Should have cleaned the framed glass much better before you sprayed it. The glass has to be spotless prior to spraying for the optimum effect. I've done this on clear plastic sheets, plexiglass, lexan, and actual glass and they all came out pretty great. It's not going to be quite as reflective as an actual plated mirror, but it's pretty damn close!
Glass is reflective on its own, and solid things are visible because they reflect light, so you're really just giving the glass a backing to stop the light from the image from continuing through the glass. I'd like to see this done with any plain metallic spraying for comparison.
wondering if you can spray plastics and other materials with this to make a mirror on any object. Normally you just spray the back of the glass to protect the coating then have another paint coating over it to protect it on the other side. But i see no reason why you cann't spray it on the front and uses it unprotected.
Thanks for the video. I have a bathroom mirror with a bad spot where the contractor glued it to the wall. I am trinking of taking it down and sanding/cleaning that one area. I wonder if it would look spectacular or very obvious. What do you think ?
Clean the glass first and *DO NOT THOUCH IT.* If you thouch it then it will leave permanent finger prints. TheDanocracy did a video on this and it worked perfectly fine.
the first hand should cover more, not too much but more spray otherwise the second spray seats away from the glass doesnt fill the porouses and gives a foggy film effect, but as you see the cup is better because the paint collected in it the first spray
Cool, thanks for sharing. I wonder what would happen if you painted the back of that glass black. If it would make the mirror less transparent. ?? I love the candle holder!
LOL! Now I know what I did wrong. Lots of things, but not spraying the inside is the most important one. That and not enough light coats, only a couple of heavy ones. Thank you so much. You're pretty darn easy on the eyes too. If I weren't almost 70 that might be a bad thing to say these days, but as an old lady, I still enjoy seeing nice looking people. Keep posting.
You will clean that glass and try n try and blame it on moist n humidity, but honestly my friend that's what you get. It doesn't give a crystal clear mirror. I've tried everything and went through two cans . Same thing over n over.. God bless
Learned something VERY IMPORTANT from this video so thanks 😊. I WON'T end up spraying the WRONG side of my vase 😮. I would've been choked at the reveal, for sure.
not bad how ever not sure because the glass seem a little dirty , also it looks a little less HD quality then really mirrors but this could be because of your video camera quality. Very very very cool man great video.
Could you try spaying something with that mirror affect paint and clear coating the side that the paint is,my guess is that the class would be like a clear coat so if you paint something with that and clear coat it it might have a mirror affect, just wondering 🤔and were did you get the spray can?
I got the spray can from Home Depot but you can buy it online as well. I do not think it will work with spraying a clear coat over top of the backside (painted side) because a clear coat is just a protective coat over paint. So you would still see the same “foil” color but it would be shinier, not reflective like a mirror.
it works best if after 48 hours you give it an even and very light sanding then recoat it wait 72 hours and with a polishing cloth and compound polish it by hand for as long as it takes to get rid of the uneven surface that our eyes don't see then use a car detailing sealing wax and buff to perfection it looks just as good as any mirror edit: on polish your done when you can slide your finger across it with absolutely no resistance
You wouldn’t be able to use this for the wheels of a car, the mirror side is on the opposite side of where it is you spray the paint on. Therefore the object you are spraying must be clear ie: glass, or plexiglass
Thanks for the information. I'll have to tinker with this for my art projects. What I also need to do is repair a mirror that my yorkie damaged. I don't think this paint is the right solution for that problem.
I did wash the glass, before hand, but it looks like it left streaks on the paint side. I would recommend using an alcohol based cleaner and making sure the side you are spraying is completely clean and see-though. If I had not over looked that detail, it would have been a great mirror! Hope this helps out!
THANK YOU for sharing and doing this, our 1/2 bath mirror has horrible brown spots and it’s one of the cabinet door type mirrors, I’m hoping to be able to remove the oil and renew it! Now here goes the research of how to remove the old mirror reflection. Thank you again
Nice Job!! I have(2) of that same glass dish, plant holder, etc what have you...and I think I will make it like that. Its snowy cold outside ...is this do-able in a basement? Will I get fumagated?
Ben Anton Did I hear you correctly? Ohio? You live in Ohio or Colorado? NE Ohio Here! Good Luck with Your Channel!! Everyone is always looking to see if a new product works and an honest opinion.
Don't see why everyone is complaining. It looks great to me. For something cheap, it gives exactly what I would have imagined. It looks good.
Totally right, Mirror “effect” not actual “mirror” 👍🏼
Exactly looks great
Spraying starts at 3:27
Results at 6:31
3:30 actual testing
The fact that he responds so kindly to those rude comments is incredible 😭❤️
It’s the internet 🤷🏼♂️ rude comments will happen, but just gotta look past it!
Ben Anton I loved this video and you're so positive😀😀😀😀❤️
Thanks! 😊
What a guy. I'm inspired

I like the little vase! I wouldn’t use this to make a real mirror but for the mirrored affect for little things I like it!
It works perfect for things like that!
He literally talked for 2 minutes. Who cares. Some people like to be informed. Let him live
Kristen Gausselin you so want him in your bed lol
SILVERSTRIPE PSN lmaoooo
Kristen Gausselin lol
We all know he need that 10 minutes video for ads etc..
Well he should talk after showing the spray and reveal. That way if you care you can watch long and if you don’t you can move on.
That did work!
Only HIM ii
Did it!?

Probably just a lower grade of what they've made mirrors with for years. I like the look, could be fun to play with. Thanks for testing it
Worked great, clean the glass before starting the coats
Now I kind of want to buy the mirror spray paint
Im like so buying it and am going to do with good friends
Sarah Kwak same
Thanks ! I have always been curious about that spray!!
Thanks Ben
Does this work good on a cracked car rear view mirror ? The side mirror ??
It did work but it was streaky because you used wipes and didn't dry it
Question, if you painting inside of a glass with it and let it dry, can you use it for drinking cold liquids?

what if i put clear coat on other side, will it make look like mirror too?
Thank you. You truly inspired me to do something. Where do I buy the spray?
Lowes has it. Amazon, etc..
Thanks for the video. I have a bathroom mirror with a bad spot where the contractor glued it to the wall. I am trinking of taking it down and sanding/cleaning that one area. I wonder if it would look spectacular or very obvious. What do you think ?

I can't believe it came out so nice! I'm trying to restore an antique mirror..
What is name of this mirror spry.please reply.what can we use this can for tea of coffee
Thicker the glass turn to a better mirror . 👍🏻
I wonder how this mirror effect differs from just using silver/gray paint....would you be willing to test the two side by side?
Sounds like a good experiment! I will try to get a video up and compare!
That's dope, I didn't expected the results it looks like chrome.
I was surprised as well!
Thoroughly done.I like it.Thanks for sharting
i want to use that on my window for privacy will you do that on brown window please if what look like outside
Will it break when I look at it just like a real mirror?
Armando Gonzalez 😂😭
Do u know how I can make my old mirror new again?Nice video by the way thanks
Cool, thanks for sharing. I wonder what would happen if you painted the back of that glass black. If it would make the mirror less transparent. ?? I love the candle holder!
I have an antique mirror with some black scratches in it. Do you think that I could repair it with this?? Hmmm
Is it save to use as a normal cup for drinks since its not natural? or just for an ornament?
I'm glad that you explained the process so well.
? Brother can it be used on metal
It seems like the better quality the glass is the better the mirror will look?
LOL! Now I know what I did wrong. Lots of things, but not spraying the inside is the most important one. That and not enough light coats, only a couple of heavy ones. Thank you so much. It works, great job , thank you
How about if you were doing decorative strips would you suggest gold mirror spray paint Or decorative gold tape 🤔
What is the name of that spray please?
What if you did it on plastic?
Thanks! Gonna try this
thanks
The vase is super cool
You will clean that glass and try n try and blame it on moist n humidity, but honestly my friend that's what you get. It doesn't give a crystal clear mirror. I've tried everything and went through two cans . Same thing over n over..
God bless
I'd really like to do a wall size for my son who's big into working out. Any chance you could try it out on plexiglass and give us some pointers?
Where can i buy this??? Do they have it in ikea?
Thanks - this really helped me out!!!
The result would have been a lot better if you cleaned the surface with denatured alcohol or some kind of non residue cleaner.
Learned something VERY IMPORTANT from this video so thanks 😊. I WON'T end up spraying the WRONG side of my vase 😮. I would've been choked at the reveal, for sure.
Thanks for the review! I have been tempted to try it with my projects.
Thanks for posting this demonstration

Pretty cool. I collect anime figures and I was wondering if I could turn the back glass of my Detolf into a mirror... I think this will do it!!
Sweet job, I did have a bit of trouble hearing what you were saying over the bg music, but the parts I could hear were spot on 👍
Thats cool best detailed mirror in a spray can video yet. Now i can try it with confidence.
the painted side looks like aluminum, pretty cool for little room decorations
Awesome demonstration. I was considering purchasing this paint. So thank you !! Pretty cool activity music too!! Thanks for sharing !!
Nice
Thanks for sharing. I'll definitely give this a try.
Thank you. This was exactly what I needed🙏

Wish u cleaned it woulda been cool to see how clear it was :)

That’s quite the detailed step by step! Hah
I would just buy a mirror
Which side are you applying this to? Thanks.
Turned out really nice luv it..I will be picking up a can
I wonder if this will work on these old apartment mirrors my landlord wont fix. Its chipping and just hideous
How would you do this on say like a set of wheels for a car? Or can you sence the mirror effect is on the back side of the paint?
You wouldn’t be able to use this for the wheels of a car, the mirror side is on the opposite side of where it is you spray the paint on. Therefore the object you are spraying must be clear ie: glass, or plexiglass

Looks great!
6:30 it works
It looks great!
This is bad ass!!!!! The “hoooly shit” was my EXACT reaction!!! 😂😂😂😂 Cool video, buddy!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻

That's pretty impressive. It has a really good finish. Great video too lol
Thank you so much for this. You helped me to make a big decision!
No problem!
Thats wild normally that stuff doesn't work as advertised
Please wash the glass to show whether the mirror effect is a good or just a mediocre one

Good to know. Hope your having a great weekend. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏻👍🏻
You too!
Nice Job!! I have(2) of that same glass dish, plant holder, etc what have you...and I think I will make it like that. Its snowy cold outside ...is this do-able in a basement? Will I get fumagated?
You would probably be ok, but I always recommend using an area with plenty of ventilation!
Ben Anton Did I hear you correctly? Ohio? You live in Ohio or Colorado? NE Ohio Here! Good Luck with Your Channel!! Everyone is always looking to see if a new product works and an honest opinion.
Yes Ohio! I used to be northeast Ohio but have since moved further south. I was visiting my brother in CO in my previous videos
Conclusion: works, make sure you clean the glass nicely
Great video! Thank you for the ideas.
I wish u would have cleaned up the glass before showing it on camera so we could have gotten the full effect
Im surprised it wrkd....
Cool, thanks!
That's so neat! Thanks for the video, I can't wait to try it myself☺
That looks amazing!
