Jaiden's switch from story time animation to gaming time animation and just gaming in general has been a crazy and yet wonderful switch in the TH-cam sphere. So glad she was honored for her hard work

While I do kinda miss her old story time animations and wish that she went back from making them every once in a while, I am very glad to see her moving on to become much more focused in this sort of gaming (mostly nintendo) content circle.

She has one of the best development scales I’ve ever seen from TH-camrs. It’s really hard to come back up from dropping out of college, but she now she’s a full-time TH-camr with a following of millions. She struggled with body image for a long time, but recovered from it even when a friend revealed her face online without consent. She stood up in the face of a variety of challenges over the course of her life (including hives, a mean passersby in an airport, online hate for being aro-ace, playing Super Mario World blindfolded with an inability to tell the difference between left and right, not looking awkward or suspicious when an Uber stops at the wrong house, and many more), and has always come out on top. To me, Jaiden’s perseverance and determination arc is on the same level as DanTDM and Original Human stepping away from TH-cam crunch to focus on their families. She’s truly one of my favorites of all time, and I’m happy to be part of the adventure as a viewer

@@chwaftka9775Once upon a time Jaiden and Jacob were in a charity event as a part of Jacksepticeye's Thankmas. They raced eachother in pokemon where the pokemon were randomized. As a method to encourage donations even more, they set a donation milestone everytime a milestone was hit. When a milestone was hit, they had to release a pokemon.
At a certain point, Jaiden (of all people) proposed to do a coin flip every milestone: whoever lost in the coinflip releases a pokemon from their party. Jaiden proceeded to lose nearly EVERY SINGLE COINFLIP as well as losing a lot of good pokemon from her party. That is when (I think) where this joke originated
