This is really interesting. I come from ArmA and I definitielly prefer Mouse&Keyboard over joystick there. It just provides you with a better feel and connection with your vehicle, especially while aiming, the game is simply build like that. Unlike say Take On Helicopters, a game on the same engine, but a typical joyistick game. Now I just got into Planetside and imidiatelly tried flying and quickly realized that this is not going to work, this is a typical joystick game. Yet you play with M&K.

As someone who flies extensively in the game, I find flying a Galaxy is a much easier thing if you have a shady internet connection or sub-average computer. Dogfighting isn't as intense in the Galaxies and it's much more forgiving in terms of flight errors. The Reaver/Mossy/Scythes are the hardest birds to fly with poor performance, as a great deal of their purpose revolves around air to air or air to ground engagements... Galaxies your only purpose is to fly straight, unless you go NOE.
Whilst it does take a lot of grinding, it can be done. I did buy them with SC since they are very helpful to grind and farm certs! But yeah, it is totally possible, I currently have 850 certs on my character banked up for my next video so its not impossible by any means :).
Can you make a video of the other nations and their velicles? Also can you play on foot (not in a velicle) if so can you carry something like a rocket luncher to take down velicles?

I have recently purchased the flares and am doing much better with it. I made the mistake to get the nanites, an error I will correct as soon as i have the certs to spare to get the composite armor. Though the flares were already a game changer enough. Again: Amazing flying! I wish I flew half as good as you.
From some of the other clips I've seen on TH-cam, dogfighting seems to take a good internet connection. If you don't have one, the other fighters jump around, making accuracy nonexistent. Would you recommend I try being a Galaxy pilot if my connection is insufficient, or will I witness problems there, too?
Continuation: The thing is though, ArmA (or Operation Flashpoint for that matter) was equally painful to get the feel for flying in the beginning. Now with M&B I can fly it as intuitively as ride a bycicle, but the start was just embarrasing. It all kind of puts planetside flying into a new light. Well if you can fly it like this, maybe it's the same thing and maybe I'll get a grasp of it with time and practise. I don't know. The fact that you fly with M&B in standard settings make my head spin.
How many hours of flying do you have? Ive been playing ps2 for some time now and cant seem to get the reaver down i but am gonna try to stay at it and when i die go to VR and practice tell i can spawn another reaver. You make it look to easy. Also do you have standard mouse and keyboard ?
Is it just me or does your version of the game look really good... I maxed the game out and flew around in a reaver and it looked no where near as good ad your video...

Keep an eye out for my next video which should help you out a lot! I generally stick to all default key bindings and mouse sensitivity though.

Terminal is a good thing to have on the breacker rocket so U can se in the smoke, night and infantry
