    First of all I just want to say thank you sir. This documentary was solid and very informative and hands down I loved it thank you for sharing some information about your brother. I remember seeing your brother play with Ozzy Osbourne before 1982 I was born and raised in San Francisco 1962. So I was fortunate to see a lot of classic rock and roll. But yes nothing like it was in the 70s 80s and early 90s / let's not forget the sixties or the 50s carrying the anyways thank you so much God bless stay safe. Again very very very informative informative. Just my opinion Joe Dirt west rim Arizona Arizona

    Fortnite enough to have finally met the Rhoads family. Kathy is a sweetheart and Kelle is one cool cat. Unfortunately, I missed Mrs Rhoads by one year. But still an honor to meet the siblings and other family and friends.. Bless them all...

    This family is so beyond talented and gifted as well as limitless there is not much Kelle and his brother randy and sister and mother didn’t accomplish! Randy and his brother Kelle have always been a huge inspiration for me. Would kill to be able to just sit down and listen to more of this mans stories. So genuine and humble because he’s been there and done that

      Well, there was supposed to be a Randy Documentary to be released, but if I remember all the online chatter and gossip correctly, it was either full of inaccurate information ( 100% unauthorized by Delores Rhoads ) about Randy, and/or something to do with who was getting paid if it turned a profit. Again, I'm just going by my memory here, not trying to be an expert on the subject :)

I have tried a few times to leave it alone and somehow can't. Now at 52 yrs young, I have a group of brothers who all grew up together. We are writing some cool songs now! Rock on brutha!

    i have been a musisian since i was 7. my parents played in a country band and thats how we made ends meet.
    the lead guitarist was a music shool teacher. his name was mike keys.
    but my mother wished fir me too play banjo, even tho i was already playing gernan bass in school orch. she was a bass player then. today at 75 she stil plays in malls.
    ive been playing guitar since then.
    mike- was a classical guitarist.
    i learnd the greatness of this music.
    i always wanted- to play like him.
    then- metal happened 80s. whille my entjre school was headbangin, i was invomved in rehearsal every night.
    today..although i feel a failure. Randy - has- opened folks minds to- yes. rock. but the most important: classical. thr most wonderfull beutifull music.

    This glimpse,this intimate look into Randy's life brings a sort of peace to my heart . In 1981-82, I was going through a terribly traumatic time ,not to go on about it but I was literally imprisoned and tortured in some very sick ways as a boy . The ONE THING I was allowed as a possession in my room was a tape player and I had one tape; Diary of a Madman. The haunted lyrics and revealing emotional display in Ozzy's lyrics assured me that my horrific journey was not one of solitude and the combined works of both albums were a relief a cleansing ,if you will but the places that Randy's works were able to take me ... elevated my soul,his guitar playing allowed me to glimpse at the heaven and somehow ascend beyond the MADMAN part of my existence and grip on to POSSIBLE and answered prayers. Kelle,if you see this message somehow, I want you and your family to know that your beautiful soul of a brother , literally saved a desperate young man and allowed me to transcend and believe that there was something majestic and beautiful to live for skating on the edge of the madness and dark . It is because of Randy and Ozzy's gifts that I have been allowed to become the rather "prolific" writer and creator that I have. I express my gratitude today ,to your beautiful mother for embracing and encouraging the gift of music. Thank you Kelle Rhoads for sharing this moment with your family .

    I met Kelle, and Kathy Rhoads at Randy's 30th memorial, at his cemetery in San Bernardino. Kelle is a funny, cool guy. I had pictures taken with him, and he told the same leper joke, at least 3 times. I would like to go to mrs. Rhoads' school again. When I met her there in 1997, she wasn't giving tours. I set up the meeting, and myself and 3 brothers sat with Mrs. Rhoads for 45 minutes. We sat with Delores in the foyer, I think it's called. The big room where she conducted the orchestra decades ago. Kelle gives tours of the school now. I will go back for that!!

I'm not embarrassed to say that when I first started my "Randy Worship" as a teenager in the early '80s, Randy's humility and true passion for the craft of guitar on a deep, Human level was as much of an inspiration to me as Randy's untouchable riffs and sophisticated musicianship. Very insightful! Kelle is pretty damn funny, but the way he interprets music thru art is very different. I've never heard anyone say it like that. Really interesting concept and influence. Of course I'm a major fan of Randy's brilliant playing, and even more so the kind of person he was: humble, dedicated, very serious on stage in that I don't know of any concert Randy played where he was incapacitated, like so many "rock stars" of the 80's were. One more year alive and that third record with Ozzy would've been amazing, and just as big a leap as "Diary" was from "Blizzard." Such a gentle and gifted man dying in a stupid freak plane crash seems to be just wrong on all fronts.

    • @rferguson3
      @rferguson3 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t think there would’ve been a 3rd record with Oz. He told Rudy (Sarzo, bass player) that after that last tour they were on, was gonna be his last, with Ozzy. He’d planned to go to school & get his masters, in classical.

    • @JokersWild70
      @JokersWild70 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rferguson3 I do, and here's why: both Randy and his brother Kelle have said that he would have done another studio record and tour and THEN left. Randy apparently told that to his brother, and it's also in Rudy's book. Randy couldn't just walk away because he was under contract to Sharon and Jet Records. If he had been able to do that, he would've walked as soon as what became "Speak of the Devil" was brought up since he wanted nothing to do with recording Sabbath songs. He was stuck. Sharon was not going to let him out of his contract early, period.

    Goog Randy Rhoads house. It is the only house he lived in. In one pic, his VW Scirocco is in the driveway and it says it sat there from 1982 till 2010. It is now in garage and Kelle and sis still own the unoccupied house. But that was 2010
