The mirror part turned out great! I think a cork board covered with linen or drop cloth would be cute, I agree I think it should go above the wainscoting!
Wow, that spray paint is amazing! I can think of some uses for it in my own home. I would add the mirror to the bottom of the window. I would also suggest moving up the installation of the window on the wall, so it doesn't overlap the wainscoting below. I think it would make the window stand out more as a prominent piece on the wall. Then, I would add a simple green wreath with a pretty satin bow to the top of the window for a nice spring display! So beautiful! 🎀🎀
Andrea, you always have such unique ideas. Sorry this window mirror is not doing it for me. Not sure why the bottom extends below the wainscoting. To me it looks like it needs to go higher on the wall, ie: the entire window above the wainscoting. I much preferred your grandfather's chest on that wall, with a mirror above it. Of course, it is your home and you have to do you.
Thank you for your honesty Mary, I love the window, but of course I am still not 100% on this room yet with all the different pieces, regardless it was an easy project and I love the results! 😊😊
I agree with Mary. Mirror hung way too low. It messes with the visual lines of your wainscotting. I'm not sure I like it here at all. Love the idea of the mirror coating on the window panes, however.
I agree abt the mirror being too low. I love the window, and I love that you did the mirroring. I think maybe putting glass in the big section, and making it mirrored would be great. And though I like the small panes mirrored, I think either some of your artwork would be great, or taking pics of your family would look nice in the small panes. Age the photos, and put in all 6 panes, or just three of them, with the others left mirrored. I love how you stilled your shelves. You are so classy, and very talented.
@Tracy - or leave the small panes mirrored and put a big, beautiful family photo in the bottom ! And if I could paint like Andrea does, I’d be displaying my pictures everywhere !
I agree. Raise it up. Loving the mirror! I even like the blank bottom…but a mirror would be cool. Andrea! Do your art in that spot! I have a couple of old mirrors that have paintings in the bottom!
I have lots of old windows and just might try this! I think the bottom would look better with a wreath or some other artwork and you’re probably tired of hearing it but I agree it should be raised up above the rail. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!
For my eye, the window needs to be raised above the chair rail. I think for now, I would hang a wreath in the bottom. The top mirrored panes look great.😊❤️
I love your mirror window. For the bottom half, because your a wonderful artist you could paint a scene as if you were really looking out a window 😊. Love your channel
It looks amazing Andrea! I was thinking…if you turned the window on it’s side and add one of your beautiful paintings that you could change out with season, decor ect. But it’s absolutely gorgeous the way it is, just a suggestion ❤️
Love it!! I actually bought an old mirrored window years ago and hung it over my sink. I loved that it brought more light into my kitchen. It never occurred to me that you could spray paint an old window to create mirrors! So brilliant!
Looks beautiful, but I also agree that it would look better higher - not only because of the chair rail, but I think that the center piece should be the highest point - just my opinion - feel free to say “oh, what do you know ? ! “ - lol - glad you got an easy project after what hard work you put in on the floors ! I used a beautiful old chippy window which turned out to be the exact size of an iconic New Orleans poster I love - I have to admit that I took it to Michael’s because I wanted it perfect with artist non-glare glass and wow, is it cool - so my bedroom in Florida is a tribute to my home town - the gal at Michaels, when I went to pick it up, told me if I didn’t like it, several people who worked there would buy it from me ! LOL - sadly, for them, I LOVED it ! Thank you for sharing today - I’ve never worked with that mirror product before - Blessings to you from sunny, warm in March, Central Florida 😍
Hi Andrea!I like the window very much!I would love to see the bottom part done with glass and mirror painted !I think it is and would be very nice and effective!!I would maybe hang it a little higher above the woodwork!?Your home is so adorable!!!Enjoy!!!😁💕
Andrea, My comment is not about the window that you made into a beautiful mirror. I was wondering if you have ever considered putting the hutch on the wall that the mirrors and shelves are on? It would look great on the larger wall and create a beautiful focal point. The shelves and mirror could be on the smaller opposite wall that the hutch is now on. I loved your corner cabinet and with this new layout it could still be there. The cabinet gave so much charm and class to the room💕
I love the mirror there looks great but i was thinking it needs to come up off the board on the bottom but if you like it e it the way you have it. I love your home and your website as well
Wow!!!! Who knew there was such a spray?!?! 🤷🏻♀️ I actually like it the way it is. You have a way about keeping your decor simple. I find the way it looks, is very unique, and adds charm.
Hi Andrea! Well I like the mirror effect. I think I would just keep it like you have it and leave the bottom as is. The only reason I say this is that with that blank slate on the bottom, you can do whatever you want: add a basket w/florals, add a wreath, add a picture, add a frame within the frame. Lots of possibilities depending on your mood. I feel like it should be higher on the wall just for proportion's sake, but really, if you're positioning it that way for a different vibe, then go for it! The window is super unique. and a great find!
Well, hope you wanted opinions cuz you got ‘em ! I think it’s really nice that people feel they can give you their opinions, in a respectful way - I think it shows that we feel we have a bond with you !
Hi Andrea I do agree to raise it above the chair rail and a bit higher than the tops of your shelves.. Everything you do is terrific but this is what I would do.
Not a huge fan of the mirrored window in the dinning room. However, I would like to see it in another room in your house. I just have to say again that I loved your grandfather's dresser and the round mirror on that wall. Always loved the different ways you styled the top of the dresser. The different flowering branches and greens you placed on the dresser multiple times softened all of the rectangles in the room as did the round mirror. Loved the corner hutch. I think that the dresser and corner hutch were the perfect proportions for that room. Absolutely adore seeing your children and watching your videos. I think that so many of your subscribers dream about having a home as beautiful as yours. I thank God for the gift of you Andrea and all of your wisdom and inspiration You are are a gem.
Wow fantastic job. I would live with the project as it is for a while. You could use the space for a wreath 👍. Maybe raise it up to be about 4inches above the boards. Good job 👍
I love it I think I would go ahead and have the bottom part as a mirror as well and I would move it up a little bit higher to looks like it is settling on the wood My husband's friend sold his house and he had like 30 old windows so that's been said I ended up with them all I have thought of different ways to do them but I'm going to do a mirror with one so thank you for such great idea
Hi I think the full mirror would look nice , I love old windows something I need to start looking for. Love your curly hair! Thanks for sharing Andrea 🤩
I didn’t know you could get a mirror spray! Cool project. Thanks for sharing. I don’t know if this appeals to you but you could wrap a piece of foam core board with vintage or vintage looking fabric. Then you could pin a picture to it, family pics, a quote and change it out for the seasons. You could even pin a wreath to it.
I used this paint for my daughter's wedding reception. I bought giant glass vases from Dollar Tree. Mist the inside with water. Immediately spray the inside of the vase with the mirror paint. Then take a dry paper towel and immediately dry the water out of the vase. Look at the outside of the vase, looks like mercury glass! Refilled them with fresh flowers and put one on each table, everyone thought they were antique vases!
Your spouses’s parishioners must love to come to your home, Love the sprayed mirrors. If possible, perhaps you could find a piece of glass for the bottom section, and spray it the same. Also, would you please consider raising the mirror above the lower paneling?
Hey Andrea wow 😮 love the mirror effect perhaps you should consider just leaving the bottom portion of it as is and perhaps add a basket or wreath on the wall 👏
Hi Andrea. You are the 1st person I’ve seen who JUST used the spray. Many spray vinegar water , then the spray , then dab and then paint over all that when dry ! That gives the really old, old vintage looking mirror. But how easy was this process ! Half the reason I don’t try is the vinegar and spray , then the dabbing !!! I’m nervous I will mess up my old window! LOL!! THANK YOU for sharing this. I feel much better about doing this now ! I don’t know what to suggest as far as adding more mirror to the bottom or leaving it! Yvonne @ Ginger Chick does “transfers or tissue paper” on the glass and then does the mirror affect. I don’t know how you feel about a permanent ( well nothing is permanent on glass only BREAKS…😬) but I don’t know if you like graphics or images on glass. So hard to decide…maybe leave it and think on it 👍 ! LOL!! I’m so helpful right ? Hugs to you ! 💛💛🌞💛💛
Yes, just the spray and it honestly worked so well, I love it! I hope you are able to try it Jane, let me know what you think! I hope you have a wonderful week 😊😊
I definitely think you need to add the mirror on the bottom because it looks odd hanging below the wainscot. Also, I have done this technique but added vinegar spritz to make it look old. I love how it turned out. If you try it, practice on a piece of glass and google on Pinterest - lots of people have the steps.
I like it, but I think that if you're not going to do the bottom then I would raise it so that the trim on the wall isn't showing through the opening. Thank you for sharing this product.
I love it but I would either do the bottom the same or put a piece of art (pastoral setting) on the bottom or a peg board or blackboard in the bottom portion but it is completely up to you
What a great project I will give it a try. Your family is so cute. Does ur husband like the same style of decorating as u do? I love the window and would add a bottom pane to it. Blessings
I love it! I'm so excited to see the chairs you choose. I've been doing some antique shopping (copper shopping for the beams in my kitchen, idea from you) and every time I see a complete set of beautiful chairs, I think " I wish I could let Andrea see these". It's like I'm shopping for a friend, and I'm in North Carolina.
I love windows!…but I don’t know if it looks good there. But of course everything you style is so nice. I’m sure when the room comes all together it’ll be beautiful!
PLEASE raise the window above your wainscoting. A beautiful seasonal picture in the opening would look lovely. I’m liking the bench at the table for your boys. 😃
I remember you sharing this before but what color is your trim and board and batten on the dining space? Im wanting to paint my cabinets and I just keep thinking how beautiful this color you chose is! And then the white on the walls-? Can I ask about that as well? I may need to paint the grey walls to get the same look! But all your pieces looks so pretty together!!! I just love the warmth and coziness of your home!
The window/mirror looks great! My opinion is to not put glass in the bottom. Instead, I think 2 or 3 sprigs of a wispy plant or branches that come up from the bottom, either centered or slightly off center, or even from the bottom corner, leaning in toward the center. It would add some softness, personality and compliment the little greenery plants you have on the side shelves. Overall, it looks awesome!
Love this so much, Andrea!!! I've seen this Mirror Effect spray paint before but never thought to used it. I have an antique window similar to yours that I love so much and a HUGE full-length mirror in the basement that I always figured I'd cut. But this is soooo much easier!! Thanks for the ideas!
Andrea - I love it! What a clever idea. I've never heard of this product. It looks beautiful with the weathered wood. Great job. Have a lovely day my friend. Blessings - Judith 🎵🎭
The mirror part turned out great! I think a cork board covered with linen or drop cloth would be cute, I agree I think it should go above the wainscoting!
Neat project! Cool product! I can see how this can be used on all types of glass vessels as well. I do kind of think the mirror look better higher up?
I thought the same too.. that it would much much better if it was higher
I agree that it should be up above the woodwork!! So pretty though and I’m on the hunt for an old window!!! Thankyou
I was thinking the same thing about moving the window up on the wall !
...but, maybe not the wreath.....I like the simplicity of, just the window
I agree. I think it would look better all mirror and above the wainscoting.
Exactly my thoughts ... yes, seasonal wreaths
Andrea, you always have such unique ideas. Sorry this window mirror is not doing it for me. Not sure why the bottom extends below the wainscoting. I agree with Mary. Mirror hung way too low. It messes with the visual lines of your wainscotting. I'm not sure I like it here at all. Love the idea of the mirror coating on the window panes, however.
Same I hate it. A nice piece of her art would be spectacular. A watercolour with some colors. Too much white and brown in the room
I agree abt the mirror being too low. I love the window, and I love that you did the mirroring. I think maybe putting glass in the big section, and making it mirrored would be great. I love your mirror window. For the bottom half, because your a wonderful artist you could paint a scene as if you were really looking out a window 😊. Love your channel
I thought the same, needs art
Think it would look better higher up and look even better with it all been a mirror love from the uk.
I love the window but I believe it will look better higher ❤️
I think the two coats of spray paint are absolutely perfect! But, please, oh please raise the window up.
It looks amazing Andrea! I was thinking…if you turned the window on it’s side and add one of your beautiful paintings that you could change out with season, decor ect. But it’s absolutely gorgeous the way it is, just a suggestion ❤️

Very nice! Since you asked, I would leave well enough alone. It looks interesting the way it is, more mirror might look too much.
Looks beautiful, but I also agree that it would look better higher - not only because of the chair rail, but I think that the center piece should be the highest point - just my opinion - feel free to say “oh, what do you know ? ! “ - lol - glad you got an easy project after what hard work you put in on the floors ! Love the antique mirror look … maybe move it above the wainscoting…equidistant spacing above and below the shelving ..
Wow!!!! Who knew there was such a spray?!?! 🤷🏻♀️ I actually like it the way it is. You have a way about keeping your decor simple. I find the way it looks, is very unique, and adds charm.
Thank you so much Rosa! ❤

Everything you do is terrific but this is what I would do.
I like everything. Nothing is ugly. Keep the good work and God Bless
I’ve used that before and it’s pretty incredible!
It looks authentic love it!
I love the antiqued look, thank you ❤❤
Thats a great idea spraying the window, I think I have one in the garage. Project 1 for Spring
I think it would be beautiful higher and add some artwork in middle( maybe a vintage frame less piece)?
and Mrs T Love the window projest but think it should be a bit higher up so to be above the wainscoting

Thank you so much for your sweet words 😊
I think it looks awesome the way it is!
Oh Andrea !!! What a cool project. It’s absolutely beautiful!
Love the effect. To look more of a mirror though I think take the bottom hinge and line it up on the other side.
So cool though.
I am so glad they have made a product like this and I love this old window, it's a perfect mirror. Thanks for sharing the mirror and product.
Wow fantastic job. I would live with the project as it is for a while. You could use the space for a wreath 👍. Maybe raise it up to be about 4inches above the boards. Good job 👍
Very beautiful! I do like the idea of it all being a mirror.
What a beautiful piece. I can see an antique ironstone platter hanging above it. 😉
I have done that! Love my window mirror
Love as is now...Beautiful home you have created...
I have made a ton of those and sold them
It works great
I would definitely do the bottom as well. What a great paint! Thanks for sharing!
Do the whole window. Also change it up higher. Great idea.
Great project. I’m loving it too
Perfect as it is now 😍
I love it I think I would go ahead and have the bottom part as a mirror as well and I would move it up a little bit higher to looks like it is settling on the wood My husband's friend sold his house and he had like 30 old windows so that's been said I ended up with them all I have thought of different ways to do them but I'm going to do a mirror with one so thank you for such great idea
Turned out beautiful!
Love it the way it is, but, I think it would look lovely to add glass to the rest of it and spray it like the top also. Give it that finished look!💖
Thank you, I am really considering it! 😊
You have such an eye for design! Love!
Fabulous. The wood and mirror is great. Add the glass and more mirror.
The mirror needs to be placed above the trim.
Hi I think the full mirror would look nice , I love old windows something I need to start looking for. Love your curly hair! Thanks for sharing Andrea 🤩
It turned out very beautiful 😍
Love how the window turned out. I will definitely do one of my old windows. Great idea. Thanks for the inspiration. 😊
That looks like it was made for that space! I love it
Thank you, I was so excited about it! 😊

I think one of your natural baskets with very light and wispy greenery inside the bottom part would be cute.
I like that idea too or perhaps a wreath made of just greenery.
@@michelehayes9509 She has great natural baskets. I figured she’d have plenty on hard, already, to experiment with.
I’m more in love wreaths everyday.
I love the mirror effect. Maybe a simple green wreath on the bottom part. :)
Your spouses’s parishioners must love to come to your home, Love the sprayed mirrors. If possible, perhaps you could find a piece of glass for the bottom section, and spray it the same. Also, would you please consider raising the mirror above the lower paneling?

I don’t know how you feel about a permanent ( well nothing is permanent on glass only BREAKS…😬) but I don’t know if you like graphics or images on glass.
So hard to decide…maybe leave it and think on it 👍 ! LOL!! I’m so helpful right ?
Hugs to you ! 💛💛🌞💛💛
Yes, just the spray and it honestly worked so well, I love it! I hope you are able to try it Jane, let me know what you think! I hope you have a wonderful week 😊😊
Love that look too! I would do the bottom glass as it will fit your look in this room,…just my opinion🥰🙏🙏🙏I’m trying this product!
That project turned out so amazing! I never knew that there was that sort of spay that could make mirrors! I love it!!!!
Yes, I was so excited as well, thank you Diane! ❤
Love it! I would do the bottom also.
Looks great. I was very apprehensive but it came out great😊
Thank you so much! 😊😊

Looks great! Would be beautiful to paint a landscape to insert in the bottom portion so it would look like you are seeing through a window.
Looks great and unique as is, but it will look beautiful either way!🪞🪞🪞
Love, love, love it!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Thank you so much Sherry! 😊
Wow, looks so good!
Thank you Tammy! ❤
love the window!! so cool!
Turned real cool love it 💕🤗
I like it, but I think that if you're not going to do the bottom then I would raise it so that the trim on the wall isn't showing through the opening. Thank you for sharing this product.
Definitely doing this!
Love this unique idea! It turned out great! I think you should try adding the mirror on the bottom half. Love your channel! ❤

I like that! I have never heard of that product before and didn’t know you could do that. Thank you Andrea!!
I was so excited to share it with you all, I hope you are able to try it as well! ❤
Love the window💛
I really love the window! So really cool 😊. Can’t wait to see the finish 👍. Take care ❤️
I love it but I would either do the bottom the same or put a piece of art (pastoral setting) on the bottom or a peg board or blackboard in the bottom portion but it is completely up to you
Amazing product. Turned out great. Maybe hang a tiny wreath in bottom part of window😊
I love it as it is!!!! Great job❤️
Your hubby is the best
What a great project I will give it a try. Your family is so cute. Does ur husband like the same style of decorating as u do? I love the window and would add a bottom pane to it. Blessings
That product is amazing stuff.
Your meatloaf looks good !
Love the window.
Love the curly hair.
I would leave it curly, you're lucky.
Aw thank you Carol, you are so sweet! 😊😊
I love it!

Looks great!!
It would be cute with a flower box or shelf on it.
I love windows!…but I don’t know if it looks good there. But of course everything you style is so nice. I’m sure when the room comes all together it’ll be beautiful!
Thank you so much ❤❤
Andrea, it’s so lovely. ✨
Thank you so much Sarah ❤❤
PLEASE raise the window above your wainscoting. A beautiful seasonal picture in the opening would look lovely. I’m liking the bench at the table for your boys. 😃
Soo cool Andrea!! Love it😊
I remember you sharing this before but what color is your trim and board and batten on the dining space? Thank you so much Judith ❤❤
Love you window. I can't wait to see your chairs !
Thank you so much! 😊
Chalkboard on the bottom would also be cool.
New to your channel, love your house, and what a great idea with the window.
