I think Barry ending up in a universe where George Clooney is Batman is Warner’s way of getting rid of Ezra Miller. Batman Brave and the bold will take place in the new DCU where Ezra Miller’s Flash doesn’t exist. At least that’s how I interpreted that ending. I don’t think George Clooney will be the DCU Batman.
Putting Ezra in the ret-conned Clooney-verse (now separate from the Keaton-verse), let's them keep him there, and bring in a new actor/flash for Gunn's brave and the bold universe, since Ezra is a legal hot potato.

Maybe Clooney has the beard because he isnt Batman anymore? What if Barry landed in the Batman Beyond universe, and Clooney is mentoring a younger Batman? I know the building architecture isnt futuristic, but it doesn't have to be. The main story of Batman having a protege still plays out the same, regardless of whether the city is futuristic or not. Also, what if Arthur is just the DCEU version because Barry managed to get back?
Even if they settle with Clooney as the new, older Batman, I'm fine with it. He's a good actor. People harp on his stint as Batman but he also did Syriana, Michael Clayton, and Out of Sight to name a few. Problem with this, however, is he's already in his early 60s and considering how long these movie franchises are supposed to be made, he'd be playing Bats well into his 70s. 8:00 is that Jim Lee in the lower right?
Only had 3 issues with this movie: 1) The villain was too swiftly overcome. I felt like there should have been more of a moral dilemma for Barry #2. 2) Missed op for a ‘letter from Batmans parents’ moment 3) WHO WHAT WHY DID BARRYS MUM DIE?! Perhaps they left this for a sequel (that will never be :( )
They left it out on purpose since the reverse flash is the one who set the events in motion by killing barrys mother, this was in the comics and the tv show
Just literally out of the cinema after seeing it! I enjoyed the film but felt the cgi was very dodgy looking in a few scenes but other than that, I liked it. The scene between barry and his mother in the shop was heartbreaking and some solid acting.
Uncanny valley took me out of the film every time the two Barry's were in frame for closeups. I always compare multi character scenes to anything in Orphan Black. That show is still the bar.
Brave and The Bold could be Chris O’Donnell being Batman after Clooney passed over the mantle. Makes sense because I don’t think he isn’t Batman anymore because when Barry sees him he is sporting a beard and Batman wouldn’t have that. Robin is Damian Wayne.
My theory on "The Beard" is that this is a retired Batman & possibly Dick or Terry replaced him, therefore Barry may actually be in the Batman Beyond Universe........
Actually Barbara was paralyzed in The New 52 but she regained the use of her legs this was explained in Batgirl New 52. She had surgery to repair the spinal damage caused by the jokers bullet. I read those books so I might as well use that knowledge for something.

I think this movie could have ended poorly if they brought back the burtonverse villains (Nicholson joker, devito penguin, pffifer cat woman, max shreck, Carrey riddler, etc). If they did this it would definitely have been a very Mcu thing to do so I’m glad they didn’t go this way. Also Nicholson joker and devito penguin are my favorite versions of the villains

They want a mid 30s early 30s Batman for Gunns universe. The last scene is basically is a safety backup in case they want to use Ezra again but which is unlikely and if dont they leave Ezra’s flash in that timeline stuck and get another flash actor that would be apart of gunns dc universe.
I think Gunn wouldn't touch anything and leave everything as it is now but use THE IDEA that Barry's time travel change things in every universe , like in that earth Barry is now, Aquaman is same but not the Batman so in that same way in Gunn's new DC universe some old characters will look the same but many characters would be different...
I give the movie a 7....it could have gotten an 8 if the CGI wasn't atrocious. Plus the ending scene with Clooney was weird because Ezra looks very strange....like too much make up or something. I actually also didn't like that they recast the father. I like Billy Cudrup a lot. The Michael Keeton scenes are awesome. Was amazing to see him back. Also I really loved the supergirl character. I hope they bring her back. Sasha Calle is phenomenal and just brought so much depth to the character. I think that's where Snyder messed up with Cavil. It's like with Luke Skywalker, Superman is always played the same. Always seen as a beacon of hope and innocence. With supergirl it's different. The scene where she finds out Zod killed Kal El and the emotion behind her yell.....also I think it would have been insane and incredible if actually they brought Cavil in to play Zod in this universe.

How old they are, because life experiences play a huge role in how someone judges or perceives someone. What he did was heinous, committed a crime, and should be penalized for it. He may have been in his mid to late 20s when this happened, but we don't know none of us(unless you're an actor) how much of a monster Hollywood really is. So many factors could of played a part in his decision-making in which he obviously needed help with. Again not making an excuse for him, but that why i believe in 2nd chances as a counselor for the last 20 years.
I can see Clooney being the retired Batman mentor to a younger actor a la Batman Beyond. Maybe even throw in a Nightwing cameo. That would be kinda awesome.
Could be a good set up for the sequel, I could see him realizing that he spent so much time on freeing his dad that he never stopped to think who actually killed his mom and make Thawne the main villain

While I understand the Clooney’s cameo, but had writers had a clue they could have used this final scene to introduce a new actor playing Batman, although I guess since they are wiping the slate clean, and rebooting the DC cinematic universe.
I want to see Batman dark metal either animated or live action or CG. It would be so cool to see the darker Batman in action along with Dino Batman and monster truck Batman. DC should really look into the comic vault and bring out some of the heros we barly know like red tornado and appichie chief.
If they really fleshed out the DC multiverse - several movies a year - they definitely could do the dark metal story line, would have to start with infinite crisis story buttttt that could be done quickly, I would say about 5 years of build up movies would be perfect for death metal
Maybe if you look at it a certain way, this locks this version of the flash out of dc going forward. Like if this Barry continues to go back and "fix things" he keeps coming back to find something is different. Like he goes back shifts the tomatoes two feet to the left, comes back and it's the Superman returns Superman and not his. So he's endlessly trying to fix things, stuck in his broken universe cycle. And all the while a new world is created with a new Superman, Batman etc.

Ok, I think there's a major plothole in this that no one is noticing. Barry is certain that Henry didn't kill his mother. Which means he must realise that someone else did. That someone could be anyone, but it is someone other than Henry. So, why would he even think for a second that making it so his dad didn't leave the house would change the timeline to make his mother still alive? How would that possibly make sense? If Henry was in a different room in the house instead of being at the store, whoever stabbed Nora (probably the reverse flash) would still have stabbed her. If Henry was in the kitchen with her, whoever stabbed Nora would still have stabbed her and possibly even Henry too. (Although I believe the reverse flash wanted Barry to experience an instant tragedy (Nora's death) and a prolonged tragedy (Henry going to prison) so I think he may have still only killed Nora.) Either way, though, Barry must've realised that whoever did kill Nora, would logically still go to the house regardless of Henry being there or not. He doesn't need to know it was the reverse flash, he doesn't even need to know who it was at all. It could be Jim McJimson from 3 doors down, it doesn't matter.He should still realise that someone else stabbed her and would logically still stab her regardless of Henry being there or not. To me, this is a plot hole purely because Barry making his dad be home is what successfully saved his mother. The only logical explanation for this is that, like the show, future Barry and Eobard are fighting in the house (and somehow kid Barry doesn't hear it) and Eboard is only able to stab his mother due to fighting with Barry. If Eobard came alone to kill young Barry, he would've succeeded easily with no one to stop him. The same goes for if he wanted to kill Nora. One other non-speedster in the house would make no difference to her dying.
You’re thinking of it in terms of the tv show. The movie explains it was someone going to rob their house. If the house was empty no one would’ve been stabbed. Since it wasn’t, she was. It’s not reverse flash or anyone like that. Just a random burglar. Who wouldn’t have killed anyone had no one been home.

Seriously George Clooney is the last Bruce Wayne I expected to make a cameo in the movie judging from the past bad reviews on Batman and Robin. So when he did reveal his face in the ending, I thought it is the most hilarious and WTF moment in the DC world. 😆 And I would never have thought George Clooney would even agree to do the cameo. But back then I actually enjoyed watching Batman and Robin. I felt it is time WB do justice to Batman and Robin. By bringing Clooney and Chris O'Donnell back and doing it right this time.

I just taken it as he just ending up in GC Batman’s world instead of his own and that gives them a reason to reboot the flash later on down the line.

I feel like since Ezra’s Flash is in Clooneys universe then that means The Flash in the new DCU will be a different actor.
While I understand the Clooney’s cameo, but had writers had a clue they could have used this final scene to introduce a new actor playing Batman, although I guess since they are wiping the slate clean, and rebooting the DC cinematic universe.

I want to see Batman dark metal either animated or live action or CG. It would be so cool to see the darker Batman in action along with Dino Batman and monster truck Batman. DC should really look into the comic vault and bring out some of the heros we barly know like red tornado and appichie chief.

If they really fleshed out the DC multiverse - several movies a year - they definitely could do the dark metal story line, would have to start with infinite crisis story buttttt that could be done quickly, I would say about 5 years of build up movies would be perfect for death metal
Maybe if you look at it a certain way, this locks this version of the flash out of dc going forward. Like if this Barry continues to go back and "fix things" he keeps coming back to find something is different. Like he goes back shifts the tomatoes two feet to the left, comes back and it's the Superman returns Superman and not his. So he's endlessly trying to fix things, stuck in his broken universe cycle. And all the while a new world is created with a new Superman, Batman etc.

Ok, I think there's a major plothole in this that no one is noticing. Barry is certain that Henry didn't kill his mother. Which means he must realise that someone else did. That someone could be anyone, but it is someone other than Henry. So, why would he even think for a second that making it so his dad didn't leave the house would change the timeline to make his mother still alive? How would that possibly make sense? If Henry was in a different room in the house instead of being at the store, whoever stabbed Nora (probably the reverse flash) would still have stabbed her. If Henry was in the kitchen with her, whoever stabbed Nora would still have stabbed her and possibly even Henry too. (Although I believe the reverse flash wanted Barry to experience an instant tragedy (Nora's death) and a prolonged tragedy (Henry going to prison) so I think he may have still only killed Nora.) Either way, though, Barry must've realised that whoever did kill Nora, would logically still go to the house regardless of Henry being there or not. He doesn't need to know it was the reverse flash, he doesn't even need to know who it was at all. It could be Jim McJimson from 3 doors down, it doesn't matter.He should still realise that someone else stabbed her and would logically still stab her regardless of Henry being there or not. To me, this is a plot hole purely because Barry making his dad be home is what successfully saved his mother. The only logical explanation for this is that, like the show, future Barry and Eobard are fighting in the house (and somehow kid Barry doesn't hear it) and Eboard is only able to stab his mother due to fighting with Barry. If Eobard came alone to kill young Barry, he would've succeeded easily with no one to stop him. The same goes for if he wanted to kill Nora. One other non-speedster in the house would make no difference to her dying.

You’re thinking of it in terms of the tv show. The movie explains it was someone going to rob their house. If the house was empty no one would’ve been stabbed. Since it wasn’t, she was. It’s not reverse flash or anyone like that. Just a random burglar. Who wouldn’t have killed anyone had no one been home.

That moment of Barry's mom get killed basically a fixed point, they can try altered the reality but in the end it will destroy the universe on it.

When I was a kid I loved Batman & Robin, I remember seeing it in theaters when I was 5. But seeing it again when i was in my 20s it was so bad that it was kinda a good time to watch.
Such a good fun movie. CGI could have been a lot better and I mean A LOT BETTER but I still loved this movie👌

Finally when DC was starting to make sense and deliver great movies, with Keaton’s Batman and Sasha’s Supergirl entering main DCU and Cavill’s Superman returning, James Gunn nuked the hell out of the The Flash’s ending! I’m speechless seeing such a WTF ending to such a great movie!

Seriously George Clooney is the last Bruce Wayne I expected to make a cameo in the movie judging from the past bad reviews on Batman and Robin. So when he did reveal his face in the ending, I thought it is the most hilarious and WTF moment in the DC world. 😆 And I would never have thought George Clooney would even agree to do the cameo. But back then I actually enjoyed watching Batman and Robin. I felt it is time WB do justice to Batman and Robin. By bringing Clooney and Chris O'Donnell back and doing it right this time.
