I think he said that the plant on Team B actually forgot that it was impossible. Also there was a Team C who got fucked with as well.
The sheer fucking audacity to lock your friends in a genuinely inescapable room is one of many reasons why I love Alpharad's content.

Funny thing is I've done this escape room in real life (it's in LA). And the choice was EXTREMELY fitting. It was the most incomprehensible, poorly-designed escape room experience ever - well before Alpharad came in and equipped it with his own clues. EDIT: I watched the video, and just realized that they left the original clues in, and layered Alpharad's red herrings on top.
Oh wow. I had an experience with a similar badly designed escape room where we got through half of it then failed the second half because the clues were littered with red herrings (made to look like they were connected when they weren't). I told the guy that wasn't genuine difficulty and he just shrugged and said "that's why it's difficult." Probably didn't help that I had experience with an actual good escape room where the most difficult puzzle was fun to solve because it required us to take something that hindered us at the start and use it to our advantage.
I’ve been to escape rooms that have ended up genuinely unsolvable due to wear and tear of some clues/puzzles
I did one where they didn't clean out the prompossal puzzle well enough that was added for one session. And they didn't tell us it wasn't part of the game while we were solving it.
I went to a escape room and they misplaced a clue and it became genuinely impossible. A single clue. We didn't make it far enough for that misplaced clue to stunt us, but man that would've SUCKED. lmao
