OMG, the amount of people in these comments who don't pay attention and ask questions that have already been answered is mind boggling!!! 1. This is the exact same model that Hachette is distributing weekly in the UK and Australia via newsagents, and monthly in both countries as a subscription of 4 issues per month over two and a half years. 2. There are absolutely no differences between the two terminators. 3. The Agora model is available to purchase worldwide, but the payments are squished into a 12 month time frame, so it might be a bit expensive per delivery for some people who could otherwise get it as one issue per week, or 4 issues per month. 4. Wayne is building a second one because Agora has asked him to do a build series based on their monthly packs, it will be of benefit to anyone else who gets Termy this way. 5. I think I need a good stiff coffee.... probably a frothy salted caramel one.
Good one, just ordered with them after cancelling with Hachette. So far it’s been a dream experience with the new distributor. So much more professional.
I noticed Wayne, that Agora’s packaging has the Hachette logo on it. How does the kit differ from the other one, and why aren’t you using the modz parts?
Good to see they have included the finger mods from the start., although didn’t we have to turn the eyes up the other way a few issues later? I must admit I like getting 4 issues a month.......I’m not in any rush, and it’s certainly cheaper each month. Also getting the riffle free was kinda nice ;)
Wow, only $1500? At that price anyone can afford to buy a dozen or more and build a diorama of the future war scenes. Hell, buy 100 of them, It's like they're giving them away!
Its not too bad considering its a metal 3ft tall model kit. Ive seen gundam models that are plastic go for nearly as much and painted statuettes go for wayyyyy more than this.

Hi Wayne, just interested if the fingers hold up with the modded plastic sleeve provided in stage 3 or would you recommend using the finger fix by model modz that was originally for the Hachette build?
Hi wayne. In how many days you received the pack 1 since you placed the order? You are always so convicing, so i subscribed to agora yesterday for the T800😀 thank you. Take care
@@WorldofWayneUK Though neither of these people are you considering you'd already started the hatchette one!! Ha Dedication for sure. Love your builds Wayne.
Hi, I just started today building the T-800. (it just arrived today). I built it exactely how your video explains it. But I had a little problem which I didn't resolve, yet. By creating the fingers you always put the plastic sleeves in the holes and then put the big pin from the first side. After that you put some glue in the pin-hole and enter the second, smaler pin. That is what I also did, but whatever I do and whatever I try ... the smaler pins won't keep in place and most of them fall of the hand and the fingers don't stay attached ... In your video it seems to be "hard work" to put them together and I think that your pins work fine ... Do you have any idea what I can do to keep the small pins on their places and also the fingers at the hand? Any suggestions would help ...
Are you doing any mods or weathering to this one or are you building it as is? I did take a long time debating whether i wanted to do this but I ended up deciding not to.
Are you building a second T800 Wayne or Agora offered this to you for free to promote their terminator to your subscribers? I can not imagine how you can afford all these projects. They are absolutely amazing, love your work but the money involved....take care and be safe.
Yep. I am building both. I am collaborating on this one to support its worldwide release. Previously this was only available in a small amount of countries. Now the only way to get it is through Agora models.
That thing is you got more parts than me in tye first pack... Did you choose full set when buy or separate? Head side missing, 1 finger missing, eye pieces to glue on his head missing and dont know if something else, i report to agora this
Question Wayne so are you still doing both models of Terminator. Also i thought they would of made a duel test board for testing the lights together. Which everyone thought was way better Seeing both on at same time. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Everything is exactly the same as the Hatchette part works right down to the magazines. Don't forget that the eyes were in wrong in the Hatchette release
So as far I can tell, Hachette made it first. Then Agora models buy licence and then change a few bits and charge more for it. Same with Mustang build that Deagonstini made same kit just changed a few bits and new paint job.
Thanks for doing these videos Wayne. I enjoy watching even if I’m not doing the build. Do you think that the included finger mods with this pack are acceptable and will be stiff enough to hold the rifle or are the modelmodz fingers better? I actually already have the modelmodz finger mods but am debating whether to use the stock ones or those. Thanks!
Well received pack 1 stages 1-10 today. I am very pleased with the parts, well built and look great. I am however highly disappointed in the packaging and the way it was put in the box to ship. I guess to use a smaller box they removed all the stages from the cardboard backs. This left glue dots all around the edges of the clear parts boxes. This first shipment has the full sized poster and and the instructions. Well the clear boxes with glue dots around the edges stuck to the poster and the instructions and actually pulled of the color and ripped some of the poster and instructions. I do not know from where it shipped I am in the USA, but like I said very pleased with the parts not happy with the packing and having a ruined poster.

Hi Wayne. Why do you think this model is different? As I can see from their web page, it is also from Hachette. Do you mean Hachette improved it? We start building now in Germany. Lets see how the Hachette model is for us. Go on for your fans from Germany
Thanks for making, yet another, very interesting build video! I don't know why Agora Models is using StudioCanals as a reference for rights. StudioCanals is a distribution company. Doing some research, it doesn't appear that StudioCanals has any connection to any of the Terminator movies, what so ever. David Ellison, CEO of Skydance Media, currently owns the rights to the movie franchise (That's why he was co-writer of Terminator: Dark Fate). Contrary to Agora Models' claim, this kit is not an "authentic replica". I don't mean that from a rights perspective, they must have some level of rights, but it seems they don't have full rights because there are just too many glaring inaccuracies. If the kit truly were accurate, then I'd likely fork out the dough to buy it (even if it does cost the same as a cheap second-hand car).
@@WorldofWayneUK I did some more research. It seems that StudioCanals has the rights for distribution of some films, including Terminator 2, but not any of the other Terminator films. They also seem to have the rights to T2 related games, comics, clothing and anime. However, they don't seem to be connected to any of the other films or related merchandise. Agora Models claim the model they're selling is based on the T-800 from the first Terminator film. Perhaps the claim of the model being based on the T-800 from the first Terminator movie should have said it's based on the T-800 from T2, due to, what seems to be, a loop-hole allowing the likeness to be linked back to T2, not T1 as claimed. I could be wrong, but that's the information I was able to dig up. Also, thanks again for making such great videos! They're very relaxing and informative. :-)
Hopefully they've done their research concerning the pulse rifles and Australian Border Security, Customs and replica firearms laws. A lot of people got burnt one time with the release of a replica gun from the Transformers universe, and customs was actually destroying the things because there were no permits involved, which is the responsibility of the person who's receiving one to get a hold of before the prop enters the country, even if it is a fantasy prop that doesn't actually exist in real life. There are ways companies can get around this, but they have to sort out their own permits to legally be able to send their props to consumers in Australia en-mass.
So Hachette could have sent us a gun instead of that stupid tin lid with a comic book cover on it??? Might have to see what Agora charge when they get the things online then.
@@WorldofWayneUK, so some people are saying that Agora's website is stating that these will only be available to purchase if you're a subscriber? Can you find out if this is the case or not, because a lot of Hachette builders in Australia can't afford the 12 month option that Agora has on the build, but they really would like to buy the gun from them thanks to Hachette not supplying one.
At 1st I added up the entire kit it was $1,480 USD and thought that is expensive, until I saw all the details and parts involved in creating this. now it makes sense.
Cool if you can't wait for all those parts at once but that's a SERIOUSLY, and prohibitively for me, expensive option - I like these broken down into a lot more affordable chunks. And the time is flying by anyway :)

@@sammy_dog Alright calm down. There's no need to be an absolute ass about it. Just asking why he's making the exact same model twice. We don't all clearly have the time nor patience to read what everybody is asking now do we? Moron.
I would love to be able to do Terminator but, unfortunately, it has not yet reached my country TT3TT. Hopefully it will come in the not too distant future.

this model is epic.
Buen video amigo donde lo podemos adquirir saludos y tienes un nuevo suscriptor. 👏😉
At a price tag of over 1200 I think I will watch...WOW ! For plastic? You'd think at least stainless.
Molded plastic guns dont come under the law. I had to check it myself lol
Yes I’m on issue 104 of 120 nearly 2 years,it does work out over £1000.00 in the UK it’s supposed to be a METER tall.
Still too EXPENSIVE 😢
Cool if you can't wait for all those parts at once but that's a SERIOUSLY, and prohibitively for me, expensive option - I like these broken down into a lot more affordable chunks. And the time is flying by anyway :)
Ok I have to ask, where did you get that VINCENT robot I see in the background there, I need one of those in my life?
A guy called Ian Hughes. He has it to 3D print on his Patreon channel. Here's a link www.patreon.com/ScifiProps/posts
What!? Why? Wayne, you were building one and now this new one, why?
I'm building 2 now.
I made a T 1000 once... It’s easy, i broke a thermometer...
Hey Wayne have I landed in a parallel universe where you haven't already started the hatchette model or what? Why do it twice??
clean out your ears and listen to what he says or get some glasses and read what has been posted here
stop asking the same stupid questions that 20 other ppl on here have already asked
bloody interwebs parrots
@@sammy_dog Alright calm down. There's no need to be an absolute ass about it. Just asking why he's making the exact same model twice. We don't all clearly have the time nor patience to read what everybody is asking now do we? Moron.
I would love to be able to do Terminator but, unfortunately, it has not yet reached my country TT3TT. Hopefully it will come in the not too distant future.
It's in all countries through Agora Models
Looks like this one will finish ahead of Hachette? Wow, that’s a tad frustrating, given we’re over a year into the build already. Be interesting to see how you cope with the overlap. Like Agora option of quicker completion. Good luck to them.
Super coll. I love the Terminator! where can buy this model? Thanks👏👍
