hope this helps
Hello Steven, thanks so much for taking your time to sample the fragrances, and I too would love to see a follow up about your favorite! I did want to clarify a little something, those vials that I sent are .15 grams half as much as our sample vials :) So a sample of a perfume oil like Iris Noir would be $21 and is enough to wear multiple times when deciding if that oud is for you! Thanks again, ~Adam
hello Adam im a soap and candle maker I don't know which of this oils can work best for my candles never smelled any oud didn't even know the existence of this until last year but I have no idea how any of this smell I wish I can smell it before buying it or if you have any suggestion for me Luxe.transformations@gmail.com thank you
yes to the follow up please, thank you. I personally met Adam earlier this year, he is a top man and very knowledgeable about perfumes specially oud. my favroites form the house are Kaliman kala (form Borneo) which is an earthy/vetiver non skanky oud and Assam 3000 (indian oud) which is an excellent example of a natural high quality indian oud yet not skanky/barnyardy. much more interesting ouds than the ones from ASQ or the arabian oud house.
It's good to see you do fragrance oils. While in the middle east, I began buying them again, as I used to buy them in Brooklyn back in the day. There was a huge difference in the quality I found over there. I fell in love with one called Oud Secret, and every time I wear it, I get compliments and there is nothing out there like it in the states.
Very intriguing; I'm currently in possession of three oud fragrances that can apparently only been found in the United Arab Emirates and it is most certainly unlike anything I've ever smelled. They are oils as well but because of the way I received them I could not tell you who the company is. Watching this video certainly makes me look twice at these vials. Good stuff.
People don't realize how beautiful this stuff smells. If I was a millionaire I would have a big bottle that'd last me my whole life. I'll watch at video on oud I'm intrigued by it. I always thought of it negatively
nice video, just wanted to say that if you payed for a sample you get .0.3gram, which is about a third of that sample bottle. A full bottle is a 1/4 tola or 3 grams which is 3 of those vials full.
Hi Steve, yes please to the follow up video, I have been watching Adam for a while now and learnt so much about perfumery, it would be nice to see what a western nose genuinely thinks on these fragrances. You break down notes and explain yourself so well in all your videos so would be a great series.
I had Oud Sultani which is expensive and heavenly. Also I have Borneo Zen (amber gris and oud) , Mysore (sandalwood) and Oud Yaqoub. Are fantastic pure oils. I must said that Ensar is a very trusted company and the quality of his oils, has no comparison. Ensar is a great connoisseur and a very communicative person.
@@hocineted7594. This one is strong, more woody, where Sultani is more like al camphor and refined, Yaquob is more rude and in your face but with a good quality too
the idea is to learn how this oils are extracted, and the differences between the regions. Ensar is the best unsurpassed quality, really all you need is a drop between your wrists. thank you Steven
just for the info that vile holds 1 gram in the agarwood industry they sell them 1/4 tola which is 3ml and half Tola 6ml and tola 12ml. so in that vile is about .3 grams. ensar oud prices are based on 3ml 1/4 tola.
Wow that's some next level stuff right there bro, love to hear about new front line stuff, thanks for the introduction to this new oils bro, would love to hear more about this genre.
Hey Steven, I always come back to the video that got me turned on to oud. Now I wear oud casually I never thought that I'd get to this point. Ensar is the Michael Jordan of the oud world. For me oud smells like the region it comes from. It's such a beautiful thing. Adam is the gate keeper for anything you need at Ensar. Congrats on 91k, I've been with you most of the way.
Just want to send a big thanks for all your great content and for getting me into the fragrance world through the quality of your videos, the wealth of information shared and your immense, contagious passion! Even my girlfriend's on board with your channel and gets a tad jealous you typically review male products. Plenty of great reviewers out here but there's only one Redolessence and you are our number one go to. Yiassou!
Of course we want to know your favorite. I have a few too. The smaller samples .3 grams are more $50 and are enough for several wearings. One tiny dot from the tip of the stick will smell all day. Swipe it and it projects all day
I have been using fragrance oils for long time. Yes, they are highly concentrated with no or minimum synthetic ingredients. However, there are much cheaper fragrance oils or attar, including oud oils, available in almost everywhere. You may try Al-Haramain oils. Each 15ml oil bottle costs $10-$15 in US/Canada.
Hi Steve....i have just started exploring the oud oils, having pushed my way up from designer fragrance to niche and now here I am.....these our oils from Ensar oud are amazing, request you to Kindly explore and give your take on it.
I ordered a sampler from their site. It’s like I’m Doctor Strange right after The Ancient One opened his eyes. I carry them all with me everywhere and people are stunned right and left. My bank account will suffer. I kind of leapt over niche and artisanal brands straight into this (always been an Oud lover) so it was overwhelming at first but VERY soon after I lost interest in anybody smelling on me and I just raise my wrist to my nose every few minutes for a whiff like a junkie. Incredible.
I can personally vouch for this... I bought Ambra & some other Oud last week (Adam sent couple of other sample bottle for free). It was in sample bottle, cost around $150 for few drops. Smell was amazing, never smelled Ambra... Oud I know how it smells. I think it is worth the money. If this pandemic ends, I wish to order more. Shipping is fast too, considering mine came from Jordan.
Hey Steve, I'm curios what did your wife say about them? My wife doesn't like them when the fragrance dries down i might get from her you smell nice but hardly definitely not when i first wear them...
Steve hi. I just bought the Sultan Rose Attar from Adam as I just love the combination Rose and Oudh. It has not arrived yet but I am curious to smell it. I decided to start off slow and work my way up into the real Oudh. I am a bit apprehensive still cause I have tried some Oudh from Arabia but these went completely sour on my skin. Now Adam told me that these were most probably Indian Oudh, more skanky and animalic. So lets wait and see;-). By the way again a phenomenal video. Orvin
