The idea that masses of tech could be lost by the destruction of blueprints is... kinda shit. Were all the people who had anything to do with writing the blueprints also on board? Sure it would be inconvenient to lose them, kinda like how losing save progress makes you want to throw things, but much like losing save progress, you can do it all again. Real life technological collapses are very rare, and require societal collapses which make the benefits of the technology irrelevant for a period of generations such as the bronze age collapse or the more famous Roman collapse.

Torture mastery got giga nerfed, hp spell cost is x3 now, curse of pain barely heals the hp you lost to cast the spell lol. Better to play hydras to block a path and heal on hydras with drain spell, works really well when you're in trouble. Take hellfire and shadowbolt or laser as 2 other spells.

In the dungeons of Dark and Darker, there are no friendlies, just an opportunity to hit it and quit it with the loot.

If I understand correctly, you are stating that dark and darker is fun again. The reason being: there are tons of players. first time seeing your channel, so I don't know your mannerisms or joking style. That being said, I am led to believe you are joking about it being saved due to the influx of trash players that you are able to stomp. Personally, I am a very consistent player and do not think the game is "saved." Sure there are more players in normal games and it feels like you are "better" at the game... but you are not better, the enemies are worse. The matter of fact is more players is HUGE when it comes to how playing an extraction game feels. I do agree, more players is more fun! Where I highly disagree is the "saved" aspect. I want this game to stand the test of time. Currently, there is a bit of an issue regarding HR populations. In theory normals is a great place for new players to learn the map and mobs in each expedition. In reality many meet players like yourself. I do not think that is inherently bad, but I do think it is bad for the game. As Ironmace has said in the past: there is no endgame or solid gameplay loop. HR was never the final answer. My point here is that you are essentially doing nothing within the game but fighting new players and rudimentary pve and as players get better they will start getting bored... In the same fashion everyone of the 500k players who originally purchased the game through the blacksmith launcher. Sure, giving direct access through steam and marketing the game to millions will shoot up the player count, but is the game near ready? I personally do not think so. Is the game saved if you want to PvP in normals? kind of... but that is one aspect of the game.
