  • A quick guide to adjusting laser on/off timing. I only had to adjust the 'laser on' time, but you have the option of adjusting the on time, off time, end time (delay at the end of a group of vectors), and polygon delay time (the time at any vertex of a polygon which isn't a start or end point).
These options can be saved within ezcad as a default once you find what works.

Did you happen to see my video on hatching? I discuss the 'all calc' setting there (if that's what you're referring to). Video is here: th-cam.com/video/kmxDePbHHOk/w-d-xo.html
It basically just calculates multiple objects as a single hatch so the laser will mark in the most efficient path to save time when marking. It can sometimes have strange results on the actual fill though...

It there a way to adjust the red laser light? Mine seems to be off 1mm compared to where the laser engraves.

Yes it's easy you have to go into "config" to set that

I have a 30W Fiber Laser with rotary axis. Can you make any sense of EZCAD settings for rotary axis to do ring engraving. There seems to be redundant options for rotary marking text or rings. I've been doing many experiments with 29.79 diameter silver rings but not getting EZCAD settings to match rotary axis movements. Thoughts?

I don't have the rotary, so all I can do to help is direct you to a few facebook groups where you might find assistance: facebook.com/groups/250911899106529/

So I have a question, when doing hatch and filling this step I get it down perfect. Then when I try to create text or anything with hatch it leaves lines past my design. Any suggestions?
