The app version of this travel guide was so helpful when we visited Paris. We wanted to wander and when we got hungry I just pulled up the app and found the closest recommended place to eat.
hello. i was in ose at thursday. i said to the chef i came here cause someone told me its good there. he asked from who, i said a youtube channel. he said: les frenchies?? i said yes this was so cool.
“They took the brioche and soaked it in something amazing and then they put all this other gooey stuff on it”. THAT is the best description of a dessert I have ever seen, it somehow tells you everything you need to know. I loved these 3 restaurants; all very different but wonderful and cosy! Thank you! 😍
I love how Antoine demonstrates how to eat French food (have the pickle with the pate). It really helps a person thoroughly enjoy the essence of the dish and makes their experience extra special! 😋😊 And also of course Colleen's demonstrations of how to make the most of french fries with a French dish! 😉
I haven't had a chicken that went to finishing school, but I have un Poulet de Bress, which was delicious as my Maman cooked it. You folks really have a flair for finding excellent restaurants and almost let us savor what you are enjoying. Your videos are mouth watering and classy though really relaxed. Bravo
Hey Les Frenchies, I just wanted to say I love your videos! I'm from the city of Angouleme (you should visit one day, it's also close to Bordeaux and Cognac) and I recently moved away to Philadelphia. Watching your video reminds me of home and that feels good! On top of that you give great advice to travelers and tourists, good job really ;)
Being in Paris until Friday and staying in the Montmartre area, I wanted to take some local friends out for a nice dinner. I recall seeing this video earlier this year, so I went back and watched it again. Tonight, we took your recommendation and went to La Boite aux Lettres. Wow! What a wonderful meal and such a reasonable price. The food was amazing and the service was superb. Thanks for the suggestion.
🇫🇷❤Merci Merci Merci Colleen and Antoine! I stayed in Montmartre this fall and it was truly a challenge to find a restaurant. Looking forward to trying these Montmartre gems. May I add Breizh Crepes in Montmartre, I had excellent crepes and exceptional service there. And remembering the night I went to the 11 pm show at the Moulin Rouge, drank lots of champagne and climbed the Montmartre hilly street to my Airbnb with my hands against the walls to prop myself up at 2 am in the morning laughing all the way. Vive la France❤
Would love to see a video for family meal recommendations on a budget. We are heading to Paris this summer with 3 kids and can't really splurge on every meal.
Another wonderful video! I really appreciate that you find the hidden gems around Paris, whether it’s bistros, shopping opportunities or places to visit-or all 3 at the same time. And you have so much fun in the process! I cannot wait to have my first “déjeuner ivre” (thanks Google Translate!) in Paris this Autumn. Merci Colleen & Antoine! 🥰
Can’t wait to try some of these places. Will be there this spring! Can’t wait! Loving all of your videos. I’ve been binge watching! 😅 Thank you so much!!! Merci ❤
Another mouthwatering visit with Les Frenchies! When you were having the chicken, it reminded me of one of the best meals I've ever had, which was in Tours in 1974 when I was visiting France with my family. Such a simple meal by the sound of it - roasted chicken and potatoes - but even as a kid, I recognized the magic of exceptional food when prepared by those who know how!
French cuisine defines quality...in its sauces, food combinations, meat/fish/chicken preparation...everything is planned to create a food masterpiece...exquisite! Another wonderful food video from Le Frenchies! Merci! ❤🎉
I look forward to your vlog Saturday mornings. I just booked a trip to Paris in October. We rented a fantastic apartment e1 where we stayed in November ‘22. My 5th visit & I’m bringing my sister for her 1st visit. I take pastry classes every trip at Le Cordon Bleu & other places. This time, pastry classes at The Ritz! Merci!
I love you 2 sooo much, that my hubby and I are planning our trip..2 years from now when kiddo graduates grad school... CANNOT WAIT!!! you showing the food makes me drool...LOL... I was in Paris several times in my late teens traveling during winter breaks from college, and for part of my honeymoon... been 30 years now
OMG, the last 2 restaurants, in particular, are going to make me want to stay at least 2 days in Paris, when I go to Marseille in June! Montmartre is my favorite area in Paris.
Love videos like these, we also like to go to places that locals use, rather than tourist traps, better quality food, better service, cheaper too, but not cheaper products.
Hi Love you both so much I have down loaded your guide book wonderful. Was wondering if you would do a video on ether Costco or Auchan the French Costco im told. Keep up the great work you do for us. Mike
My husband & I went to Le Coq & Fils last December. Try their deviled eggs next time. The best we've ever had. It would be worth flying to Paris just for this appetizer.
Yea! I have a reservation La Boite aux Lettres tonight thanks to your recommendation! Just before Lapin Agile nighttime entertainment! Merci beaucoup Les Frenchies!! Love your channel!
Keep up the good work. Have you done a Restaurant/Bistro that serves meat as well as good vegetarian options before? Where back in Paris this August for a week with the rest of our family, and one of our daughters is quite fussy even with veg meals . Last June we visited and tried a couple of your options and we were blown away with the food. Thank You.
That look on Coleen's face when sipping the Vin Des Potes Clair had me searching for it here in the states...(no luck), Antoine conducting with two spoons and rosy cheeks from all that great Vino/Food has me thinking you two are having the time of your lives! More Videos please!!
I love your videos. They are, To the point, pleasant, and very informative. My 16 year daughter an I are going to Europe in March and have never planned a trip like this. We will end up in Germany, but we are going to London, then paris, Geneva, Milan, Salzburg, then Gottengen where my other daughter is there going to school. The 16 year old, with my help has planned the whole trip. I have listened to several of your videos. They are so informative. Thanks.
OMG...loving your videos! It's day two for me watching your wonderful videos! Let me start with you two are adorable, loving, and so approachable. I wish you were in my family!!!! I am taking a break from my work this Sunday afternoon. I am watching your bistro videos with a big glass of white wine, brie cheese, and crackers. Watching you from Sacramento, California and very APPRECIATIVE of your fun, educational, and interesting videos!!! Keep up the formidable travialle (great work)!!!!!
Hello how are you? I will be traveling with my wife and son next December. We are taking note of all recommendations. Thank you very much and greetings from Montevideo - Uruguay
It's like a chedder that doesn't suck😂😂 Omg this is one of your most fun posts! Colleen is so happy it is going to be a tipsy lunch 😅 And then Antoine says he's a little drunk and chortles!! I will pay for the lunch and wine to share a lunch like this with the two of you😊 A chicken that went to finishing school😊😊 All three of these places are definitely going on my must try list for June! Merci again for all your "hard work" eating the food!
Hi. Thank your for your great videos. We are doing our first France trip in mid-August. We are staying 2 nights in Montmarte before going to join a river cruise at Bordeaux. After the cruise we are going to Arcachon for 3 nights. You have presented so much info in a form that we enjoy. These bistros look amazing.
Just returned from a business trip to St Louis, Missouri. On the evening before my return to London I dined alone in the hotel restaurant. A starter consisting of chicken wings and two bottles of beer set me back $42. I love the US but dining out has become insanely expensive. France ain't cheap either but you still find restaurants that serve delicious food at affordable prices. Bon apetit. Love your channel.
I work in finance. Part of my job as a junior analyst is arranging travel. Hotels generally worldwide are insanely expensive because it's assumed that, for business travelers, their company is paying for it. Unfortunately. 🙂
Great video! I've visited la Boite aux Lettres a couple of times, it's one of my favorite places. Now I've got a couple of new ones that I need to try, thanks to you.

I love the way you two enjoy the simple things. Your descriptions are wonderful and I can't wait to return to Paris.
You both were hilarious 😂 at your 2and restaurant. Free wine and champagne 🥂. All the food looks amazing 🤩 ❤

You both should check out The Butcher of Paris! The food there is amazing.
39 Rue de Bretagne, 75003 Paris, France
They have very fresh meat. The pigeons are delicious.
We ate at Le Poulbot in November. It is a small restaurant and was quite crowded when we were there (for lunch). Food was very tasty…

Sounds great!
Thank you for always sharing great quality content here. I've been to Le Coq & Fils in 2022, and I love it. A must try is the 128 days Bresse chicken.
French food is so insane! Only if someone don’t mind of the Butter, cream, plus highly concentrated jus!
As my hometown is Montreal , you picked great bistros . Merci ! I get hungry when you do your blog. Merci ,merci et encore Merci!
