Thanks for posting -an amazing last 150m by Reynolds-that race in Zurich was a watershed in my opinion-he smashed Lee Evans' 20 year-old record at sea level. Steve Lewis was a great 400m runner also, and he helped Reynolds to the record!

@@daeuri I don't believe Altitude has nothing to do with their times. Oxygen Debt is a problem at Altitude. USA Athletes Trained in Lake Tahoe for the 1968 Mexico Olympics and were flown to Mexico right before their races. Sea Level trained athletes were at a dis-advantage.
The economy Johnson mastered carrying his amazing sprint endurance strength was amazing to watch.He reached the "zen" state I always dreamed of hitting but unfortunately I never got there.
Time to mention Michael Norman among this elite group.He has already run a 43.45 at 21 yrs old and a 43.06 in a relay. Come 2020 in Tokyo, he has a very good chance of breaking the WR.
Quincy Watts was GETTIN' DOWN on the backstretch of his race! I wonder what his split was for the first 200 meters, and also between 100 and 300 meters.

Used to do upper 50 to flat 60 400 meter tempos, all day long, in my distance workouts over a decade ago. These days just wanting to get in better shape; and these vids do help :p
