    Great video. Cera Trim is the real deal. 08/06/23 just did the first coat of my 2500 Avalanche 2017 in Colorado Springs C0. UV is just a Killer here in Colorado Springs and my bleached out grey vinyl trim sucked. My wife just kind of laughed at me this stuff would work. WELL she CRAPPED when she came out an hour later. It took a little elbow grease wiping it on but wow IT WORKED ABOUT 90%. I have not applied a 2nd coat yet.

    Another really great review! Only two things have ever worked for me: 1. Using a heat gun and 2. Cerakote vinyl restore wipes. You have to be careful with the heat gun and cerakote will show high spots if it does not go on evenly.

    • @seventeen9718
      @seventeen9718 ปีที่แล้ว

      DO NOT use a heat gun. It does release some of the oils from the plastic below and has the best results, but as it's drawing the oils up it leaves the plastic below brittle, and thus much more likely to break.

Then do not let the surface that the product was applied to get wet for 6hr. If done as described by the directions on the bottle correctly. Solution finish beats all of these products hands down for look and durability. It's the absolute best black trim restorer on the market that I've found period end of discussion.

    Unfortunately you made a big mistake with solution finish you're supposed to wipe off the excess after each coat. By far solution finish is the best trim restorer on the market hands down.

      Check out some of my other trim longevity tests. While it didn't last the longest, it was one of the longer lasting ones.

    NO to the music! Why do you think we need loud "music" of your choice while we watch a review video? Do you not know how annoying heavy bass electronic music is in most settings other than a Rave or EDP event?? Ugh.
